Myself, I use a spiral notebook. Roughly 100-200 pages. I also have seperate notebooks for my LWF and WWF feds respectively.
I tried using MS Word at one point, but didn't like the hassle. Although it looks ten-times nicer on the computer...

If your talking win/loss record I use a formula I made on spreadsheet to track wins/losses/title wins etc. with a ranking system that put the wrestlers in ranking form. If your talking about just plan recording matches, old school pen and paper.

I use pen and paper to record results, and then I type them up on a computer so that I can print them off to keep in a binder - so that I can always go back and re-live my feds history.
Plus it does not hurt to have a digital backup in case the dredded "cat (other animal or clumbsy you) knocks drink over onto results" book/paper occurs.

I use the COTGOnline Stat Tracker, along with a binder with a hardcopy...just in case.

I will use the old notebook and an excel worksheet. BTW..one of the choices should have been BOTH (notebook and computer program)

I use a notebook for some stuff I do, but mostly these days I just take notes as I'm playing and type up the results to post.
I have a spread sheet for the win-loss stats, title history, etc.

I have a spread sheet for the win-loss stats, title history, etc. I used to do detailed accounts in my note book, but I jot down basic "cliff notes" now in my notebook, just to remind me of what to type up later.

I use the Microsoft Works spreadsheet to keep track of my fed. Of course the only problem I have with that is that when I go to sort the rankings, I can only sort by a maximum of 3 criteria, since it only allows sorting by 3 fields. Therefore, I'm my rankings go by the following criteria:
1. Total Wins (in descending order) 2. Total Wins by Finisher (in descending order) 3. Total wins by pinfall/submission (in descending order)
If you think about it, it's a pretty good system. You give the title matches to those with the highest total of wins, and if there are any ties, then the higher ranking goes to the wrestler or team with the better "quality" of wins (Finisher wins over normal pinfall/submission wins). It may not seem fair because wrestlers and teams who've been with a promotion longer than new arrivals will be the ones getting the title matches, while the "younger talent" is stuck near the bottom of the rank hoping one day to work their way up to main event status, but for now, it's the best I can come up with.
