Watched the Texans game with my 15-year-old son. Had to be at work at 5 AM ON Monday. Thought about going to sleep at the half but wanted to teach my son about never giving up. Watched until the end. Honked the car horn and did not give one sh** about it (although we kept it shorter than our usual daytime celebrations, LOL). WHAT A FINISH! I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! ROAR!!!

Well, another nail biter but our boys pulled it out in the end. We just keep on rolling.
However, it is not all rainbow sprinkle pooping unicorns for the Lions. Alex Anzalone has a broken forearm and is set to miss 6-8 weeks. That could end up being huge. We already are a bit thin at LB, although Houston can move from DL back to LB with the trade for Smith and other DL guys getting healthy. But more than that, Alex is the heart and soul of the LB core. He flies all over the field and does a lot. Our 1st round pick from last year, Jack Campbell, has made big strides from his rookie campaign and can help cover the loss as can Branch. I guess the positive is Alex should be back in time for the playoffs. Here we roar Lions, here we roar. #OnePride

A setback for our D as Ifeatu Melifonwu was put back on IR. No real info on what is going on but hopefully he misses 4 games and comes back ready to roll. If not that, then back healthy for next year. A small bit of good news is CB Emmanuel Moseley was a full participant in practice today. He has been a bust since signing with us last year as missed all season due to injury and then we resigned him for this year and got hurt missing all of this year so far. At this point maybe he can help on special teams and just give some depth at the CB position so in big wins he can give our starters a rest.
