I'm looking forward to the reboot / de-aging of DC Comics Universe. The big storyline behind the reboot is Flashpoint, in which Barry Allen tries to reset the changes made by the Reverse Flash. Under this premise I am looking forward to the reboot. As for the comics themselves I am getting all 52 #1's and will be keeping about 20 or so as monthly titles. Among them are all the Bat-books & Lantern Books, plus Green Arrow, JLA & JLI and few other titles. I've been reading DC on and off (mostly on) since the 80's and I was beginning to picture Batman as a man in mid to late 50's. My biggest disappointment is Dick Grayson once again becoming Nightwing in the reboot. I was loving him as Batman, but it will only be a matter of time before Grayson once again wears the cowl of the Bat

I'm going to get the Flashpoint Secret Seven 3 issue tie-in so I have that background leading to the JLD first issue. It'll be fun reading an Official DCU Book again, I've only been reading the Cartoon inspired Batman the Brave and the Bold comic book...

It was after MUCH debate that I decided to get the entire 52 issues. I figure I can stretch the purchase over a couple of months, as the majority of titles are only going to be the first issue, which will help the finances over the month of September....lol

I have been collecting Dc titles for around 32 years, and I have seen many reboots over the years. I will collect the same DC titles I have over the years and I will give a few more a 6 month trial if they are good I will keep them, if not they will be dropped. I can see more then half the titles being cut within 2 years.

Maybe they should have killed off almost everyone during the 'Crisis'? And just start over that way.

I just read issues 1, 2 & 3 of Flashpoint Secret Seven and I really enjoyed the story arc that was told involving Enchantress & Shade, the Changing Man and I'm excited to see how issue 1 of Justice League Dark presents this New team...

The new Justice League number one has sold out in first and second printings, and is now going into a third printing----just two days after release. Batgirl number one and Action Comics number one have also already sold out at the distributor level and are going into second printings----before they actually hit store shelves next week.
I'd say they knew what they were doing to jumpstart sales.

I'm very interested in Justice League Dark and I might even try-out Batwing the first African Batman, which sounds interesting to me...

Justice League #1 cost $4 and I read it in about 9 minutes. It was pretty bland and a bad start for the new DCU.

As someone who hasn't read anything in non-TPB form in ages, I enjoyed the 'intro' that JLA #1 gave new readers. However, I hope we eventually get some stand alone stories featuring every team member. They need to get the team together ASAP to keep new fans reading, I think. I loved the dialogue and emotion, but I could see where many may think it was slow/nothing special. Lastly, I think the price was much for a digital copy!
