POFC 10: Raining Blood
Prelim Fights: Cruiserweight Match- Tomas KO Keller v Dante Not a great fight, but not horrible either. Keller has no business being on the ground at all, as he flopped around like a dead fish most of the fight. Some back and forth, but Dante controlled the majority of the fight and ended the contest at 10:45 with a heel hook.
Super HeavyWeight Match - Puma v Silas Good short match, Silar who has been surprisinngly game, started out well but a missed right hand was all Puma needed to stake over. Pardon the pun, but Puma pounced on that opportunity stunning the Russian judoka with single leg takedown and from there secured that sitting side choke he is so fond of at 5:12.
Main Card HeavyWeight Match- Raze v Jack Hood Jack Hood's debut match in the POFC came with much fanfare and much fan supprot, but not much luck. Raze attacked like the monster he is, pummeling the Hood on his feet, dominaitng in the clinch and punishing him on the ground. Hood did get some offense in , but ultimately he was overwhelmed. Raze, in a mounted position that Hood futiley tried to escape from, pounded away with punches and hammerfists until the ref stepped in and stopped the fight at 4:33. Hood was initially angered, but relented when he realized the ref was just doing his job.
Roe Jogan, interviewed both fighters. "I did not do well in the tournament, so I have to start from the bottom, and that is fine. I just get top beat more people up on my way to the top! Hood is a tough guy who took a heck of a beating- I think I broke my hands on his head!"
"Well now, I do be tinkin' I need ta broosh up on me skills, eh boyo? It dannae matter if The Hood win 'er lose- The Hood is 'ere ta fight!"
Cruiserweight Match- Zed Marlowe v David "Scion" Nexus This was one great fight. Although he was not as spry as he used to be, Nexus showed great resolve and ring knowledge to escape the younger and more voracious Marlowe. Action flowed back and forth, Marlowe usually having the upper hand, Nexus did have the younger man in trouble with some solid fists but Marlowe was able to clinch and score damaging shots there before taking the match to the mat. Nexus and Marlowe switched position on the mat several times, with Nexus escaping several dangerous spots before the younger fighter secured an arm and used his legs to triangle it and force a tap at 8:12. After the match ,both men shook hands.
"I have to give credit to Nexus- No offense but he is not the youngest guy and he is coming out here and making me work! Look at him- he is ready to keep going! Ha ha, the guy is a machine, a true competitor. Now I hope that this win moves me up the ranks some. I'll fight anyone next."
Cruiserweight Match- Crucible v Myron "True" Gryt This fighter was the antithesis of the previous fight. It was long slow and boring. A perfect "pee and pretzel" break, if you will. Anyway, these two might as well have had pillows to hit each other with for all of the dmagae they did to one another- wait, no, pillows might have made it interesting. After twelve minutes and twenty seconds of non- finishing, tired hugging and laying on another, the ref stepped in to take Crucible off Gryt. Oh wait, you mean those are what he calls "punches"?
"I am not so sure about this. I think I may have hurt my hands- look, my cuticles are damaged. I think I may consider going back to my headshriking practice."
At this point, a sveltly dressed man with glasses and a suit entered the ring and addressed the crowd:" Ladies and gentlemen, it is my sincere pleasure to announce to you that your benefactors, the Corporation, have provided each of you with a ticket for a free beverage and snack of your choice, redeemable at any of the concessions stands in the Arena. Also, the Corporation would like to announce that, in addition to enjoying to provide you with a venue in which to watch the exciting matches of the POFC, the Corporation is also going to sponsor fighters. These fighters will receive no special treatment, mind you; they will have a more steady paycheck, so to speak. At this time, the Corporation would like to announce the first fighter to join Team Corporate: Gene "The Sloth " Sieselski!
The man in the ring motioned to the Corporation's press box. A spotlight shone on a huge, dark haired man as he stood, ever so slowly, up. He was enormous, easily close to seven feet tall. He looked bored.
The spotlight went off, and the man in the ring said "Thank you all for your time" and left.
Super HeavyWeight Match- Mensar v Ka' Lek "The Dominator" Zhulan This match pitted two big heavy hitter against each other. Dominator started strong, but some ring rust showed as Mensar began to score heavily in what is considered The Dominator's home- the clinch. Mensar hit a few big throws, pounded away on the ground, and when The Domiantor got back up, Mensar clinched again and exectued more big throws. The Dominator was KOed at :12 after Mensar bounced his opponent's head into the mat with a quick osoto gari.
"So much for 'The Return of the Dominator', huh? Ha ha , Buh- bye, now. On to more important things: I want that strap, you freak! It is mine! I was sick and was fighting with some back problems the last time we fought. Next time it will not be the case. I'll crush you and then I'll reign supreme!"
Main Event Cruiserweight Title Match- Thayne Sigurssen (Champion) v TK These two met on the first POFC 1: The Beginning At Last, with TK scoring a quick KO of Thayne. Both men entered the Cruiserweight Title Tournament, and while TK went down early, Thayne went on to score three impressive ins: a suprising (and sweetly executed) submssion of Pendakar, a KO of Zed Marlowe and a KO on Stigma, to win the title. Now for his first title defense, Thayne seeks to erase the blemish on his record and keep his impressive win streak alive, while TK hopes rise out of obscurity and get to the top of the division.
TK looks confident and relaxed, and Thayne has that stoic/ angry look down to a 'T'. The ref signals the bell, and the fighters come out of the corner, and circle, TK starts with a few testing jabs, Thayne absorbs the punishment, but stays home. TK attacks with a roundhouse kick- Thayne steps in and counters with an uppercut. TK is stunned! Thayne continues with boxing combos before landing that flying knee strike he loves! TK goes down- and is out! Ref has to pull Thayne off TK as he seemed to just keep pounding away! What a victory! KO at 1:04! Wow!!
"That", Thayne points to the still unrevived TK, "that is what awaits all who step in my way. I was not even considered to win this belt. and now I have it. Pry it from my cold, dead hands if you want it."
Notes: Attendance: 30, 100 (Full capacity). As an update, Tauran Robkins suffered three cracked vertebrae and has severe swelling in his head from his brutal knock out at POFC 9: Houligan's Holiday. It is possible that Tauran's fighting career may be over. Sad, because he was a good competitor, even if he was a GWF guy... GWF Commissioner Massif is supposedly re- thinking his agreement to allow his wrestlers to compete in the POFC. If so, it will be an admitted loss for the POFC- for the revenue and for the talented fighters such as Drury, Anivar Suleov, The Valourous One, and even that wacky Aethran, "Rage" Taiaha. They can, however, keep Gryt. We'll provide more on this as it develops.... No injuries from the fight card.... Great to see Nexus can still go; guy was always a gamer, and good to see he has made a good transition. If only he were a few years younger... Raze looked good in his win, but gotta love the attitude of Jack Hood... Corproation's news was huge. The have the capital and the clout to attarct some big fighters to their camp. I wonder if this is in repsonse to the Hawver Santori rumors? Anyway, I'd love to see Corporation Security Head Vito Torre get in there- any dude with a mohawk that big has gotto be a bad man... The Swankatrons showed a better close up of The Sloth- that guy has something wrong with him, no doubt about it....The Dominator's return match, and he gets Mensar?!? What are they trying to do, kiil the guy's rep? I know he is a true fighter, but he has been away for a while- give him a tune up match ... Both Chuck Norris and Mr T were seen in separate talks throughout the card with representatives for Hawver Santori- what is the deal here?... Thayne may look like he has the emotions of stone, says things that are kinda creepy, but believable from him, but I like the guy. He is all business. Fans seem to dig him as well. He does provide action. And that is what Grael and Prodigy want: fighters that provide action. Thayne should be around for a long time.
Next Card, POFC 11: Man on the Edge, will feature Shylock in his first title defense against Maruk Terminus!
KO of the Night: Thayne with a flying knee on TK Submission of the Night: Zed Marlowe with a triangle arm bar on Nexus Fight of the Night: Zed Marlowe defeats Nexus via submission.

I love the real name references.
I have to agree that Thayne is a real force. He's got a decent shot at capturing my cruiserweight belt next time he gets a shot at Stigma.

Thanks! I like the "real name" thing- although I may have to take a few liberties with some of your guys. Who do we know aside from Dante (Santangello)?
You already know I am a big fan of Thayne and bothing makes me happier that he keeps winning. Thing is that is the most stacked division and he is probaby, statistically, around the 6th best guy!

Well, Matinee Idol is Zak Polter, as mentioned in the 2122 handbook. Jack of Diamonds is Jack Cardashian. Not sure that I've ever mentioned any other names, but I could be wrong about that.
EDIT: Saboteur is Tynar Gelb, of course, and Nero is Karah Wednis. Just remembered those. Shylock's first name is Gujor, but I don't believe I ever gave him a last name.

POFC 11: Man on the Edge
Prelims
Suoer HeavyWeight Match: Hadrian v Mala "The Sledge" Selopina The debut of the heavy- handed Sledge was brief. Selopina charged across the ring and began laying a beatdown on the transformed ape- man, quickly ending the match with a nice combo of uppercuts at 0:45. Impressive debut.
Curiserweight Match: Brainstorm v Ahnu Ahnu makes a very impressive showing here, controlling the action from start to finish. He took his time and did some damage, and ultimately won with a reverse toe hold at 4:12.
Main Card
Super HeavyWeight Match: Neron "Minotauro" Arona v Gene "The Sloth" Cicelski The Coproration's first signee debuts in his fight against the crafty veteran, Minotauro. Some good action, that flopped back and forth, Minotauro almost spoiled The Sloth's debut after a brutal double leg, but Cicelski bounced back and rocked Arona with a nice elbow. Match time was 3:16.
Roe Jogan caught up with th winner: "Hmmmmmm.............so................. tired......................"
Heavyweight Match: Severn "Sly" Drury v Mike Fortune Oh boy! Remember last card when we said Massif was reconsidering his deal with the POFC to allow his athletes to compete here, especially after Tauran's horrific injury? Well, this one may have put that over the top. Sly started out very strong, hitting some nice combos and controlling the pace. The match went to the ground, where Fortune had a nice escape and got back to his feet. Fortune came in with that wild right he loves to use and WHAM! Drury went out like a light. It took several minutes to revive him. Fortune at 6:33.
"Nobody gave me no chance with this guy. Ha, the heck with that, huh? Hey buddy, go back to the GWF and play there, huh?"
At this point in time, Koro "Rage" Taiaha stepped into the ring and grabbed the microphone.
"Oh- key, dhen. Ah'ma her' wit' a tir-tee thowsan' dulla' prize, mahn. 'Oo wantsta try ta' take it frum meh? Co' mon, now, brudda, dis be me own dang moneh Ah do be puttin' oop; Ah gutta have a challenga'!"
Rage waited and looked at the dressing area for a minute. Hanuman finaly stepped out.
Heavyweight Match: Hanuman v Koro "Rage" Taiaha Rage came firing out of the gate, trying to lay out Hanuman. Hanuman was having nothing of that, took control of the fight and began his own assault. There was a lot of clinch fighting, with Hanuman hitting some big slams. Rage, however, is one tough Atheran, and latched onto a keylock while Hanuman was attempting to transition into the mount. Time was 5:23.
"A' ghen, Ah do be showin' why Ah de -serve ta be 'ere, mahn. Ah keep winnin'. Ah luve ta fight! Ah luve beatin' dhese sukas up, jhoo kno' wha' Ah do be sayin', mahn! Keep bringin' me more fresh ones, ya mahn!"
Cruiserweight Match: Romulus v Chino "Morbid" Huerta Not to be outdone by his "rival", The Corporation, Hawyer Santori made sure his first signee, "Morbid" Huerta, was also on the card. Romlus came out punching and took it to the newcomer. The two battleback and forth, with Romulus scoring some major shots standing and on the mat. Morbid, however, remained calm and caught Romulus witha nice sweep before applying a fight ending anaconda choke at 7:34.
"I am happy to be here, that was a great way to start of my career in the POFC. I love that choke, I practice it all the time, I can hit it anywhere. The other Cruisers better beware, things are about to get Morbid!"
Cruiserweight Match: Stigma v Talon Stigma was on fire. Talon looked lost and confused as the ball of fury came at him guns blazing. Talon did survive a surprising amount of time, but a well executed harai goshi kcocked the air out of Talon, and had him gasping for air and tapping out at 2:29.
"Yeah, Baby! I. AM. Back! I am gonna break any other dirtbags that step across from me just like that. And Thayne? I'm coming for that belt! I am the best guy in this division, and I am gonna prove it."
Heavyweight Title Match: Shylock v Maruk Terminus This match should be epic! Maruk has been very impressive in his first three fights, while Shylock has spent more time walking to the ring than fighting. Shylock is so explosive and dangerous. Maruk has some deadly slams and throws. This should be a war!
The fighters come out of the corner. Both circle and test range, throwing some quick jabs. Lots of respect here. Shylock moves in and connects with one uppercut, and another! Terminus goes down hard! He is out!!!! Holy cow, he is out! Time is 0:15. Wow, what an assault! Shylock is deadly!
"Uh, I saw the opening and I took it. It was kinda hoping this one would go a little, because I do think he is a tough guy and I wanna be challenged, but I guess he 's gotta train his chin a bit better. I don't know how to do that but, yeah..."
Notes: Attendance at the DeGarmo Memorial Arena: 30, 390.... It is strongly rumored that Massif is going to recind his offer to the POFC. That is a real shame. A big loss for the POFC..... Sloth's debut was impressive and the Corporation should be proud. Vito Torre was beaming as his trainee did well. But they should be a it concerned, as "Morbid's" debut and win easily stole the show. Plus, it is rumored that Santori has acquired some real talent under his banner. I wonder how the Corporation will counter.... The Sledge looked great tonight. He will be a real help to the very thin Super division... Tough loss for Minotauro. He is having a hard time making the a real impact, but he is a gamer who always comes to fight.... Fortune looked good, but as noted earlier, his win will come at a high cost. Drury was fine backstage, but will be medically suspended for a while... That "Rage" guy is crazy. From his accent, to putting up his own money, to fighting anyone that steps through the curtain. Personally, I love him.... Stigma looked awesome. That guy gives everything he has all the time. He's got the "short man's complex', and he is not afraid to use it.... As for the title match, well, Shylock is just awesome. He hits like a cannon. Terminus is a tough guy, but one has to wonder what this will do to his psyche. He has been rolling through his opposition, only to be on the wrong end of a nasty KO. Hopefully he will recover well... Mr T and Chuck Norris were seen signing autographs. They were apparently on opposing sides for the title fight as Norris was elated when Shylock sent Terminus to the mat, while T scowled... Some Swantrons went down during the Rage v Hanuman and Morbid v Romulus fights, however Vito Torre made sure they were fixed quickly... The POFC has come under fire recently about women competing here. While we agree that women are as good athletes as men, they will never fight in the POFC. The reasoning behind this is, frankly, pretty sexist: we do not like to see women get beat up. Why would any of the want to spoil their beautiful faces? Sorry, no interest here.
The next card, POFC 12 : When Two Worlds Collide, will feature Rubicon defending his title against Mensar!
KO of the Night: Mike Fortune with a wild right Submission of the Night: Chino "Morbid" Huerta via anaconda choke Fight of the Night: "Morbid" Huerta defeats Romulus via submission.

POFC 12: When Two Worlds Collide
Prelims
Super Heavy Match: Aleksander "Czar" Romanov v Gordo The return of the Czar was unknown but to a few insiders. Here, he contested his former training partner, Gordo. Czar started out strong, taking it to the ground to use his sambo skills. Unfortunately, Gordo was too massive for any submissions holds to take effect, and got back to his feet. On their feet, Gordo used a crushing haymaker to spoil Romanov's return to competition at 4:22.
Heavyweight Match: Excalibur v Indigo Not a bad contest between these two Heavies. Indigo started strong, stringing together some good combinations and causing some trouble for the younger fighter. Excalibur bounced back, and took the fight to the ground. Once there, Excalibur put Indigo away with some well executed elbows and punches at 4:19.
Main Card
HeavyWeight Match: Jack Of Diamonds v Cypher This one went pretty mcuh as one could precict with most of the acton on the ground. Cypher seemed to be too much for Jack, attempting one move after another, sweeping, and transitioning to different positions. Jack did manage to get some good shots in, and had Cypher reeling once back on the feet, but Cypher was able to get the fight back to the ground. Jack showed excellent experience as he patiently defended himself, but Cypher was able to apply a surprisingly quick twister at 5:56 to end the fight.
Roe Jogan caught up with our winner. "Jack is a good competitor, but it was a foregone conclusion that I'd win. I really don't know what I am doing so low on the card, but whatever. I keep winning, so please President Prodigy, grant me a crack at Shylock. I guarantee I'll do better than that Terminus guy did! I mean who the heck else do I have ta choke to get a shot?"
Heavyweight Match: Taurine v Hideki "Pit Viper" Torune We have been told that Torune is coming out of Hawyer Santori's camp, The Freak Pantheon. A very impressive signing, as Torune has good stand up and is tough in the clinch. This was, however, a very poor debut for him. Pit Viper started out landing many good shots and almost finishing the Punk, but Taunire, the loveable underdog, fought back hard. Taurine absolutely controlled the action on the ground, almost getting a submisson or three. Torune escaped and stood up, but it was Taurine that was in charge. A few bruising combos, and a nice roundhiuse kick put an end to the debut of the Pit Viper. Time was 5:06.
"I keep on being overlooked here, and I have pulled out some good wins. I deserve respect! Alla you Punks out there show it, and I thank you! Everyone else, well, I am gonna show you just how far a Punk can go. We are 138!"
President Prodigy, flanked by Faustus Grael, entered the ring and addressed the crowd.
"How is everyone enjoying the action here tonight, huh?" he asked the crowd. The fans reacted by showing their enthusiastic approval. " Well, as you know, we have had an agreement with the GWF to allow their athletes to compete here in the POFC. As of now, that has come to an end." There was a low mix of cheer and boos, but most of the crowd was silent. "We are sad to lose their competitors. I have here a written statement that was sent to me by GWF Commissioner Massif. In it, he wrote " I think it is in the best interest of my organization that we end our agreement. I can appeciate my athletes willingness to compete, and I certanily appreciate your open door policy, but with the recent string of injuries sustained to my wrestlers, for the good of the GWF fans and the good of the orgainzation, I cannot allow them to take that chance . I cannot allow that to continue."
"So I would, at this time, like to express my thanks to Commissioner Massif for letting his guys come here and fight. I would also like to say, though, that they are big boys doing what big boys will do, and if any of them still want to compete here, well, our door is always open."
Crusierweight Match: Kenji "Eclipse" Yamashamito v Euritar Two heavy strikers going toe to toe! Fans were interested to see if Euritar could hang with the stand up game up Yamashamito. Eclipse is incredible standing, but Euritar has a better overall game. The "Human Assault Frigate" starts off early, landing a nice combo of kicks and punches. Euritar seemed to feel comfortable, perhaps a lttle too comfortable, as when Eclipse lauched an incredibly fast roundhouse kick to the head, Euritar went down hard, and began counting lights. Time was 0:37.
"Uhhh... kick veddy fast.... hit him.... he go down. Domo arrigato."
Super HeavyWeight Match: Gunnar v A' Khas "The Leviathan" Fel The debut of the much touted and talented Leviathan was against SHW contender Gunnar. Both men like to trade pucnhes, and did so often. Fel threatened to finish the fight at several instances, landing a crushing slam and utilizing a slightly superior ground game to control Gunnar. Fel tried several times to secure a Kimura lock, but Gunnar was able to block and keep himself in the fight. Despite being out weighed by 60+ pounds, Gunnar used a failed submission attempt to get it back to the feet . And launched stunning stomach punch that had Fel gasping for air and verbally submitting at 7:19.
" I just wanna get back into the title picture. I am really looking forward to tonight's macthup. I had a great fight with Rubicon, and I have already beaten Mensar, so I am up for any of the two of them."
Super HeavyWeight Title Match: Rubicon (champion) v Mensar (challenger)
The staredown in the ring as the ref gives his final instructions is intense. The two touch gloves and return to their corners. The bell rings and we are underway! Both men circling here. Mensar is using his superior height and reach to keep the more massive champion at bay. They trade punches, no man having an advantage. Menar hits a hard kick to the side with catches Rubicon flush. Menasr presses forward, Rubicon catches Mensar with a stinging thigh kick. Rubicon hits two nice uppercuts and Mensar goes down! Rubicon follows and starts to unload. Mensar is able to avoid most of the punches, and takes Rubicon's back! Mensar trying for the rear choke... Rubicon holding Mensar's arms at bay and has his chin down. Mensar gets his arms free and begins to hammer away! Rubicon looks hurt, but he is still fighting, and manages to get out of the body lock and stand up. Mensar follows and manages to clinch. Rubicon uses some big knees to send Mensar to the mat! He beigins raining down fists to his fallen opponent! Mensar pulls guard and Rubicon uses a can opener to break it. Mensar hangs tough, and Rubicon passes into half guard. Rubicon sits up and tries to throw a punch, but Mensar blocks and sweeps the Champion! Mensar on top dishing pain. Rubicon bucks Mensar, and has enough room to get out. Rubicon gets to his feet, but Mensar will not allow him any rest time. Whoa! a huge right hand rocks the Champion, and there is huge nasty gash on the champ's eyebrow! Doctors check and Rubicon is deemed okay to fight. The ref restarts an they come come out, Rubicon looking dazed. Mensar lands a few solid combos and clinches up. Rubicon looking for a little rest, bleeds on Mensar's shoulder. Mensar changes levels and scoops up the champ and hits a brutal double leg takedown that bounces the champ's head on the mat. Rubicon somehow gets back up and Mensar again slams his head into the mat with a high elevation double! Rubicon's cut appears to be worse! Both men are becoming crimson as the fight wears on. Rubicon uses the added slickness of the blood to escape and he pushes the challenger off and makes it to his feet. Rubicon launches a big front kick which stops the challenger's forward press. Rubicon tries a spinning hammerfist, but Mensar ducks and comes inside with an uppercut and a hook! The Champ goes down! The Champ goes down! Mensar goes to follow but the ref calls it off! The ref has stopped the fight! We have a new Champion! Hoooleee cow, a new Champion! Wow, what a war! Rubicon still appears to be dazed and is being treated by Medical staff. Mensar is running wild around the ring hooting and yelling "I am the MAN"! Official time was 14:18.
President Miles Prodigy is in the ring with the Super HeavyWeight Title: " Mensar, it is my pleasure to present to you the title for the Super HeavyWeight division. Wear and defend it with pride!" Prodigy strapped the belt around the new champ's waist.
Roe Jogan caught up with the winner: "So Mensar, how did you feel about that fight? Were you prepared? That was a nice kick you finished him with!"
"Shut up and lemme talk! I beat that freakjob over there, I beat his carcas all around the ring! He was just too stupid to lie down and go to sleep. Now I am the top and I'll show you what a real Champ is made of! I am the MAN with the Belt! I'd love to kick the crap out of Gunnar, but his little tag along may have given him something, so give me someone else or make sure he showers REAL good before we go! A lot of new blood in this division, all to be spilled by me! Take a look at your former Champion.... and expect more."
Notes: Attendance 30 090... Rumors turn to truth, it was good while it lasted, GWF.... Big celebrities out there as singers Mina Traveller was here with husband Flay McBee, Grav Ball player for the Tiberion Mountaincats Reg Hijler, and actors Yulin Piler, Sevay Trask and Gilla Itori were present. Heck, even Admiral Ackbar was here, as a personal guest of Mr T and Chuck Norris. Ackbar was overheard yelling "It's a trap!" a few times. Perhaps a bit too much spiked wildegrape juice?... There was much mirth from the press box of the Corporation after the loss by the Pit Viper. He is a tough customer, though, so do not count him out. I wonder who the other fighters that will round out the teams. Word has it that Hawyer Santori wants to start a promotion to rival the POFC. He is apparently testing talent here. Things are sure to heat up... Cypher is just awesome. He is a wizard on the ground. I am sure he will get a title shot soon... Euritar had a bad outing but not against a slouch. Kenji Yamashamito is probably THE best pure striker out there.... Gunnar may be back in the title picture with his win and the triumph of Mensar. Gunnar is a tough guy and fought a tough opponenet. He was of course attended by Jolly Lickings. clad (barely) in a very revealing dress. Ya'd figure that the Porn Princess would be able to afford something more.... I dunno... more? Well, I guess she IS used to being undressed.... Mesnar/ Rubicon was an awesome fight and cetainly a candidate for Fight of the Year. Those guys knocked the hell out of each other. Rubicon is a true warrior. He can certainly take a beating, that is for sure. He has been medically suspended for five months so he can properly heal. He will be back for certain....Mensar put on a heck of a performance. If he keeps fighting like he did and he keeps talking trash like he did, then he will be a company star. Mark my words!
KO of the Night: Kenji "Eclipse" Yamashamito with a roundhouse kick. Submission of the Night: Cypher with a twister Fight of the Night: Mensar defeats Rubicon via KO to win the Super HeavyWeight title.
POFC 13: Bleed For Me, will feature Thayne Sigurssen as he defends his belt against Pedro "The Stigma" Martinez.
This is Chris "Archon" McCloud, and we'll see you next time!

POFC 13: Bleed For Me
Prelims
Heavyweight Match: Absalom v Thed "Maelstrom" N'Krek Good match up here. Maelstrom survived an early scare and then pushed forward, landing heavy blows and several neck cranks on the ground. Absalom kept his cool and found a way to get back to his feet. It was during the exchange that Absolom caught the POFC newbie with a hard kick to the stomach, which left N'Krek gasping for air at 4:43. Impressive showing by both men.
Cruiserweight Match: Dante Santangello v Wanye "Amazing" Mann The woes of Wayne Mann continue. Dante proved just too much for the limber grappler. Dante controlled the fight striking and on the ground, surprisingly. Mann hung tough, but was finally KOed with hard right hand that dropped Mann like a sack of crap at 3:05. Good win for Dante, who had been floundering.
Main Card
Cruiserweight Match: "Lightening" Loki Laufeyson v Thad "TK" Killian Loki was announced as one of the fighters for Team Corporate. TK established control standing, maneuvering the smaller fighter into prime attack angles. Laufeyson was able to get the better of some exchanges, and was very good at defending takedowns. However, TK caught "Lightening" with a very nice fireman's carry and dropped the Team Corporate fighter on his head. Still dazed, Laufeyson was in no position or frame of mind to defend the bicep slicer, and tapped at 3:59.
Roe Jogan caught up with the winner: "So, TK, lead us through the end of the fight!" "And, so, we pass on by the crimson eye, of the great god Mars. As we travel through the Universe." "Uhhh... yeah... okay..."
Super HeavyWeight Match: Arcis "Manslaughter II" Tetrac v Silas Kharpetsev The debut of the son of GWF great Atys Tetrac, Arcis comes from the popluar "Second Generation" training camp led by Sean "Pulsar" Primeau. He may have been affected by big show jitters, though, because SIlas absolutely dominated Tetrac this match. Kharpetsev, by no means known for his striking ability, literally had Tetrac on the ropes several times early on the contest. The ref looked like almost stepped in to stop a mercy killing. Tetrac did manage to recover at about the 5 minute mark, and came full press with offense, hitting some big throws reminscent of his father. Silas, the crafty veteran, used his years of judo to reverse a slam into an nice foot sweep and figure foured an arm for victory at 7:13.
Roe Jogan caught up with Kharpetsev: "Silas, that was a beautiful whizzer you used to set up that leglock. What did you do to prepare for this fight?" "Da... I takes ome of de chicken dat is fried and vodka. Make me healthy, da? Ha ha!"
A commotion was noticed in the arena, and moving towards the ring. The arena was stunned to silence to see Koro "Rage" Taiaha, the GWf competitor, climb into the ring.
"Ah am 'ere! Ah wantsta fight, mahn! Ah do not be carin', mahn, for what de GEE Dubyoo Eff Co- missin- eer be sayin' about me not com'petin' her'! He do not be ownin' me, brudda! Ah come ta fight! Fiddy towsan', dis time, fiddy towsan' dullars, mahn! Who be it? Who is gonna chahllenge meh?"
The crowd waiting, and soon they heard a voice... a voice well repected by the POFC and their fans. The voice of Jack Hood!
"Well, now, boyo, I be seein' ya come on oot here, and challenge the fighters of me POFC. I admire what you be doin', to be sure. An' I tink to meself, I be sayin' "Self. what is a good Hood ta do?" An' I know the answer to dat particular query, to be sure! Selfm he be answerin' "Kick his ass back to the GWF!" "
Heavyweight Match: Jack Hood v Koro "Rage" Taiaha Oh boy, talk about fighting mad! Both of these two guys came at each other swinging. Rage took control early, getting Hood with a nice right so he could clinch and throw the sweeping hip he likes, and then stared some ground and pound! But our Hood is tough! He took a beating, and kept moving and looked for openings. Hood avoided several submissions, and got back to his feet and started to pound away. Hood pressed and knocked the Aethran down, where hood pounced, looking to end the fight. Rage , however is a more skilled ground combatant, and snuck in a knee bar on the poor unsuspecting Hood at 6:22.
Roe Jogan caught up with the Aethran: "Rage, what are you going to do about GWF Commisioner Massif? He said GWF athletes were not allowed to compete here any longer?" "Ah do not care a bit, mahn! Ah do not ansa' ta him, do you get what Ah do be sayin'? Ah ansa to de Meeneesta a Wahr on Aetra, Spike! An he be tellin' me dat Aetrans need to be doomohnatin' dis combat an' dis place, like we doomohnate all udders, mahn! Ah am her', an' Ah am stayin!'"
Heavyweight Match: Milahus "The Badgerer" Almedia v Ha' vel Tantalis" Limdo This match marks the first meeting between fighters from Team Corporate and Hawyer Santori's Freak Pantheon team. Almedia, from team Freak Pantheon and the son of former GWF tag great Incredible Badger, started off strong, using punches to set up leg shots, so he could take the fight to where he is most comfortable. Limdo, a blue skinned Twi' lek representing Team Corporate, fought well from his back, flipped the Badgerer over and began landing heavy fists and knees. Almedia got up to the clinch and scored a few nice slams, but was never able to keep the Corporate fighter down. Limdo was able to break away form the Pantheon fighter's grasp, and connected with several nice combos before getting the KO with a totally unexpected backward elbow strike. Time was 6:36.
Roe Jogan caught up with Limdo: "What the heck is wrong with your head? What the heck are those things?" " You should be aware, meatling, that I am highly skilled in arts of eliminating annoyances, especailly stealthily and subtley, yes?" "...."
Cruiserweight Title Match: Thayne Sigurssen v Pedro "The Stigma" Martinez
The fighters look at each other like the other said something bad about their momma. The ref completes his final instructions, and at the touch of gloves, Thayne reluctantly raises his. Martinez smirks; I'll bet he plans to use that disrespect as an impetus. Both men back in the corner, and the ref signals the title fight to begin!
Stigma rushes forward, landing some heavy leather. Thayne takes a hard shot on the chin, and falls against the ropes! He may be out... no he clinches and Stigma continues to pepper him with punches, knees to the body... big hip throw on the champ! Sigurssen is in trouble! Arm lock attempt by Martinez, but the champ gets his arm free. The challenger attempts a guillotine choke, but Thayne repays him with some elbows. Thayne slides into a kneebar! Stigma is able to push off and wiggle his leg out. He catches the champ as they move to re- engage and hits Thayne with a huge double leg slam. Thayne took that one on the head! Stigma moves in for a calf slicer, but the fighters are in the ropes, and falling outsde the ring! The ref calls for a break, but Stigma is not listening! The ref pulls the two men apart and orders both back to their corners. The ref admonishes Martinez for not breaking clean. I can now see that Thayne is limping a bit. That move may be the deciding factor- if he cannot plant that foot, Sigurssen's striking will not have the power he needs behind it. The ref checks with Thayne and the champ acknowledges he is ready to continue. Both men move toward the middle, and Stigma raises his glove to show respect, to which Thayne responds with a tap. Thayne is limping a bit. Stigma changes levels and steps inside for a ta..... HOLY CARP!!!! Thayne connects with a tremendous flying knee! Stigma is down, sprawled on the mat! He is out! He is out! He is out! He is out! Thayne literally ran right over him. OH MY GAWD!!!! What an ending! The replay shows that knee hit Martinez right in the temple! That is gonna hurt tomorrow! Holy Solaris!!!Time was 6:02.
Roe Jogan caught up with the Champion: " Thayne, was the limp all a ploy? Did you have Stigma walk into a master plot?" "Are you a total friggin' moron? Yeah, I'm limping 'cause the chicks dig it!" >sigh< "He is still out, isn't he?" Thayne turns to look at the still prone form of Stigma being tended to by medical staff. "Man that guy's skull hurt my knee. I keep on being the underdog and I keep on winning. Understand this: if you are across from me in the ring, you are in the way of my family eating- I cannot have that. This" he points at the still prone Stigma "will be the result."
Notes: Attendance: 30. 090... Wayne Mann, signed to a lucrative deal has not really proven to be worth what he is being paid. I expect his offer after his next (and last fight on his current contract) will be much less... Good win for Dante. The talented CW needed a strong performance to get back on the main card- perhpas this will do it. Hawyer Santori was visibly happy when Corporate team member Loki Laufeyson lost. He congratulated several aides as he watched the ref raise the hand of Thad Killian... Arcis Tetrac is a prospect, do not let the outcome of this fight fool you, at 20 years old he shows a great deal of potential.... Silas is a good hand, a dominating win like will move him up in the ranks... The ever game Jack Hood is a sentimental favorite, but he may have his best days past him. Hood will certainly have a hard time against the likes of a "Rage" Taiaha, who is in his early twenties with tons of potential. I am interested to see the fallout from allowing Rage to compete in the POFC in lieu of the GWF request not to.... The 'feud' between the Corporation and Hawyer Santori heated up as members from each team went head to head. The Corporation struck the first blow, but "The Badgerer" is a young guy with a lot of upswing.. Word has it that Freak Pantheon has gotten ahold of some big time fighters, especially one from a recent dimensional war.... Thayne/ Stigma was great. I really thought Stigma, probably one of the toughest guys in the POFC was going to take the fight, but then Thayne came back out of nowhere to land that horrific shot And Thayne is scary- especailly with his whole "my family needs to eat" shtick. The guy looks through you like you are not even there.
KO of the Night: Thayne via flyng knee over Stigma Submission of the Night: Silas via triangle arm lock over Arcis Tetrac Fight of the Night: Koro "Rage" Taiaha def Jack Hood via kneebar (fans went nuts to have Jack Hood step and especailly since he was winning most of the contest).
Chris "Archon" McCloud and we''ll see you next time!
