Justin, which AOM do you want to use for the tourney?

BDS, there is only one AOM. He got a little boost in stats once colored (as did everyone in that set) but for all intents and purposes, there is only one.
I hope you get to 16 people but if not I'll be happy to help out by taking a second wrestler.
One question - is the token carry-over a time restraint issue? I feel like round 3 it's going to be one gigantic hot mess with guys starting matches with double digit pins, losing in only seconds.

I'm with Rob here on the token carry over. We use the official rules and such which is fine, but like at G-Con, our tokens don't carry over. I'd like to see them reset as well. If it's a time restraint issue, then I can understand.

AOM - There are two. Yeah, they're virtually identical, but for the purposes of the tourney, I need to know which one.
Tokens - No real reason for it other than that's how I want to do this one.

I feel like that really destroys the integrity of each character, possibly ruining whatever it is you are trying to test/gauge. At some point very early on in the tournament you're pretty much asking for a random coin flip where neither the wrestler or person controlling them factors into the test at all. Not to mention it kinda jacks the people playing. I wouldn't want to lose or win because we rolled over tokens and the thing turned more into "first person to roll PIN loses" than an actual match. Just my angle on it. I want to help test this thing but I want to have fun doing it too. Seems foreign and awkward to test something using a technique that would never actually happen in the game.

I am withdrawing from the tournament due to the time constraints from work. I have let BDS know, so The Guardian is back on the market.

I feel like that really destroys the integrity of each character, possibly ruining whatever it is you are trying to test/gauge. Fortunately, we're not testing the mechanics of the characters, but rather the mechanics of tourney signups and day/time combinations; I've got a pretty good handle on how the character mechanics work at this point, but not so on when is the best day and time to regularly run a tournament. We plan on running one of these tournaments at least monthly, with different themes and rulesets for each tournament; what happens this month isn't indicative of what will happen next month. Seems foreign and awkward to test something using a technique that would never actually happen in the game. What seems foreign and awkward to you is what other people have done when running tournaments since the age of twelve. Po-tay-to, po-tah-to. If you don't think you'd have fun with this format, I'm sure another one will come along that will be more to your liking, as we plan to do this on a very regular basis.
