Arsenal is just flat out killing me so far this year...same thing as last year...they cannot hold a lead. I hope right now it is just becasue the team is getting used to playing with each other with all of the late transfers...but frustrating as all heck...

HUGE! Win for the Canaries 2-1 over Bolton in a good game, but Norwich City need to stop giving up Penalty Kicks in the game which they have 1 in each of their 5 games played, but it's great to see them Win... Arsenal is just flat out killing me so far this year...same thing as last year...they cannot hold a lead. I hope right now it is just becasue the team is getting used to playing with each other with all of the late transfers...but frustrating as all heck... Arsenal could be on the decline with them struggling and yes it could be they need to become a working unit but I think they lose in the next two games they'll be hurting really bad on the EPL Table...

I'm a Liverpool fan, have been for over 30 years. So irritated at the inability to win the league since 1990! They aren't even in Europe (first time since the ban on all English teams back in the 1980s).
I also follow my hometown team who are at the top of the Championship (last I looked). Hope they go up.
As far as European competition is concerned, Spanish team Barcelona are the very best. They owned Manchester United in last season's Champions League Final.

He is possibly facing a worldwide ban and a massive fine for his actions. They need to come down hard on him; make an example of him to prevent copycat behaviour.

64,140 people attended tonight's MLS game in Seattle as the Sounders defeated San Jose 2-1. Seattle's 3rd year expansion franchise continues to set attendance records.
This was Kasey Keller's retirement party even though Keller is still with the Sounders for their final two games plus the playoffs.

There is no crowd like the Seattle Sounders crowd in the MLS, the other teams & supporters that come close are Portland, Vancouver & Toronto. You can feel the energy coming out of your TV with the Sounders supporters, I couldn't imagine being their LIVE, it must be awesome stuff...

I am amazed at how well the Seattle Sounders do by leading the MLS in attendance for each of their 3 years in the league. Last year the average MLS game attendance was 16,000 fans but the average Sounders game attendance was over 36,000 fans. Plus they play in CenturyLink Field which is the loudest stadium in the NFL which means it is also really loud for Sounders games too. I got to see the Sounders once back in June of 2009. They went to a draw with DC United.

I know soccer takes a beating in the US from a general sports fans view, but crowds like in Seattle prove there are fans who have a great passion for the sport and I know even when the Sounders were in the USL their fans were passionate and now there are more of them...

Impressive. Perhaps there's hope for soccer in the U.S.
