At the show in Philly last Sunday CHIKARA announced that this November, they would host their historic very first ever IPPV! I believe this is the last show of the season, so it's gonna be HUGE! Major props to CHIKARA for continuing to grow their company. If CHIKARA ever lands a TV deal (and I think they will) they could really blow up. I believe it's the best fed out there for kids/fam friendly audiences. I can't think of anything better than a Saturday/Sunday morning (or evening) CHIKARA show on TV. How awesome would that be? These IPPV's are a heck of a good start.

I was just saying that yesterday that CHIKARA Saturday Mornings would be awesome. Heck, you could even put it on Cartoon Network Saturday night or something. Give Kaiju Big Battel a TV time too and there is two to four hours of comedy, family friendly wrestling gold! They have great wrestling so the hardcore smarks will watch. They have great storylines. They have colorful characters that kids can enjoy. The good guys are really good and the bad guys are really bad. AND (probably best of all) the fans at the shows actually abide by the "family friendly" atmosphere, no "Holy Sh**" chants, no "You f***ed up" chants like at WWE shows...or even ROH shows.

I totally agree with you here. CHIKARA would be a great fit for something like Cartoon Network and it would be great to have Saturday morning wrestling back. Would love to see that happen but the iPPV is a nice big step so good for them.

That could definitely work if marketed right.... more like Dragonball Z than WWE, you know?

Would love to see Chikara on TV regularly. Cartoon Network or Adult Swim could work, but I could also see a network like The Hub would be a good fit.
Unfortunately I will be missing the iPPV. Not only live, but I wont be able to atch online, as I'll be at Disney World. I will be trying my best to avoid spoilers and will be getting the show when I get home the next night. Cant wait!
FYI, the show is the season finale. But there will be a post-season event...Joshimania in December.

Mmm, I'm debating between making that three hour drive to Philly (and three+ hours because I have to drop my brother off), or just watching it in the comfort of my living room without the travel.

I'm debating whether to watch it later that night at my hotel in Disney or avoiding a fight with the wife and just waiting until I get home from Orlando. Either way...please no one text me spoilers.
