I am reading "IS Wrestling Fixed? I didn't know it was broken!" by the great Bill Apter. A fun read that I picked up from the main himself at King of Trios. What a treat meet nd talk with him a bunch that day.

What a treat meet nd talk with him a bunch that day. I read this when it came out. Was quite disappointed with it. 'Wonderful Willy' likes to spin a good tale though. Seeing as Apter is in the game, imagine a 'Wonderful Willy' card with a Championship Office Wrestling belt?!

I liked the Apter book but I thought it was really disorganized. The Pat Patterson one that came out recently was kind of a letdown. Anyone read the Dick the Bruiser book?

Currently reading James Lovegrove's "Age of Shiva." This is part of his Pantheon series, but there's no order or anything to read them. They aren't interconnected just under the same umbrella.
I've really liked all of these books and just saw there is a new one I'll have to get sometime.
The Age of Ra The Age of Zeus The Age of Odin The Age of Aztec The Age of Voodoo The Age of Godpunk The Age of Heroes

I haven't read alot lately, but one book I recently read was The Girl on the Train. The book was good, much better than the movie which IMO gave the killer away really early (but neither the book or the movie were as good as the book or movie for Gone Girl.)
on a side note, about movies, I saw Doctor Strange on Friday night. It was really good and you should definitely see it in IMAX (or at least in 3D.)

I was recently gifted Loose Balls by Terry Pluto, a book about the wild history of the ABA. The book is a lot of fun.

Terry Pluto is a really good writer -- I have a number of his books. "Loose Balls" is a great read!

I switched and started reading "Star Wars Death Star" by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry. It's the story from the Empire's side on everything leading up to and the building of the Death Star. Figured it'd be a good one to read ahead of the movie Star Wars Rogue One next month. Then I will go back to Age of Shiva.
