Believe it or not I've never seen these movies (volume 1 and 2) before this weekend. Now that I have I gotta say, I was blown away. I was into this movie much in the same way I get into Sons of Anarchy. Lots of great violence, smart characters, colorful in every way.
Go Go was probably my favorite character while the fight scene between the Bride and Elle was freaking SICK!
5 stars. Prob going to buy them both on DVD.

Excellent movies! Although I enjoyed part 1 more than part 2. The battle at the end of Part 1 was one of my favorite fight scenes in any movie.

Absolutely agree...
Don't know if #1 is the best action movie...but it's close to the top.

Yeah I really liked Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2 alot and I own both movies on DVD.
I am glad they decided to split the movie into 2 parts instead of making it a 4 hour movie (especially since I saw both Volumes in the theater) or making Tarrantino cut out parts of the movie.
I remember there are plans for a possible 3rd Kill Bill movie involving the daughter of Vivica A. Fox's character seeking revenge for her mother's death once that girl is old enough to do so.

I know I am in the minority here but I just didn't care for these movies. I will fully admit that I am not a Tarrantino fan but I don't go into movies looking to pick them apart either. The action is good in it but IMO Tarrantino tends to get bogged down in extended conversations on screen with nothing else really going on.
I may give this another chance some day as it seems like something I should like but it may be a while before I devote 4 hours to movies I already gave a shot.
