Paganax
[In a place that is made from terror and nightmares, we see Paganax stand beside a grotesque creation that would make even the bravest shudder. The contraption is like an organic gyroscope, large enough to hold a man of extreme size. Tentacles with spikes hang from mounted points around the machine as if they attach to your extremities. Taking a closer look, one has to wonder if this is a machine at all. Paganax steps into the chamber and stands in the middle of this object. Tentacles wrap around both arms, both legs, one around his neck, one around his chest, one around his waist, and finally one around his genitals. His arms and legs are stretched in opposite directions while the tentacles around the central body constrict. Through all of this obvious pain, Paganax smiles and then begins to talk.]
Paganax: Avarice. Your name suggests that you display an excessive or insatiable desire for wealth or gain. What do you think you can gain from me Avarice? Look at me Avarice, look at what I have subjected my body to. I have cleansed and purified myself only to see how much pain I can stand. Would you even be man enough to stand in the presence of my pet? You see my pet has a name, and the name is Embrace of Love. Only those that are pure can survive the experience, yet it makes me stronger, it gives me focus. What could you gain from an experience such as this?
[The tentacles seem to contract all at the same time. Paganax’s extremities are pulled to what appears to be a breaking point. His body is crushing under the strength of the tentacles, yet he continues to talk.]
Paganax: Embrace of Love tests what type of man you are. It tests what is in your soul and it confronts what you fear the most. Embrace of Love can never defeat me Avarice. If something this unique, this destructive, this abominable can not defeat me, how do you think you will even stand a chance? Your time is up Avarice. Your time has come to an end and I will release you from your greed. Once Im finished with you, I will move on to my next opponent in this tournament and do this all over again. You have all been warned.
[The camera zooms in and fades to black at the same time. The last thing that we see from the zooming camera is the horrible smile of Paganax showing how much he enjoys the pain of Embrace of Love.]
