2123 Updates

Here are a few guys who I think need updates in 2123:

Vin Strutter- With Amazing Mann gone he should get a new back with something sneaky for his other team members.

Swarm- Since the introduction of Tricks he has been terrible for me. Plus with a lot of other getting updates he has been surpassed by a lot of the wrestlers IMO.

Scimitar- The guy has had to have learned something by now. Maybe add a Finisher.

Reckless- A better tag team card would leap Titan Glory

What does everyone else think?

I agree totally on Swarm! He should move up to be the new Wolf and maybe even take Wolf out of action once and for all.

Swarm definitely is near the top of my list. Maybe a more Outlaw-focused Valour?

Strutter makes perfect sense too -- because of the Mann stuff, and because he and his team desperately need a shot of new-ness.

Swarm is one of my favorite characters and needs an update for sure.

What about Tauran? Any chance he'll make the next step, errr, backwards?

Don't forget that the several COTGOnline characters have received minor updates over the last few years already. Now...

Strutter - has to make a move or he needs to go.

Swarm - seems to be the most deserving of an update out of the whole roster. Also got an Online bump up for 2121 which suggests even more that it will happen.

Gryt - Probably the one I'm most rooting for - I just like the guy. I think I'm in the minority there, but I like his attitude, look, and 'short-man' complex. Also got an online bump for 2122, but not quite sure he'll get a full upgrade with 2123.

Tauran - Is this his ceiling or will we see a younger 'prime' version of him. Seems like its gotta come soon. Got an online bump in 2120.

Mother Superior - Probably a lot less chance than those above, but her whole story arc is gonna blow open probably this year or next. When that happens she might be totally different.

Others -
Lorelei - Sorta like Tom's a bit uncertain what to do with her. The question of her 'age' has always bothered me. If she is going to stay, she definitely needs updated art. She got an Online downgrade in 2120, though. I think she's out soon
Muss and Bomb - Got a bit more interesting again with the Sultans of Swagger and a big feud against Divided We Fall. However, they aren't really on the level of DWF and need upgrades to maintain that feud. Doubtful. Maybe they stick around a bit longer since they just began the formation of a new group, but not much. They've been active since 2109 and should start a downslide if not disappear totally.
Payback - Well he's got one of the coolest cards ever in my opinion, but he hasn't changed in five years other than he got some different moves in 2121 for his online version. If he changes, I hope he becomes more interesting or at least stays at his current level.
Reckless and Tristan - Neither one has changed since they started plus they seemed to kept on the back shelf as far as storylines and feuds. Somethings gotta happen or bye-bye.

Since Tom will continue to keep the roster at a set level, it just becomes more and more likely that guys will leave after only a short time compared to old editions.

This has always bugged me as well. Now that Switchblade has slowed down and retired, how in the heck is his mother still wrestling!?!?!?!? Maybe their planet, they become fertile at 1!?!?

Swarm got a minor update on his Online card. His power was upgraded to a -1.

Well Switchblade didn't retire because he was old. His high impact style and injuries forced him into early retirement. But still I agree that something needs to be figured out with Lorelei, and her whole age thing.

I also agree with Jefft. I'd like to see a Gryt update. I really don't like him much, but if he's going to continue to tag with Tanck he needs the update.
