Damn right it is!
I may live in England and won't benefit in seeing this, but the sooner the US wakes up and understands what the rest of the world already knows: Football is the greatest of sports! Then the better it'll be.
Hmm, though I have to be a little concerned, when the US finally take to football properly, they could well become unstoppable. With such a large base of players to draw from, its well possible they could win the World Cup etc in short order.
Then again, the US doesn't currently dominate in Tennis, Golf etc. So maybe its an unfounded concern. Of course they'll always dominate in Baseball and American Football... but then nobody else really bothers to play them!!

I'm a Fan of the Beautiful Game no matter what and there is a following here, but this Sport I'm afraid will never be as Big as the NFL is here in America, but with crowds like they have in Seattle & Portland of the MLS they are on a good track... Well the 2011 EPL Season is off and running, I just watched Fulham vs. Aston Villa and it was for sure a game that saw neither side look together, but both Clubs have New Managers so it's a work in progress. I was pulling for Sunderland to beat Liverpool but a nice 1-1 draw I see in that game...

I really wonder if the US ever will get as passionate about soccer as we are about the NFL, NBA and MLB.
I mean, if anything was going to do that, it would have happened in 98. I mean, if a half-naked woman can't get soccer over in the US, I don't know what will.

There is passion but it's not as large as our Sports but if you happen to catch a Seattle Sounders FC game when they are Home on TV, you'll see what I think are the best American Soccer/Football fans to witness that passion. Infact I love the singing and passion in the Beautiful Game over our Sports any day, except for the passion we have here for our Buffalo Bandits indoor lacrosse team... Anyway, it's cool seeing just elevated to the EPL Norwich City draw with Wigan early today 1-1 going into half-time...

Lastnight I watched the New York Red Bulls draw 2-2 with the last place Chicago Fire and this draw could bite Red Bull in the backside if Houston wins today putting NYRB in 4th place. That means Houston is 3rd and this year only 3 teams from the Eastern Conference will make the playoffs, NYRB are not good at all...
West Brom vs. Man U coming up next, big game of Football on Sunday...

What a game on the pitch between West Brom & Man U, I thought after Rooney scoring a smooth goal Man U would rip West Brom, but it ended 2-1 in a very entertaining Football Game and after watching 2 EPL games this weekend, I'm hooked and happy to be following the game this season...

I'm not really sure if I've seen them much and I see here that Fox Soccer Plus has that Norwich City vs. Stoke City game on, but I don't get that channel...
