I completely forgot about that one...American Guy could definitely use a new card. And yeah, he tends to do better than expected in my fed as well. There was a really weird time in my fed where he was beating Encubus all the time, except when it mattered. It was one of those feuds that just happens Guy has won his last 3 matches vs. Endgame. He seems to just be able to take him down everytime. A more heel card for him would be great!! |

I think Tauran and Swarm could be the next updates. Swarm is pretty much begging to break through the glass ceiling in my fed. Despite already being a former GWF champion, he's been more dropping down and has trouble with Dr. Payne (who is doing really well for himself by the way). Maybe Tricks could get a change if Vin Strutter gets a makeover.

Swarm seems a shoe-in for an upgrade. I'd like to see one for Tauran. Encubus and Bloodline could be downgraded. Don't think we'll see anything except a possible upgrade for Disaster. Tom seems rather set on keeping the Eugenics vs Gladiators feud going and I'm not sure Wolf is going to be staying with the Glads. AG needs something and I hope there's something out there for the Titans (any or all)

Here are my suggestions for updates:
Lorelei...toss..she's been around forever and I think that she needs to be replaced with a new woman valet/wrestler... nowhere to go with her for a longtime and I agree that Tom seems not to know what's he going to do with her.
American Guy...needs an update since his former partner has been dominating him from what I can tell. I know he has been upgraded online but for the "Oldschool" players I believe it would be cool!
Swarm...if I remember correctly someone mentioned after GCon 2007 that Swarm was getting an update. I think that one is a given.
Vin Strutter..Amazing Mann is gone...the Greatest Show in the Galaxy has been boiled down to Tricks, Tanck, Gryt, and Scimitar? Meh... only decent one is the underachieving Tanck...I see BIG shake up in this group...
Tristan...his injury from Betrayer should be over by now! I see his update and possibly Reckless (Reckless joins Valour in the Outlaw Nation...I'm telling ya that IT will happen...have a feeling).
Mother Superior doesn't need an update but my predic is that her story unwinds this edition as the focus goes back to the Galactic Code debate...plus, we find out that she has being playing everone as a fool...

Swarm need one badly, if he's the leader of the Ani-men then his card should be way better.
Vin Strutter need a star in his stable....
Tristan and Reckless need Tag updates.
Gryt needs a slight update so he can be barely above Jobber level (maybe a better finisher)

since I am usally off target, I;ll make my guesses bow:
Downgrade:
Loreli: I could see if she does something to try and actively train or something but it lpoks like she is just there for a body placementt. In fact, forget diwngarde and just get rid of her!
Troubleshooters:
Have been aroubnd the fed way too long. Unless somehting big happesn in their stryline, downgrade them-maybe seperate them into single stars? it did wonders for stars & stripes(one half anywas)
Disaster:
unless he gets a third cleansing(he has had 2 already if I am not mistaken), his stats are due for a downgrade and with a reviatlized Wolf, Disaster needs to be dealt with
Kill Prey:
Much as I hate to list him, he has bene in some very rough feuds, and it has been 9 years since he entered the fed, so he is due.(yes, I knwo he got a darker look not too long ago, but it didn't chnage his stats)
Upgardes:
Greatest show on earth.
I list the stable as a whole because too much about this stable is mediocre at best and a joke at worse. Dump Rotunda, make Tricks even nastier than he is already(Joker anyone?)dump Gryt in the transevolver and REALLY make him stand out. Improve Scimidar and for goodness sakes since they have dumped Amazing mann, get someone in the stable that people WILL stand up and take notice of!
Shann-ra:
While this may make little sense, since i suggested that Kill Prey get a downgarde, Shann-ra has had nothing interesting go on with the character since her debut, and while she is a top notch competitor, I would like to see her even more so and she is due for new art at the least!
Reckless:
I feel reckless could be the next enigma given the right push-make it so!
Endgame:
Since he is going to be the standard bearrer for the new "code", make him MORE Impressive than he already is! (maybe jack up his two finsihers by +1 each or give him a brand new 0 finisher?)
Mother Superior:
Make her a more credible threat and can we PLEASE drop the medusa mask?!

Wolf isn't going to stick with the Glads, and unless Tom really feels like redoing the Glads team again, I would expect Disaster will not downgrade (there's never been a true Glad downgrade anyways, closest being Overkill and Paralyze's small downgrades, and I expect Paralyze will eventually upgrade before everything is said and doen) I wouldn't be suprised if Disaster gets better.

It seem most belive there will be upgrades or downgrades for current wrestlers. I started with NB and got Sub. 2120-2122. There seemed to be more "new" wrestlers for 2120 and 2121, but 2122 had more updated guys or guys coming back. Is there a percentage of new to updated guys??

Bobby -- I know Tom wants the GWF to have a certain "water-level" (i.e. only a certain number of active wrestlers each year), so I guess it's just a matter of if he sees more need for new blood, or more need for re-tooling in any given year.
For my personal update choices: EPOCH (we already know), SWARM (the perfect time), TRICKS (again the timing is right), RECKLESS & TRISTAN (either as an upgraded tag-team, or going their own way), and probably GRYT -- if the Strongmen are going to have stability as a tag-team, which honestly Tanck deserves.
