Damn! Avarice pulling out the win for the Essence, over Peacemaker no less. Peacemaker's yet to lose in my fed, it will be interesting to see who takes him.
I like how you played the Others, I'm also working out what may happen should they both hold the Essence, but since their not teaming in my fed right now it may never happen.
Seeing Aspin carry his team to two big wins to win the Essense tag titles was fantastic. I've always held out hope for him and now he seems to be coming into his own.

aCe Vid Report The Post-Tournaments Edition!
Cam C'baoth here with your aCe Vid Report. The whopping four consecutive tournaments are in the books. We've crowned a Centra Cup winner, an Essence singles champ, an Essence tag champ and a Holovision Champ.
Peacemaker's bid to be the measuring stick for all of aCe nearly got cemented in the finals of the Essence tournament. His narrow defeat to Avarice put a 1 in his loss column, and made the New School leader the champ. Given Peacemaker's frustrations afterwards, and his laying out of the goading Brothers Oaken, I think it's safe to say that he'll be vying to make Avarice's reign an uneasy, short one!
Controversy abound in the tag ranks. With the Others mysteriously abandoning their bid for the Essence, The Brigade got a beneficial free pass through the first round. While the work ethics of Lance and Aspin cannot be questioned, there has been ample grousing from other tag-teams. Expect the champs to have their hands full with angry suitors.
Our quick hits: -- The Nemean Show debuts on the next card, aCe Gladiator Games....and it ought to be interesting out of the gate. Nes Kincade will be his first guest. The foul-mouthed newcomer may have some choice words about both Pendragon and Nemean himself! -- Scud has put the entire aCe roster on notice. "Wherever there is injustice, foul play, or evil shenanigins, you'll have Scud to contend with!" The upstart seems to have a long way to go to prove himself, but already having a Godsend win under his belt does give him some credibility. -- Eye witnesses spotted a near-altercation between teammates Scorch and Hustler backstage at the tag-team tournament. Reportedly, the two were having heated words, which escalated into Scorch pushing his partner up against the wall and getting in his face. It settled down before anything further developed....but could there be troubles with that volatile team?
Up next, aCe Gladiator Games....and in our next report, we'll talk rankings!

Catching up on reading the aCe feds...started with Aquinas' easy to read and always smart results.
Awesome to see it was the two tourneys!
Peacemaker v Avarice is sweet. Love how you're writing Maker and the New School.
Aspin's success is always cool.
Get some, Scud!

ace Gladiator Games 05.02.2122 from Paradise Palace
- Normal - Witchdoctor vs. Esperanto Esperanto defeated Witchdoctor with a DEAD MAN'S HAND at 8:33 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Witchdoctor made his usual bizarre entrance, gesticulating menacingly at the crowd and shouting things about the second coming of Murdok. Esperanto had some troubles against the odd newcomer, but pulled off a solid victory.
- The Nemean Show - Today's Guest: Nes Kincade Nemean brought out Kincade to talk about the Holovision Title and Pendragon, its first holder. Before he got into those issues, the flamboyant one couldn't pass up opportunities to criticize Kincade for his uncouth brand of showmanship.
"I mean, seriously....is it really necessary to swear every other word, Kincade? Is that the only way you can draw attention? Weak. Look at me. All you see is pure, 100% cool. Take notes, give it a few years, and maybe you'll be a junior Nem...."
Kincade shook his head. "Not bitin', lizard breath. I'm here to talk about 'da champ'. You know, the **** who calls himself a war hero? Who the **** cares about a war hero here? Some of us were smart enough to stay out of that mess and bide their time. Not Pendragon. Idiot decided to stick his neck out there and be a 'hero'. Where did that get him? Same **** place I am. Right here wrestling. Hahaha! What a...."
Pendragon rushed out from backstage and yelled, "Say another word about my war experiences and you'll pay a dear price, you loud-mouthed worm...."
Kincade laughed. "And here he is. What's the matter, you watch one too many of your buddies get plugged in the he...."
Pendragon dove at Kincade and smashed him through The Nemean Show display. They pounded at each other until security quickly stepped in.
- Normal - Mr. Bloat vs. Scud Mr. Bloat defeated Scud with a CRUEL AND UNUSUAL at 3:46 Match Rating: 1.25 Match Notes: Scud has captivated many fans already with his over-the-top persona and spirited showings....but tonight, the nefarious criminal Mr. Bloat was all business and made this a laugher.
- Announcement - Acting commissioner android Cyric-167B strolled out and in his usual, unemotional manner, announced that the volatile situation between Pendragon and Nes Kincade would be hopefully resolved....with a match tonight!
- Normal - Shepard vs. Nemean Nemean defeated Shepard with a deathjump at 7:52 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Nemean has certainly raised the bar for flamboyance and showmanship in aCe, but could we back up the bravado with in-ring success? The answer, thus far, is a resounding "Yes!". In a gutty, crowd-pleasing match, Nemean overcame top contender Shepard for a career-catapulting victory!
- Normal - Darkseed vs. Totalis Darkseed defeated Totalis with a Spiked Mace at 4:41 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: It is obvious to many that Darkseed is jockeying for leadership of The Dominion, what with Godsend's struggles. Here, he faced another struggling guy with a lot of potential - Totalis. In a decent matchup, the former demon prevailed.
- Normal - Paganax vs. Godsend Godsend defeated Paganax with The Realm Eternal at 9:31 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Despite his struggling since the reformatted aCe's inception, Godsend was given another main event match. The potential bad news -- he was facing juggernaut Paganax. And in an outstanding battle of two former Essence holders, Godsend at least restored some of his luster with a huge victory!
- Normal - Pendragon vs. Nes Kincade Pendragon defeated Nes Kincade with an OVERTHROW at 6:54 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Kincade had his chances in this one, but kept making costly mistakes that Pendragon took advantage of. As this one went on, Nemean came out and circled the ring, appraising the action. He obviously seemed unimpressed, shaking his head often. After the match, a wounded Kincade, frustrated beyond control, tackled Pendragon and the two went at it some more.
This prompted Nemean, after eye-rolling, to run in and try to break things up. He kept yelling, "You guys have no class at all!"....but when both guys shoved him away to continue their brawling, the flamboyant one got irate and joined in!
The three pounded at each other until security finally got around to stepping in.

aCe Showtime 05.07.2122 from Southern Sun Memorial Hall
- Normal - Peacemaker vs. Odyssey Peacemaker defeated Odyssey with a PEACEMAKER'S OATH at 4:21 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Peacemaker was all business here, dispatching Odyssey and showing Centra that he will not be stopped in his bid for supremacy in aCe.
After the match, he stared into the closest camera and barked, "Enjoy your reign while it lasts, Avarice -- I'm coming for you."
- Normal - Nightmare vs. Gabriel Nightmare defeated Gabriel with an ankle lock at 8:02 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Excellent match here. Nightmare and his ex-demon allies may have lost the real war, but at least he exacted some in-ring revenge here.
- Normal - Primeval Destruction vs. Sycophant and Master Warfare defeated Sycophant the Deviant with a countout at 9:39 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Another great match. S&M may not be blazing to the top of the tag ranks, but they continue to give all opponents a tough challenge.
However, Primeval Destruction may well be the team to beat. They have looked sensational in just about every match.
- Normal - The Brothers Oaken vs. Hustler and Scorch Donk Oaken defeated Hustler with a COUPE DE GRACE at 5:33 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Decent showing here by Hustler and Scorch, but Hustler continues to struggle, and the well-oiled machine that is the Oaken team capitalized.
- Main Event - The Amazing Mann vs. Ventross Ventross defeated The Amazing Mann with a MERCY KILLING at 3:01 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: What a stunner! The Amazing Mann went right at Ventross at the bell and dominated him. However, he flubbed one turnbuckle move, Ventross capitalized....and used exactly ONE move to win this match -- his finisher. - Aftermath - After such a costly, avoidable loss, Mann was beside himself. He went outside of the ring and grabbed one of the metal chains that are part of his entrance costume, then headed in to clobber Ventross with it!
The savvy Ravager veteran spotted this and managed to grab the other end of the chain....and smacked Mann with it. He busted open the GWF former champ with his own chain, then gave him a few more hits for good measure!
Medics had to tend to Mann afterwards, but the damage was done. Ventross emerges victorious in a tremendous match, and shows that he is still one of the top forces to reckon with in aCe.
(The Amazing Mann is injured for 6 fight cards)

aCe Gold Rush 05.13.2122 from Four Corners Coliseum
- Announcement - Twelve men have been selected to participate in this Battle Royal to determine the #1 contention to Pendragon's Holovision Championship!
There is one added stipulation. Because the aCe ruling bodies have determined Nes Kincade to be the past #1 contender based on his finish in the initial tournament to crown the title-holder, he will be allowed to enter this match when only 5 wrestlers remain.
- Battle Royal - Scud vs. Witchdoctor vs. Exodus vs. PainMaster vs. Scorch vs. Nightmare vs. Nemean vs. Esperanto vs. Totalis vs. Darkseed vs. Mr. Bloat vs. Nes Kincade Scorch defeated Nemean with an over the top at 35:28 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Order of Elimination: 1. Esperanto by Mr. Bloat 2. Exodus by Mr. Bloat 3. Mr. Bloat by Nightmare 4. Withdoctor by Nightmare 5. Totalis by Nightmare 6. PainMaster by Scorch 7. Scud by Nes Kincade 8. Nes Kincade by Darkseed 9. Darkseed by Scorch 10. Nightmare by Nemean 11. Nemean by Scorch - Aftermath - Scorch is the unexpected winner and #1 contender to the Holovision Title!
The gutty miner pulled off this test of endurance, overcoming strong challenges in particular from Nightmare and Nemean.
Nightmare and Darkseed stalked around the ring after the match, eyeing Scorch coldly.
Despite the huge advantage, Nes Kincade was unable to capitalize. In fact, Scud nearly eliminated him minutes after he entered the match. Darkseed unceremoniously finished the job.
