(Again the RAVAGER MOTHERSHIP would host the next phase in the Holy War. Nicodemus had decreed that from this point forward the Seconds battles would determine the location of the following battle. The Ancient further decreed that Ventross’ victory over Godsend gave the Ravagers a further advantage, one which Nicodemus took full advantage of. The Ravagers were the only faction in attendance in the arena: all other factions had been barred from the Mothership)
(The Ravagers stomped in slow unison as the young Neman appeared for his battle. Tonight Nicodemus had chosen for his opponent the primal Grovel)
BATTLE FOR STRATEGIC CONTROL:
NEMAN defeated ROUSER
- Neman slowly made his way to the ring, clearly enjoying the support he was receiving on his way to the ring. Once inside the ring, Rouser acted quickly to silence the crowd with a swinging forearm & successive piledrivers leaving Neman hurt badly. 2 Elbow Missile Drops & a Colonizer Claw Grip put Rouser in position to get the easy win, but somehow Neman continued to escape. Neman surprised everyone with back-to-back Fusion Bombs to turn the match in his favor & finished with a reverse DDT for the huge comeback win.
RAVAGERS MAINTAIN STRATEGIC CONTROL OF THE NEXT BATTLE
(Neman looked shocked when his hand was raised in victory & the Ravagers awarded him with “NEMAN, NEMAN, NEMAN” chants. Neman struggled his way back up the ramp, limping all the way with a hand on his neck, & entered the back with a huge grin on his face)
(Camera cuts to Murdok’s Crusade chamber where we see Murdok flanked by Corporal Tek & Cremator ranting at Godsend. Murdok is pacing back & forth before Godsend)
Murdok (screaming): “The vision is gone demon! How can a vision be so clear one moment & gone the next?”
(Murdok doesn’t give Godsend a chance to answer)
Murdok (screaming): “The ESSENCE should be mine! Not that primal fop Paganax! Now that bastard Nicodemus has control of the battle plan & I shall not see the light of the ESSENCE again!”
(Godsend starts to speak but Murdok whirls on him)
Murdok (to Godsend): “It was you! I know it was you! I remember your voice in my mind now!”
(Murdok advances towards Godsend as Godsend backs away with his hands up)
Godsend: “If you remember my King I tried to change your mind on your decisions but you told me to hold my council. Do not lay blame for your actions at my feet. I did what was required of me.”
(Murdok stops for a moment in thought)
Murdok: “I remember well your words demon. Do not deign to tell me again of what you tried to do. Your role in this Crusade is that of my Second. You failed to bring the battle to Antilia.”
Godsend: “That I will assume responsibility for my King.”
Murdok: “Leave me now I must prepare to battle Aegis.”
(Resurrection & Godsend hesitate for a moment)
Murdok (screaming): “GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!”
(Murdok’s minions scamper from the chamber to allow their Master to ready himself)
(Again the Ravagers welcome one of their own into the arena with wild cheers & a slow, resonating stomp. The traitor made his way to the ring in utter silence. You could have heard a pin drop in the arena)
SECONDS MATCH:
RANKOR defeated VENTROSS
- Ventross worked quickly on beating Rankor into submission. The Ravager fans hooted in approval as each blow landed in succession, building slowly in resonance. After a series of Ravager Gut Busters & Centra Spinebusters, Rankor fell limply into the corner. When Ventross charged in, Rankor dove aside & Ventross slammed into the turnbuckle. Rankor nailed a front face DDT & found Ventross GUILTY OF TREASON three times before he submitted.
LOCATION OF THE NEXT BATTLE WILL BE ON PRIMUS
(The Ravager guards had to man the railing as Rankor left the ring. The arena was so incensed that Rankor might have been ripped into pieces if they could get their hands on him)
SHEPARD defeated CORPORAL TEK
- This one was quick & painless for Shepard. Shepard’s Antivirus, two Nomad Knee Drops & (+4) EXORCISM was all it took to finish Tek once & for all.
LANCE AT-LAS defeated GODSEND
- This one went back & forth for a very long time. Lance hit a flying head scissors & followed with a flying elbow smash for a nearfall. Godsend slipped out of the ring & turned the action when Lance went into the ringside steps. Godsend rolled him back inside for a cradle piledriver followed by a long Dextral Choke that wore Lance down. Godsend went for THE REALM ETERNAL & amazingly Lance kicked out. Godsend took the fight back out to the floor & Lance slipped away & pushed Godsend into the ringpost & dropped an elbow from the ring apron down to the floor. Lance rolled Godsend back inside & went for back-to-back MARS MANHANDLERS but it wasn’t enough, Godsend shook him off. Lance whipped him into the ropes & got kicked in the teeth when he went for a backdrop. Godsend hit a big slingshot catapult & followed with a cradle piledriver but didn’t go for the pin & instead tried to choke Lance on the ropes. Lance smashed Godsend’s head into the turnbuckle & hit an amazing flying head scissors for the huge win.
(Aegis waited in the ring & looked ready to fight. When Murdok appeared atop the ramp with Trisis at his side, Aegis lost it & charged up the ramp & speared Murdok to the ground. The Ravagers roared their approval of this bold attack. Trisis hesitated for a moment before dragging Aegis off Murdok by the back of his neck & slapping him across the face, drawing a furrow of blood with her nails. Aegis was stunned & Murdok took advantage with an Antilian Atomic Drop followed by a Murdok Power Bomb onto the ramp. Murdok slowly drug Aegis down the ramp & hurled him into the ring, kissed his Queen lightly, & hit the rising Aegis in the ring with a Head Spear Takedown to start the match)
MURDOK defeated AEGIS
- Murdok continued inside the ring the massacre that he began at the top of the ramp. Two more Head Spear Takedowns, two more Murdok Power Bombs & POWER OF THE PLAGUE set up the big finish with CENTRA TAKEOVER.
(Aegis was unconscious by the end of the match. Murdok lingered dangerously over him for a brief moment before Trisis again caught his attention at ringside & he left Aegis with a final kick lying in the ring & left with his Queen in tow)
(Camera goes into the back where we see Nicodemus sitting in his command chair. Before him stands the SWAT Team holding the Tag ESSENCE)
Nicodemus: “Everything is going exactly how I envisioned. Soon all of the ESSENCE will be ours.”
(Ventross enters slowly & kneels before Nicodemus)
Ventross: “I submit myself for punishment.”
Nicodemus (to SWAT Team): “Go now, bring the ESSENCE to victory. Destroy them.”
(Flatliner & Warfare salute Nicodemus & leave, taking the Tag ESSENCE with them to the ring. When they are gone Nicodemus continues)
Nicodemus: “You were overconfident Ventross. You were convinced that you had Rankor beaten & only had to finish him. You discovered that the treacherous dog fights viciously when cornered. Luckily for you this was not a matter of life & death for you. In battle, you would have died for that mistake. Remember that.”
Ventross: “I swear it.”
TAG-TEAM ESSENCE MATCH:
SWAT TEAM ( c ) defeated DARKNESS FALLS
- Krypt & Jakyll cut the ring in half on Warfare & battered him relentlessly. Jakyll hit several Predator Pounces & Krypt hit Kryptic Crackbacks & Death Valley Drivers before Jakyll added RED DAWN & Flatliner made the save. A Scavenger Slam & another RED DAWN & Warfare clung to life. Flatliner snuck in a blow on Krypt as he went into the ropes & gave Warfare the chance to hit a Centra Spinebuster to turn the match. Flatliner entered for a Systematic Suplex followed by an Electro Shot but refused to cover & pulled Krypt up off the mat. A Double Arm DDT and another opportunity to cover that Flatliner passed on. SHOCK & AWE & Jakyll made the save. Warfare came back in for a running spear takedown followed by a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker & again Jakyll dove in to make the save. Warfare drug Krypt back to his feet for THE BIG PAYBACK to secure the ESSENCE.
(The Ravagers exploded at the conclusion of the near 50 minute match. Flatliner & Warfare raised the Tag ESSENCE high into the air in salute to the Ravager Nation. Deafening stomps threatened to shake the arena roof from its bindings as the SWAT Team made their way from the arena. Nicodemus met them at the top of the ramp & saluted them both before making his way down to the ring for his match. The decibel level in the arena never faltered until the ESSENCE bearer Paganax emerged & then silence fell again)
ESSENCE TITLE MATCH: 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS
NICODEMUS defeated PAGANAX ( c )
FIRST FALL
- Nicodemus used everything in his arsenal in this one & Paganax did the same. Nicodemus hit a quick Fusion Bomb followed by NUCLEAR WINTER & Paganax came right back with Face Smothering, Primal Scream & PAGAN VOID. Both men circled & closed again & Paganax took control with a decimating chokeslam but took the fight out to the floor & lost control of the match when Nicodemus dropped a jawbreaker on his fishbowl. Back inside the ring Nicodemus added a torture rack drop & another NUCLEAR WINTER & scored the first fall.
SECOND FALL
- Losing the first fall only angered the Heathen Chief into action with a guillotine lariat followed by back-to-back-to-back Primal Screams to set up the PAGAN VOID for the quick end to the second fall.
THIRD FALL
- Again they circled each other looking for advantage & it was Nicodemus who threw caution to the wind & blitzed Paganax with a series of savatte kicks before dropping him with a Commander Clothesline. Paganax bounced right back up & came right back with another guillotine lariat followed by a Face Smothering. Nicodemus blocked a chop block & dropped a Fusion Bomb and an aCe crusher. Paganax slipped away to the floor & slammed Nicodemus first into the railing & then twice into the ringpost. Inside the ring Paganax was the first to go for his finisher with PAGAN VOID but Nicodemus no sold it on the way down & hit a torture rack drop instead. The Heathen Chief was in trouble at this point & the Ravagers knew it & came alive as their Commander poured on the offense with 3 charging lariats to put Paganax away.

(When Nicodemus put his hands upon the ESSENCE his steel blue eyes flared brightly. During that brief flare, a malicious smile was clearly evident within his helmet. It took only a moment for it to register with the Ravagers, but once it did the place exploded & the Ravagers flooded the ring to lift their Commander high into the air. The Ravagers were so intent on carrying their leader from the arena that not a single Ravager witnessed the battered form of Paganax push himself up from the mat with a smile so feral & dangerous that the lines of blood that ran from his fast healing cuts seemed insignificant)
