Tony Romo has been named Detroit Lions Player of the Week. yeah, he did throw 3 interceptions 2 of which were returned for touchdowns (one of which was by Carpenter, the groomsman in Romo's wedding this past summer. ;D)

Detroit are the comeback kids and Tony Uh-Oh of Dallas honestly sucks no matter who he plays or even if he's hurt...

This is why you can't go by stats to judge a game. Looking at the stats, you would think the Bears won the game. TOP, Total yards and turnovers all in favor of Da Bears. And then there is watching the game.
Admittedly, the Tigers/Rangers game screwed up my ability to watch MNF. Had to watch Terranova and House. But I kept flipping to teh game and here comes my big rant.
[rant] JOB NUMBER FRIGGIN ONE for a coach is to adapt during a game. Omilaye was getting killed on the right side ALL GAME. Do they keep a TE over there to help block. NOPE! Do they put someone else over there. Yep....in the 4th fugging quarter. The fourth quarter is when you decided to do this? 24-10 is when you decided to do this? Mike Martz is killing my team. Now admittedly, Cutler holds the ball too long sometimes. But still, 92% of the time he is getting hit is because of poor O-Line play. Ugh.[/rant]
Great win for the D. Hopefully they can stay undefeated until Turkey Day. That would be epic!

Good, hard-fought, division W last night for the Lions against a Bears team that had beaten them 6 straight times in a row. Stafford and Megatron are the top 1-2 punch in the NFL right now. The defense looks capable of keeping the Lions in every game this year. Stat of the year so far - The Lions D has allowed only 16 points in the 2nd half all season long. And 10 of those 16 were to Dallas. That means they've allowed a grand total of 6 points in the 2nd half in 4 games vs. the Bears, Vikes, Chiefs and Bucs. That is a mind blowing stat. Last night Fairley debuted and we got a taste of what he can do which so far looks a lot like things Suh does. The rest of the D-line are like crazed dogs out there. Vandenbosch, Avril, Young - a 7th round pick with 2 game finishing sacks two weeks in a row, are all over the place. Even former cast-off Bobby Carpenter is playing like a stud right now. Next week it's the upstart Niners, and despite their record, I think the Lions will be about 6.5 point favorites against them too. The Niners look great so far with Harbaugh but I just cannot imagine Alex Smith having a good game with Suh, Fairley and the rest of that D line chasing him around all day.

Damn! Good for Lion fans! I'll admit I'm pissed the Tigers beat the Yankees, but Detroit fans deserve a winning baseball and football team.

It's nice to be able to wear Lions merchandise in public again without people wanting to hug you because they feel so sorry for you.
It was also nice to see that sea of blue and silver on Monday night and they were HAPPY!!!
I've been a Lions fan for about 20 years (you know, since that year they made it to the NFC Title Game). This has been a long time coming. Hope it continues!

The loss to San Fran is a Win Win for both teams in that this boosts the 49rs who are shocking the league and Detroit now with a loss can learn and improve from their mistakes. Jim Harbaugh & Jim Schwarts ending to the game was like two bulls locking horns and you've got to love the enthusiasm & passion of Harbaugh's and the same for Schwarts...
