Match Notes: Ventross has a new lease on his career. He still is continued one of the best GWF wrestlers who never captured the top title, and he has that same distinction in aCe. He faced little challenge tonight from newcomer Witchdoctor, who acted very bizarre before and during the match.

Avarice defeated Scud with a 7TH SIN at 3:37
Match Rating: 2.00
Match Notes: Scud came down with much flash and fanfare, immediately winning over the crowd with his superhero-esque look. Avarice mostly got cheers, though some people obviously weren't into his arrogant disposition. Some still resent him for bailing to the GWF for a limited run. In any case, he destroyed Scud.

Avarice sauntered over to the announcing table, grabbed an extra headset, kicked his feet up on the table, and leaned back. "And now you see my master plan. I wisely get out of this dimension when the war is at its most violent, and get into the GWF. And even here it's well known what I did there. I employed the services of the greatest wrestler of our era, Janus the Overman....I dominated all the wrestling headlines....and I captured the Interstellar Champion. All the while, I made an obscene amount of money. Now I'm back, and out of my fortunes and my family's springs The New School. Just wait until you see what The New School does to the aCe."
"I thought you came back here because you felt you were needed IN the war?" the perplexed color announcer, Cam C'baoth exclaimed.
Avarice grinned broadly, letting out a relaxed sigh. "How the war ended obviously affected my family....but getting the actual blood on my hands? That's a waste of my abilities. No, I used the GWF to advance myself and to fill my pockets. With the prestige and the money, The New School has begun. And just wait until you see us. Avarice as Essence Champion....The Brothers Oaken as Essence Tag Champions....Nes Kincade as Holovision Champion. It's all going to work so perfectly!"

Pendragon defeated Mr. Bloat with a disqualification at 7:47

Match Notes: War hero Pendragon got his hands on the despicable criminal Mr. Bloat. This was a pretty solid match. Bloat actually started dominating this one after some see-saw action....only to get disqualified.

Peacemaker defeated Nightmare with a countout at 8:07
Match Rating: 3.25
Match Notes: The man assigned to uphold the balance in aCe makes his debut, and in impressive fashion. Nightmare silently went about his business and was a serious challenge....but Peacemaker prevailed for a big debut victory!

Peacemaker strode to the nearest camera, leaned close to it, and stated emphatically, "I am the Peacemaker, and let everyone in aCe be on notice -- no man, faction, or belief shall ever corrupt the foundation of this federation! If anyone gets out of line, if anyone sullies this federation's reputation....they will have me to deal with. And dealing with me is not a pleasant prospect."
With that, he strode out of the ring confidently.

The Amazing Mann defeated Godsend with an UNBREAKABLE at 6:12
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: What an incredible debut for The Amazing Mann. Considerable Syndicate resources went into signing the former GWF champion and emerging legend....and here he was, in a showdown with one of aCe's most prominent combatants.
And what a debut it was. He took everything Godsend threw at him, and had an answer. The former demon just couldn't get the upper hand, and became increasingly frustrated. And in the end, the great UNBREAKABLE Tour began in grand fashion, with Godsend being the first to tap out!

Peacemaker vs. Lance At-Las
Peacemaker defeated Lance At-Las with a PEACEMAKER'S OATH at 21:23
Match Rating: 4.25
Match Notes: What a match for the ages. Wrestling legend Lance At-Las found himself facing the unknown, in the form of the enigmatic Peacemaker.
This was a superb match, that saw Lance dominate early. Peacemaker hung in there though, and kept kicking out and living to fight on.
In the end, the man assigned to be the ultimate enforcer stunned the wrestling world by keeping his record perfect with a gutty win over Lance.
- Cup Presentation -
The aCe acting commissioner, Cyric-167B -- the advanced robot purchased by The Alliance from Syndicate Technologies -- marched to the ring and presented the Centra Cup to Peacemaker.
The crowd was mixed, some appreciating the wrestling clinic that this man put on en route to being the first Cup winner, some not sure what to make of the proud, oath-swearing Alliance man.
"This is what I set out to do from the very beginning," he told the crowd. "The bar will be set. I take my job very seriously, and I want every wrestler in this federation to realize that. You want to get to the top? You want to do ANYTHING of consequence in aCe? You must answer to me."
And so, the undefeated Peacemaker strode out of the ring with the gleaming Centra Cup.

Nice to see an aCe fed from Aquinas!
Peacemaker dominating is very fun... and Scud over Godsend? The Demon must must be ticked! Look out behind you, Scud...

That Scud is just Mr. Upset.... another disappointing showing for Totalis too...he's gotta step up or he's getting shipped back to the 'Z'. I'm looking foward to see what you do with Peacemaker, as his character hasn't really grabbed me. Very cool having Nes over Avarice... that should cause a stir at the Family Rose castle |
