Got a PS3 and even though we don't have loads of time to play, my wife and I enjoy playing together. I also love that it is a Blu-Ray player as well. I am a HUGE horror fan and Carpenter's The Thing (for example) looks freaking amazing on Blu-Ray on the new HD TV.

My friend has a Wii and I play against him and his son (who kick both our butts regularly) and it is a lot of fun to play with a bunch of people. We played Family Game Night over February break one night and we were all hollowing with laughter the whole time.

My first console after my gamecube was was the wii, my family went with the wii because it played all our game cube games. My wife's work gave us an xbox 360 for a bonus and it has been xbox for us all the way. We use both systems still and have fun with both.

Being a certified geek I have all three major consoles!
The best for games is the Xbox, no contest.
Love the PS3 for the quality bluray though.

I must say that after being a sony fanboy for years and years, I finally got a 360 and haven't played my ps3 since. The loading times are soo much faster.
Hopefully, the 720, Loop or whatever the next gen will be called, will not have any red ring of death-itis.

I have a 360, and anyone who wants can add my gamertag, PM and I'll send it your way. I play mostly sports games (NHL Series, Tiger Woods, WWE Games). I also love Dragon Age & the new Batman Arkham Series.

Well...what did you decide on? Today I bought a PS3. I finally mostly paid off the new TV I bought last year from Best Buy, so I used my Best Buy card today to get a PS3 and a couple of games (WWE 12 and Batman Arkham City.) I put alot of thought into it and I ultimately chose a PS3 because I had a Play Station in the past and I personally really enjoyed it and, as Matt and others said, a PS3 also gives me a Blu-Ray too. Thanks again to everyone who offered me advice here. Now I am going to play my new games.  |
