With the horrible LeShoure news, I'm officially starting the "Bring Sticky to the D" campaign. With all the new relaxed marijuana laws around here, it's a perfect fit. Sticky Ricky has fresh legs from vacationing in Amsterdam all those years, and sharing the load with Ronnie B in Miami. Let's do it Mayhew!

Lions beating the stripes off the Bengals tonight. 34-3 as time winds down. Our QB's went nuts. Stafford 6/7 2 TD's
Rookie QB Andy Dalton's 1st NFL throw was a INT caused by Suh pressure. Suh was later flagged for ripping Dalton's helmet off Delhomme style.
Just pre-season, but hell of a start fans

I liked it. Preseason or not, for the first time in a long time, we saw a Lions team that looked like a) they cared b) they believed.

Yes, I know it's "just preseason" but seeing the Lions kick. the. living. shit. out of New England all night was amazing.
STRONG!
Hey, us lowly Lions fans don't have a lot of highlights so we'll take them when we get them. Tom Brady is one of my top 3 favorite players of all time, but Good Lord, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was cheering my ass off as Suh and Silver Crush planted him all over Ford Field last night.
GO LIONS!!!!!

The sad state of the NFL: Now Suh is being called "dirty".
Anybody who thinks Suh is dirty never saw Jack Hamm, Too Tall Jones etc play football.

The sad state of the NFL: Now Suh is being called "dirty". Anybody who thinks Suh is dirty never saw Jack Hamm, Too Tall Jones etc play football. On ESPN's SportsNation they asked if Suh was Dirty and the Poll results favored "No He Isnt Dirty", but his reputation as a quote dirty player will grow in the eye's of the league once they start to fine him this season for what the NFL officials consider dirty tackles. I think no matter what, the NFL will still be called the No Fun League in certain area's of it's product...

This is going to sound like homerism but I think Suh will be fine once the refs get used to him and his style. Quite literally, there is NO ONE ELSE in the NFL like him. No reference for these refs. Look at last vs. Bears. He pushed Cutler and Baby Jay face planted harder than Shockmaster. Suh got flagged for that. Then the league came out and said it was a bad call. Refs don't want to be blowing calls so I don't think they'll be as quick to flag him when he's crushing people. He isn't a dirty player at all, and that seems to the majority opinion this week across the NFL.
Now Nick Fairley is a different story. Just wait until he starts playing. He's a dirty player (or at least was in college, youtube him...) He's also a super force at DT like Suh. Heads are gonna roll.
