A good game over Pittsburgh for the Sabres after losing to the Canes the night before. It's really cool seeing the Red Winga @ 4-0 to start the early season, but not the Capitals who I dislike the most in all of the NHL... Interesting alignments, if the NHL does realign they should shake things up a bit...

Yeah, reading the proposed alignments and got a tear seeing the Norris Division.

A really good early start for the Sabres, they defeated Florida 3-0 in a fun game and Buffalo is now 5-1-0. Man it looks like the Cap's at 6-0-0 are going to be a force once again in the NHL, hope they'll choke...

The Blackhawks look really good as well. Can't wait for the first Hawks/Wings game.

Biggest thing about the Washington Capitals is they are a fantastic regular season team, but they can't get the job done come playoff time. When they can finally shed that moniker they will be a true force in the NHL.
Sucks that the reborn Jets are off to such a horrible start, but on the bright side they aren't the Columbus Blue Jackets.

I was watching my beloved Blues beat the Flyers, I did keep flipping over to the Caps/Wings game. I love have the sports package. I like watching just totally random teams play. Might even try watching an NFL game today.

It was good for us Sabres fans that Buffalo defeated Columbus at home lastnight. Buffalo losing two back-to-back games versus Tampa sucked, but Tampa has been a thorn in the side of Buffalo since the NHL cameback from the most recent lockout...
Wow! I know the Texas Rangers were playing in the WS lastnight, but the Dallas Stars only had 8,443 people in the building. I'm not sure if the Stars attendance is no longer that good, but 45% filled is a bad sign even with the Rangers in the World Series...
I'm not sure if Time Warner is running a Free viewing of the NHL Network, but I watched some of it to see the highlights and they have a great highlight show. I have to say I like Nashville's yellow jersey, pretty cool and Wow! the Jets win 9-8 over Philly...

Not sure about Time Warner; but I know that on Brighthouse the NHL Network is part of the sports package that is an extra 7 bucks a month. Thought about getting it. I'm pretty sure that TW and Brighthouse are the same.

I'm pretty sure that TW and Brighthouse are the same. Yeah it is part of the Sports package deal, so I'm guessing it's a free preview...
