Like stated, the worst they could say is, "No." I'd personally love to see it happen, and I'm beginning to develop an "Anything can happen" mindset, so it may be possible.

Call me crazy, but I like things just fine the way they are. I think the LotF sets have a great mix of independent talent, showcasing talent from some of the bigger independent promotions. As far as the regular Legends sets go, what are we really missing out on? I've seen some pretty impressive bootlegs out there, both stat-wise & art-wise. Some of the promoters on this board have truly missed their calling! Why share the community & fanbase that Tom built & we populate with a big money corporation that won't appreciate it like the WWE or to a lesser extent, TNA? I say too bad for Vince that he missed the boat the first time around & agree that there's no way he gets involved unless he runs the show, which unfortunately for him & fortunately for us, ain't gonna happen here. Imagine a deal with WWE where somehow Vince gets control of Filsinger Games! What happens when the WWE cards don't sell a bazillion sets? (Not all wrestling fans can appreciate how much cooler this game is compared to a video game, remember) Vince cuts his losses & pulls the plug & all of us get left in the cold, because Vince now owns yet another wrestling "property"! However, I could definitely see a joint venture with perhaps a ROH or CZW type promotion, wherein Tom promotes their wrestlers & the promotions sell THE GAME at their events. Simply stated, how many of you would now attend an indy show if one of the wrestlers appearing in the game was on it, as opposed to less than a year ago where some of us hadn't even heard of these guys. I attend an indy show just about once a month at the VFW around the corner from my house. The promotion is called Victory Pro Wrestling & a couple of months ago while visiting the merchandise table, I was looking through the DVDs they produce from their events when lo & behold I saw that JD Michaels & April Hunter made appearances a couple of years ago! As did the Backseat Boyz! Without this game, I would have had no idea who these people were. Imagine being able to promote these wrestlers & promotions & as an added bonus, promote OUR game at their events! This is something Vince & the WWE cannot appreciate, therefore, in my opinion, they're not worthy...
This is Tom's "empire", not Vince's!

I agree. Some valid points, but there is a very strong underlying feeling.

So sorry for having the gall to express my opinion about not wanting to see Tom make a deal with the devil. As soon as I perfect my text seperating skills, my next project will be to find something better to do with my time than spending it on this board. I find it mildly ironic that the same people accusing me of not wanting the fanbase to expand are the ones banding together like a little "core" group the minute somebody says something they don't agree with. And FYI my Mavis Beacon program taught me how to type & looks to me like the text is indeed seperated. Maybe I should have kept my reply shorter so the whole class could keep up?

Yeah, I would love to see an attempt to branch out and get more young fans. Seem like the same core has been around forever.
