WR is facing a 2 game suspension for violating the NFLs PED policy. He is not what I would call a bust but he's not living up to the price we paid for him.

A bit of good news for the Lions. The Titans, our opponents this Sunday, traded Hopkins to KC. Now, he is not the same old Hopkins this year but he is still a threat and that is one less weapon the Titans will have.
However, I recently asked about Devin White and the Texans, who we play in a few weeks, signed him. So, he might come back to hurt us. Then again Philly cut him and he has been sitting there so who knows.

Former Lions WR, he signed with Denver in the off season, Josh Reynolds was shot last Friday while in Denver. He and some friends were at a strip club and left around 2:45 AM. Sounds like he might be lucky to be alive as he was shot twice, and one was in the back of his head.

With the talk of the Lions maybe trading for DL help I checked their picks for next couple years. We have no 3rd round pick next year and no 7th round in 2026. Next year a few later rounds we traded our pick but picked up someone else's in the same round. I see Holmes being very careful on any trade. Over the next few years, we will need some help on the O-line, guards and center, and maybe help on the D line, LBs and another TE. Otherwise, we are set for the next few years and most positions.

Thank you, Stafford and Rams. Beating the Vikings is a big help. I do feel a bit bad for the Vikings as they got hosed on that non-call on the facemask.

Well Josh Paschal has been ruled out for Sunday's game. We drafted him in the 2nd, and it looks like we over paid. He has been decent when on the field but that is the issue. He has not been on a lot. 22 games over first couple seasons. With Hutch out he has a great opportunity to really shine. Hopefully this is just a one game thing. We can get by without him against the Titans but could use him against the Packers next week.

I had a good laugh last night. A betting "expert" on ESPN's site last night said to take the under for Lions score as the over/under was 27.5 points. I was like "They will score at least 28 against the Titans". Hell, they hit the over by halftime. I knew the Titans offense was not good and that their defense was not much better even if they were better than it seemed which was the expert's argument. I just did not realize their special teams were so terrible. A long kickoff return for us, two long punt returns including one for a TD and the Titans punter has a net putting average on 6 punts of under 20 yards. Go Lions! #OnePride

I loaded up on Lions for fantasy this week. Got the Defence, Jake Bates and Jahmyr Gibbs all in my line up. Had LaPorta as well, but he is on my bench as I started Tucker Kraft from the Packers instead at TE! Mad that a so-called expert didn't see over 27.5 points!!

I liked how the commentators took pity on the Titans and said "The Lions were in the same boat 3 years ago". Yup, we sure were, and look how far we've come!
On that note, why in the F didn't we put Hooker in at halftime? Why in the F didn't we pull ALL the starters at the start of the 4th quarter? Playing with fire. Yes, I know how cooky this sounds for a Lions fan to ask these questions, LOL.
ONTO GREEN BAY!!! FTP!!! FTP!!!

It is a long season and need to keep in rhythm especially seeing who our opponent is next week. The Fox guys, started by Terry, said they were surprised that Goff was in as long as he was with a bad ankle. I understand that. But playing Devil's advocate, I say would pulling him earlier helped it heal that much? I doubt it. Not an extra half hour or so off his foot. I think what they were doing was getting Goff reps on his ankle to have a better idea of what he can and cannot do so if he is still dealing with it, they are prepared. Best to find out in a game you are in control of than in a possible tight division game you need to win more. Beyond that, when you have an opponent down you should not let up to early. They set a message this week. All I have been hearing about is all the exciting games this week that went down to the wire. Our game did not do that. <evil grin>
