Finished The Squared Circle by David Shoemaker and Tales from the Darkside: Scripts by Joe Hill. I am nearly done with The Best in the World....At What I Have No Idea by Chris Jericho (this is his 3rd book).

I finished Mad Dog: The Maurice Vachon story this morning. It was on the good side of average for a wrestling book.

I've begun American Gods by Neil Gaiman as I like the first episode of the show so much I wanted to check out the book. So far so good.

I bought Stephen King's "11/22/63" several days ago. It's 849 pages long!
It's about a teacher that goes back in time to try to stop Oswald in Dallas on that fateful day. I've gotten about 120 pages in, and it's pretty good so far!
Hulu made it into a series with James Franco. I hear it's a lot like the book, so that's good!
I've always been fascinated by the subject matter. The only thing that bothers me is there was a TV movie in the early '90s with Robert Hays (from "Airplane"), and he pretty much tries to do the same thing! Luckily, the book is different from the TV movie in many ways, so yeah.
Here's a look at the Hulu series:

I bought Stephen King's "11/22/63" several days ago. It's 849 pages long! I liked this one a lot. Β It was the first by Stephen King I'd read in some time and it was great. Β The Hulu adaptation was good, but the book is great. I pretty much devour anything by Stephen King - a pure storyteller... 11/22/63 is one of my favorites... Something I complain about often with King is that sometimes his endings are nowhere near as strong as the rest of the book... In fact, quite often it seems like he doesn't want (or know how) to wrap up his stories, so he just slaps on an ending when he feels like the time is right... This cannot be said about 11/22/63 - Spectacular ending! The TV series was excellent as well, imo... And remained quite true to the written material... Would recommend both highly, but suggest reading the book first.

I'm not a great King fan but I do enjoy that book. Has a very interesting ending IMO.
