2087 Year In Review
March:
-Thantos defeats Star Warrior in the tournament final for the vacant Galaxian Championship at the first pay-per view, the Galactic Bash.
-Lord Nexus is injured by Ghengis Khan when he attacked Nexus after Nexus defeated Invincible Krakan drawing the ire of Pit Viper. Nexus is injured for about a month. Viper challenges Khan to a Cosmic Cage match at the next PPV, Mayday Mayhem.
-The Gladiators demand a title shot which the Freedom Defense Fighters grant.
April:
-Star Warrior asks for a shot at the title. Thantos requires Star Warrior to earn it by defeating Death Knight, Killer Queen and Exo-King in a series of one-on-one matches all in one night.
-Star Warrior successfully defeats all of the Evil Ones earning a shot at the title at Mayday Mayhem.
-Ghengis Khan accepts Pit Viper's Cosmic Cage Match challenge.
-Lord Nexus challenges Invincible Krakan to a Cage Match which Krakan accepts.
-Gladiators of Aethra defeat the Freedom Defense Fighters for the Tag Team Championship.
-Greek Gods and FDF both demand a shot at the title at Mayday Mayhem. Gladiators decide that the two teams should fight it out with the winner getting the title shot.
-The Freedom Defense Fighters defeat the Greek Gods earning the title shot at Mayday Mayhem.
May:
-Thantos successfully defends his title at Mayday Mayhem.
-The Gladiators of Aethra successfully defend their title at Mayday Mayhem.
-Pulsar is injured by Ghengis Khan, Invincible Krakan and Mutant.
-Greek Gods demand a title shot at the next PPV, War of the Worlds. Gladiators demand that the Gods earn it and will grant the title shot if Proteus can defeat Brute. Proteus is unsuccessful.
-In an interview, Exo-King declares that the Evil Ones will be going after the Federation Defense Fighters in a big way.
-Wolf demands a title shot from Thantos. Thantos will grant it if Wolf can defeat him in a non-title match. Wolf is unsuccessful. Thantos will implement 'plan B' instead.
-The Greek Gods still want a shot at the title. This time the Gladiators will 'reassess their view on a title defense to the Gods' after a singles match between Actagon and Massacre.
-Lord Nexus is infuriated by all of the Society of Death attacks on the Titans. He demands a three-man elimination Federation Exile tag match at the next PPV. The losers will be exiled for 4 months. Krakan accepts the challenge.
June:
-Thantos announces that 'plan B' is a Battle Royal to determine his opponent at War of the Worlds.
-The Evil Ones are not doing well in their battle against the FDF.
-The Gladiators grant the Greek Gods a title shot at War of the Worlds.
-Massif wins the Battle Royal to earn the title shot at War of the Worlds.
July:
-At War of the Worlds the message 'Hellfire' appears on the big screen while fire shoots up from the turnbuckles. It stops as quickly as it starts.
-Greek Gods defeat the Gladiators for the Tag Team Championship.
-The Titans defeat the Society of Death. The SoD will be out for 4 months. Krakan ominously declares that the Titans will still hear from the SoD within the next 4 months. The Titans announce that Billy Jo Boxer will be retiring from boxing and joining the Titans as a wrestler.
-Massif defeats Thantos for the Galaxian Championship.
-Thantos is displeased with Exo-King. He tells the Evil Ones to go after the Titans instead of the FDF. He also declares that the Henchmen will be going after the Greek Gods. The Gladiators take exception to this and a match between the Henchmen and the Gladiators is scheduled to determine a number 1 contender to the title.
-Massif grants Thantos a chance to regain his title. Thantos is using the excuse of a fast count by the referee to explain his loss and Massif intends to show that that is not the case. There is a stipulation added to the match. The loser may not get another title shot for the entire time the winner remains the champion.
-Gladiators defeat the Henchmen to earn a shot at the title in the eyes of Thantos.
August:
-Pit Viper's talk show, Viper's Pit debuts. His first guests are the Greek Gods. They do not accept the challenge from the Gladiators based on the fact that Thantos cannot sanction matches. The Greek Gods will accept the challenge if the Gladiators and a mystery partner can defeat the Greek Gods and Wolf.
-Massif defeats Thantos again to retain the title.
-The GWF holds a Monday Night Massacre on Aethra. Extra security measures are put in place to control the rowdy fans.
-The Gladiators announce that their mystery partner is newcomer Spike. Spike gets the pin on Wolf to earn his partners a title shot at the next PPV, Stellar Slam.
-We see another 'Hellfire' message this month.
-Thantos and Killer Queen are seen chatting in the locker room but the camera only gets bits and pieces of the conversation.
-Thantos has a chat in the ring with Exo-King. Thantos announces his displeasure with Exo-King's inability to do anything or beat anybody. He announces that he has been replaced. The lights go down. When they come back up, Bishop Hell is standing behind Exo-King. Exo-King whirls around and gets a face full of Hellfire. Thantos and Bishop Hell continue to beat on Exo-King and Massif comes to the ring to save him. The two shake hands and Exo-King raises the arm of the champion.
September:
-Exo-King and Massif challenge Thantos and Bishop Hell to a match at Stellar Slam. They accept.
-Commander Sam introduces Adam Blast as his new tag team partner.
-After Pit Viper defeated Killer Queen at Stellar Slam, a crazy man with a club attacked Pit Viper. He announces that his name is Splatter and he was sent by Krakan.
-Massif and Exo-King defeated Thantos and Bishop Hell.
-The Greek Gods defeated the Gladiators to retain their title.
October:
-Thantos demands a title shot from Massif despite the 'no rematch' stipulation. Massif refuses and instead offers Star Warrior a title shot.
-Thantos comes to ringside and watches the championship match, which is won by Massif.
-Massacre questions Thantos, asking why he didn't interfere in the match so that Star Warrior would win and Thantos could get a title shot. Thantos said he couldn't bring himself to helping Star Warrior. Massacre says that Brute will challenge Massif at the next PPV, Season's Beatings.
-Massif however challenges Krakan to a match at Season's Beatings.
November:
-The Society of Death returns from exile. Krakan accepts Massif's challenge. The Gladiators do not like this as Brute feels he has earned a title shot. There will be a match between Krakan and Brute to see who will face Massif at Season's Beatings.
-The Henchmen challenge the Greek Gods to a title match at Season's Beatings. The Gods accept.
-Thantos attacks Star Warrior after his match against Ghengis Khan. Thantos applies the Masterlock and demands that Star Warrior gets Massif to drop the 'no rematch' stipulation.
-Thantos introduces the Norse Gods on Viper's Pit.
-Brute defeats Krakan to earn the title shot at Season's Beatings.
December:
-The Greek Gods defeat the Henchmen to retain their title.
-Massif defeats Brute to retain his title.
-Wolf introduces the Animen from Andromeda. They quickly challenge the Aethrans.
-Krakan announces that Ghengis Khan is the new GWF Earth Champion.
-Krakan challenges Massif to a title match at Deimos Perennial. Massif accepts the challenge.
-Vanity announces that he is now the GWF Neptune Champion.
-Billy Jo Boxer announces that Lord Nexus is now the GWF Saturn Champion.
