Just finished Champion of the World by Chad Dundas. It's a pretty good read that takes place during the golden age of wrestling.

It's presented as real for the most part although the characters acknowledge that a lot of matches are fixed. The guy who wrote it talks about being a lifelong wrestling fan in the afterword. Lots of real wrestlers like Frank Gotch are mentioned although the wrestling characters are fictitious. Here's my review on Goodreads. There are some mild spoilers but nothing that isn't on the back flap of the book: www.goodreads.com/review/show/1732087964?type=review#rating_102301264

Reading The Watsons Go To Birmingham- 1963 with my class
One of the chapters is Bobo Brazil v The Sheik, though not making an appearnce, seeing the Legends names in a book shows how important Bobo and wrestling was to the country back in the day.

Finished my friend Mur Lafferty's book SIX WAKES. It was fantastic! It's a 'locked room' murder mystery in space. Pretty amazing. Highly recommended.
I'm currently reading CREATIVITY, INC by Ed Catmull. I picked it up after I was in Norther California shooting a commercial and got to get a tour of Pixar. The tour left such an incredible impression on my, and this book was discussed while we were there, that I knew it had to be the next book I read. About halfway through and it's great. I've already highlighted a bunch of sections. A great read about making a business of creativity.

The kids love the cover!
