Tristan defiantely need an upgrade or something.. back in 2119 the booklet says he still wasn't fully healed from getting attacked by Betrayer (I think) and that's never been mentioned again.

As for Rage I believe Tom usually does the 4-5 year period for Gladiators due to the Cleansing, but there have been exceptions. I would also like to see him updated, and may start playing the card with the (pw) removed like it is online. I think this also means that Disaster may be due as his last cleansing was 2119 I believe.

here is another Id like to see happen or done.. Tristian should become a teammate for Vin's Circus and then he could be their acrobat guy Wow, very original idea. I really like it actually. True goody-goody Titan turning heel. Maybe he starts getting angry because his back won't get better and starts blaming his buds for not getting even or some such.

Upgrades are always talked about, but if everyone got upgrades there'd be no midcarders and below. Sometimes its just a completely different look and attitude. Maybe stats will change alot, but they don't really get better. Which guys should be downgraded?

Disaster has, at some point, got to be due for a downgrade or retirement. Wasn't that hinted two sets ago?

Maybe I'll get pilloried for the mere suggestion, but maybe Payback should be downgraded. He's obviously taking a toll on his body with his style. Possibly that could slow him down a bit.
I'd also think about downgrading Shann-Ra, much as it pains me to say it. She's been around for a while and can't really go up any higher. But the new drawing had better be as sweet as the first.

I think Payback getting downgraded makes alot of sense.. or maybe even more of a lateral change, with a more conservative style, depending on what direction the character is going in.
Bloodline and Encubus both getting a downgrade, and maybe specalizing a bit seems like a good idea.. they've both been around 10+ years, right?
I might be interesting story-wise to downgrade one of the 2nd realm guys (I'd pick Reckless).. having a being not used to having a body have said body start to break down has alot of possibilities.
While I agree it seems some of the women have been around a while, I'm not sure I'd really want several cards devoted to them, so while it makes logical sense I'd pass there (Shann-Ra and Phantasy at least could use it)

Disaster has, at some point, got to be due for a downgrade or retirement. Wasn't that hinted two sets ago? I had thought about that a couple times before also. This year would be his tenth year overall. He got a cleansing in 2118 so 2123 would be 5 years, but there's no guarantee he'd get another one. I think its only been done a couple times. Most importantly though is that he's been transevolved and that is supposed to jack you up but also burn you out as well. Maybe we'll see a shriveled up Disaster like what happened with Dreadnaught. ;D

Switchblade eventually wore down but over a longer time. Still, I'd think nobody has done more harm to themselves than Payback so thats a good thought.
I wonder if maybe Tom might have a little regret by letting so many different guys go for 15+ years or more. Keeping the roster down forces more turnover since you are always going to bring at least a few new guys every year. If you really think about it, since this is supposed to be real fighting these guys are doing, you'd think it'd be unrealistic for most guys to last longer than 8-10 years. I think the average NFL player goes around 3 years or so. Plus these guys fight many times a year...UFC fighters and pro boxers fighter every couple months at most.
