Seahawks 17, Eagles 9!
I was especially encouraged seeing Rashaad Penny's breakout game today with a career high 129 rushing yards. Penny, last year's first round pick, had not really done much to justify being picked in the first round up until now so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
Now if we can just get this year's first round pick, L.J. Collier, going. I know Collier was injured to start the season and he is having trouble getting on the field at his position, but only 2 tackles so far still makes him a bust of a first round pick up to this point.
I was also pleased by how well our defense played without Jadeveon Clowney. Hopefully Clowney is able to return for the Monday Night game next week vs Minnesota.
The Eagles did score a touchdown in the final minute to make this a 1 score game, but overall Philadelphia today really did not look like a team that won the Super Bowl just two years ago.
Seahawks improve to 9-2. Tonight I will be watching Survivor Series, but I will also periodically check out the score for Green Bay/San Francisco. If Green Bay wins tonight, the Seahawks take over first place in their division and the #2 seed in the NFC (New Orleans would have the tie breaker because the Saints gave the Seahawks 1 of their 2 losses this year.)

Seahawks 37, Eagles 30! tor After a very lackluster/disappointing game against the Rams last week, the Seahawks held of a Panthers comeback to win today.
Seahawks finish at 7-1 on the road (very impressive to go 7-1 on the road in the NFL) and play their next two games at home against the Cardinals and the 49ers. Since the Seahawks did defeat the 49ers earlier this year (1 of their 7 road victories,) they will win the NFC West if they win their next two games.

Yeah, that Falcons victory was huge for the Seahawks. It's likely going down to the wire for 1st place in the NFC.

Yeah, that Falcons victory was huge for the Seahawks. It's likely going down to the wire for 1st place in the NFC. It literally will. Seahawks vs Niners is week 17 and in all likelihood will be flexed to the Sunday night game, especially now with the Texans beating the Titans yesterday and making that week 17 game most likely meaningless for the Texans unless they lose to the Bucs and the Titans beat the Saints next week.

Looking at the NFL schedule on ESPN and looks like there isn't a Sunday night game for Week 17?
