thanks Mark... I decided to go strictly MMA with it after trying to mesh it (unsuccessfully) with my GWF fed and just ended up with people getting lost in the shuffle. Im hoping Silas can pull off the win as well

Silas has five successful defenses for me, including over Puma and Rubicon (twice). He could do it.

POW - Fight Night I
Tonight's fight card was held from the Pleiades Cluster Center.
In undercard matches:
Gordo knocked out JJ Smooth in one hit with a right uppercut
-not much to say here except maybe this isnt JJ Smooth's cup of tea
Talon knocked out Romulus with a wild left
-once again a one hitter fight, the fans expected a bit more out of this match-up but were greatly disappointed
In mid-card matches:
Pendekar knocked out Scion Nexus after a drop seoinage
-Decent fight between the two, Pendekar dominated the battle but Nexus wasnt going to go down easily, Pendekar managed to wear Nexus down and go in for the kill
Raze knocked out Excalibur with hammer fist punches
-Raze could be a serious threat in the Heavyweight division, Excalibur couldnt seem to get anything going and Raze exploited that fact. After several moments of brutal pummeling Excalibur was down and out
Ahnu knocked out Thayne with knees to the head
-This was a brutal fight between two hard hitters that clearly hate each other. Blood was spilled in this match by both men...Ahnu was vicious in his attacks and ended up getting the decisive victory.
In Title Matches:
POW Cruiserweight Title Match
TK made Euritar(c) submit to an arm lock to capture the title.
-Clearly the match of the night. This was an evenly matches encounter that saw both men give it their best. The fight couldve easily went either way but TK seemed to be on top of his game tonight and Euritar managed to get himself trapped.
POW Heavyweight Title Match
Shylock knocked out Indigo(c) to become the new Heavyweight Champion
-Indigo started off well enough but Shylock was just brutal and his hard hits rocked the champion hard... Shylock never let up and Indigo met the canvas
POW Super Heavyweight Title Match
Silas(c) made Gunnar tap out to a keylock
-Silas made it look easy, Gunnar looked to make a move but thats when Silas drew him in, locked him up and refused to release until he tapped out.

Nice action. I really like the MMA aspect of the POW. I've underestimated Silas before but not anymore, he can dominate on the ground.
Looking forward to more action.

I agree on the MMA aspect, it is a fresh change of pace in the game itself...and even cooler than that is that guys who are underachievers on the wrestling side of things have a chance to shine in MMA and vice versa. When I first started this fed I never thought Silas would be so dominant in the Super Heavy division...He has definetly won me over as a fan. |

He was definitely designed to be kind of a sambo guy who, when it gets to the ground, you're in big trouble. All his wins have been submissions for me, I believe. Maybe one TKO in there, but predominantly subs. |
