Kickin' It This Summer Saturday, July 24, 2010 The Winter Gardens, Blackpool, England
Welcome folks to the glorious Winter Gardens here in Blackpool, England! We have some great matches for you, so without further ado, let's get it on!!!!!!!
Bout 1/10 - Team FIST v The Colony
The event opened with a rather disappointing match. Taylor easily handled Fire Ant; even after Green Ant had been tagged in, Gran Akuma kept his team on top throughout. The match was put to bed early when Green Ant tapped out to the Wings of Icarus.
Bout 2/10 - Sam Hayne v Al Snow
Yet another short match. After missing a dropkick, Hayne quickly recovered to wear down Snow with the skeletal claw. Snow was thrown into the turnbuckle catching Hayne with an elbow, but Hayne blocked an inverted atomic drop and attacked with a Satancanranna. The masked man surprised and pinned Snow with a Pit of Hell Powerslam. The two wrestlers clashed backstage. Could this be the start of a feud?
Bout 3/10 - MsChif v Daizee Haze
Haze sought to make a name for herself in this bout, attacking with a flying bodypress and an early finisher, which failed to secure the win. MsChif's superior strength began to come into play and many a time she had Haze in a compromising submission hold, but today was just not the day of the banshee. After being sent to the canvas with a Daizee Cutter, MsChif was pinned with the Mind Trip.
Bout 4/10 - Chris Hero v Drake Younger
During the ring announcements, Larry Sweeney distracted the opponent to allow Hero to launch a sneak attack. After delivering a vicious Hero stomp, the man from Metropolis goaded the spectators. He then attempted a leaping senton - missing! Younger fired his opponent into the ropes but was caught in a small package, which he barely escaped. Hero executed a hangmans clutch, forcing a tapout victory. However, Younger's allies, the Naptown Dragons, ambushed Hero & Sweeney, nailing them both with high-risk double-team moves.
Bout 5/10 -The Backseat Boyz v The Naptown Dragons
The Backseat Boyz attacked before the bell rang, ramming Lee into a ringside table before subjecting him to the T-Gimmick; Lee evaded pinfall. The action tilted back and forth with blistering pace. Vortekz tried to put away Kashmere with two moonsaults to no avail. Hero & Sweeney intervened to prevent the Dragons winning; Sweeney distracting the ref whilst Hero entered the ring and nailed Vortekz with a Hero's Welcome. After over 25 minutes of action, both teams slowed dramatically. With one last throw of the dice, the Dragons went for a Double Dragon on Kashmere. Acid interrupted the count but as the ref ushered him to his corner, the Dragons hit Kashmere with a double hotshot to secure victory.

Bout 6/10 - Sara Del Ray v Ida Mae Martinez (NMW Women's Championship)
Billed as "The girl from Martinez versus the girl named Martinez", it was a fine bout between, without a doubt, the best of womens talent in the NMW. Martinez began strong but she missed a clothesline allowing Del Ray to surprise her with a German suplex and a near fall. Two Butterfly Powerslams later, Martinez was groggy but somehow came back to land a few good blows herself. Del Ray attacked with more chops and forearms before converting a royal butterfly into a powerbomb. She covered Martinez - ref counted to three - new Womens' Champion!!!!!!
Bout 7/10 - Justin Credible v The Sandman (Singapore Cane Match)
The crowd erupted as The Sandman chugged his beer and assisted a spectator to do the same. He then dashed into the ring but missed his dropkick; Credible followed with a short powerbomb. Both men took it outside the ring, Sandman ramming Credible into a table before hooking the DDT in the centre of the ring. Sandman crashed to the mat, missing a second-rope legdrop, enabling Credible to come off the turnbuckle himself with the cane. Sandman was bloodied and easy prey for a short powerbomb and simple pinfall. During a backstage interview, Erik Stevens challenged the New Yorker to a match!
Bout 8/10 - The American Wolves v The Briscoe Brothers (NMW Future Division Tagteam Championship)
Edwards took it to Jay with a suplex and an enzuigiri kick, but Jay rolled to his corner and made the tag. Richards eventually came into the bout but was overawed by the brothers' double-teaming. He was weakened considerably with a Jay Driller and a Cuthroat Driver. Edwards made saves but after a massive flying shoulder, Jay gave the signal for the Doomsday Device. Wham! One, two, three - the Briscoes, New Champions!!!!!!
Bout 9/10 - Adam Pearce v Tiger Mask
A very intriguing match-up pitting Mr Scrap Iron himself against the Japanese sensation. Both had equal footing until Pearce executed two jumping piledrivers. Mask utilised his speed to create openings and got a huge break with a flying bodypress pin attempt. From the moment on, the momentum was with him, finally pinning his opponent with the Tiger Suplex. Pearce, severely upset at the result, challenged Mask to a speciality match!
Bout 10/10 - Austin Aries v Rob Van Dam (NMW Future Division Championship)
Shortest contest of the night. RVD took his opponent down with a legsweep then squashed him with a standing moonsault; the ref made the three count and handed the belt over before Aries hand the chance to catch a breath!

Saturday Night Wrestling Challenge July 31, 2010 The Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough, England
Chris Hero & Larry Sweeney v The Naptown Dragons
After a series of knee strikes, Vortekz fired Hero into the turnbuckle but the follow-up was evaded, leaving Vortekz outside the ring. Lee helped his partner beat the count but Hero was waiting with a cravate move, sending Scotty out of the ring once more. As Vortekz rooled helplessly back in, Hero slammed him and tagged n Sweeney, who lept into the air with the 12 Large Elbow Drop. It proved on this occasion to be enough to secure the pinfall.
Justin Credible v Erik Stevens
Stevens missed with an elbow allowing Credible to capitalise with a clothesline, stomps in the corner and two consecutive "That's Incredible"s. Stevens reversed a throw into the ropes and executed a tit-a-whirl slam catching the New Yorker by surprise. The Dr Bomb failed to put Credible away but a flying shoulder block after a corner splash didn't. Stevens well worth the win.
Brodie Lee v Ricky Landell
With Lee down on the canvas from a dropkick, Landell climbed the turnbuckle for a diving shoulder block - missed! Lee never gave him the chance to recuperate, attacking with chokeslams, powerbombs and big boots. However, Landell refused to be pinned. Both men ended up outside the ring, the referee disqualifying Lee for being a bit too enthusiastic with a chair. Backstage, Jigsaw challenged Lee to a bout.
Sara Del Ray v Trinity DeNucci
What was perhaps billed as a warm-up for the champ in this non-title match turned out to be anything but! DeNucci, slightly quicker, utilised her speed to take her opponent down with dropkicks and hiptosses as well as forcing the champ to make mistakes. However, after a New Jersey Jam failed, Del Ray raised the tempo, crushing DeNucci with headbutts and powerbombs. It took two Butterfly Powerslams to win.
Adam Pearce v Tiger Mask (Cage Match)
A criss-cross saw Mask smashed to the canvas after catching a vicious shoulder block. Pearce avalanched Mask in the corner then picked him up for a jumping piledriver, which secured the pinfall. Pearce exited the cage to a chorus of boos but looked happy with himself.

Saturday Night Wrestling Challenge August 7, 2010 The Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough, England
D'Lo Brown v Rob Van Dam
Brown hit RVD with a leg lariat and attacked enthusiastically, laying on two Lo Downs. Bill Alfonso saved the pin but was blasted by Brown, who turned onto RVD and nailed him too for a quick rollup; RVD kicked out on two. Brown went for a clothesline but RVD ducked and rolled him up for a nearfall. Alfonso tripped up Brown who crashed heavily into the mat. RVD performed three Frog Splashes, draped his exhausted body over his opponent and scored the important three-count.
April Hunter v Trinity DeNucci
After a narrow defeat to the Womens' Champion, DeNucci fancied her chances here, but in the beginning, it wasn't going her way. Hunter laid on a combination of high-impact moves and doinated with her strength. However, DeNucci changed tactics and had her opponent chase her round the ring. With Hunter gambling and missing several dropkicks, DeNucci belly-to-belly'd her out of the ring! DeNucci landed a moonsault outside, making Hunter easy prey for the New Jersey Jam and a well-earned win.
Claudio Castagnoli v Ricky Landell
Swiss Claudio looked in fine shape as he connected a series of scissor kicks to Landell's head. However, he bent down too soon, Landell sunset flipping for a nearfall. Castagnoli small packaged off the ropes then applied the Ricola Bomb - Landell managed to get a foot on the ropes. After sending Landell flying out of the ring with a roaring uppercut, Castagnoli once again went for the Ricola Bomb, this time successful.
Chris Candido v The Sandman
Sandman had the better of his opponent in the early going, taking Candido down with a legsweep before pummelling him with forearms. Candido caught Sandman with a powerslam, but the Pittsburgh native kept reversing things in his favour, often using dirty tactics to do it. Sandman connected with a bodypress from the top rope; Tammy had seen enough and intervened. As Sandman grabbed her and made a gesture to the audience about sorting her out, Candido came from behind with a driving clothesline. This knocked the stuffing out of the Sandman and he was finished with the Blonde Bomb.
Sara Del Ray v Penny Banner
An excellent contest. Banner looked to be winning with a small cradle and a sunset flip leading to nearfalls, but Del Ray showed what a true champion she is defeating Banner with two consecutive Butterfly Powerslams.

Halloween Havoc October 30, 2010 The Cliffs, Whitby, England
Howdy folks! Are you all horror fans as well as wrestling fans like me? I hope so, because I couldn't let Halloween pass without celebrating with a fantastic card. Here we are, atop the cliffs at Whitby, England, famous for Bram Stoker's Dracula; the ring has been constructed with the abbey close by for full scary effect! So without further ado, let's take you down to Count Cappetta....
Eddie Fyne's Dark Carnival v The Superfriends
Eddie Fyne, sporting pumpkin facepaint, led his team to the ring amidst boos and catcalls. The Carnival enjoyed early dominance, Crossbones overpowering Jigsaw, tagging in Ultramantis Black who laid in with a savage knee across the throat. After catching Ultra with a kneelift off the ropes, Mike Quackenbush rolled to his corner and tagged Arik Cannon. The man from Chicago set up UB for a Glimmering Warlock with a swinging neckbreaker, scoring the pinfall and leaving an irate Fyne to have a go at the referee!
MsChif v Daizee Haze
In their last bout, Haze had virtually all the offence and picked up an easy victory, something MsChif was eager to avenge. Attacking on the bell, MsChif missed a clothesline allowing Haze to get in a heart punch. MsChif whipped Haze into the turnbuckle but missed with a panic attack knee. Haze hit the missile dropkick for a nearfall, nailed MsChif with another heart punch and another nearfall. The action spilled out of the ring, MsChif slamming Haze facefirst into a table. MsChif began to work on Haze's head, and after a series of headbutts, buried her with the Desecrator.
Austin Aries v Delirious
A fast and furious battle between two of NMW's finest. Aries appeared to be a step quicker, evading many high-risk moves from his opponent. Delirious caught Aries with a leaping clothesline before trying the Chemical Imbalance; a nearfall. Aries retaliated with dropkicks; with Delirious outside the ring, Aries flung himself and connected with the Heat-seeking Missile perfectly. This took all the fight out of Delirious, and Aries, after three frog splashes, laid on the Last Chancery. The madman submitted.
Gorgeous George v Les Thatcher
Inactive in the NMW for a few years, George was eager to lock horns with the Cincinnatti native, who was still sore from a recent loss. Thatcher came off the ropes with a boot to the head then fired The Gorgeous One into the turnbuckle for a monkey flip. The move was blocked, George subjecting his opponent to the powerful Gorgeous Grip. Thatcher came back with a back body drop into a series of dropkicks and an elbow out of the turnbuckle. Fearing the worst, Cherie Dupre grabbed the top rope sending Thatcher toppling to the concrete floor. George smashed him into the steel barrier, forcing the referee to disqualify him.
American Wolves v The Briscoe Brothers
The Briscoes hold a few wins over the Wolves and another win was looking very apparent here, Mark Briscoe using high-flying moves to grind down Richards. The brothers remained in control, double-teaming Edwards, cutting the ring in half. Mark, however, missed with a somersault plancha; Richards tagged in, going straight for a brainbuster but no pinfall scored. The action hit the floor outside the ring, Edwards causing Mark to bleed with a chair shot, the referee calling for the DQ.
Larry Zbyszko v Terry Gordy
The bout got off to an explosive start. As Gordy was making his way to the ring, Zbyszko approached from behind with a chair and attacked. The brutal assault was continued in the ring, Gordy managing to kick out of two consecutive piledrivers much to Zbyszko's chagrin. A turnbukle pad was removed and Gordy's head was rammed into the exposed steel several times, drawing blood. Beaten to a pulp, Gordy's offence was reduced to punches and kicks which often missed the target. Zbyszko measured his opponent with a spinning back kick which flattened Gordy. A cover was made and a simple three-count followed. Zbyszko impressive in victory.
Rick Rude v Jim Duggan
The spectators were distracted momentarily by bats flying overhead as Rude made his usual ring entrance. Heenan was into the halloween spirit, carrying a lantern to ringside - or maybe he was more interested in its appeal as a foreign object? Nevertheless, he had no cause to interfere as his man was on top form, cutting Duggan down to size with aerial manoeuvres before ending it with the Rude Awakening.
The Sheik v Rob Van Dam (Barbed Wire Cage Match)
RVD used his superior agility to take down the Sheik with legsweeps and monkey flips, smashing him into the barbed wire. The man from Battle Creek maintained his aerial attacks but was seemingly going nowhere against his doubly-tough opponent. Sheik simply allowed RVD to make an error then pounced with the dirty tactics. A few lunges to the throat with a foreign object left RVD victim to the Camel Clutch!

Survivor Series 2010 Saturday, November 27, 2010
Welcome all to the annual evening of tag team elimination matches! We have five exciting matches lined up for you, so without further ado, let’s go down to the ring for the official announcements…
Bout 1/5 - Eddie Fyne’s Dark Carnival v The Superfriends
Dark Carnival : Crossbones, Sam Hayne, Jimmy Jacobs, Ultramantis Black
Super friends : Arik Cannon, Jigsaw, Eddie Kingston, Mike Quackenbush
Jimmy Jacobs guest-starred for Fyne’s team in this bout and played an important part in the first elimination. Converting Jigsaw’s wheelbarrow slam into a jawbreaker, he scrambled to his corner and tagged in Crossbones who buried Jigsaw with his finisher.
The Superfriends made a comeback with Cannon and Quackenbush coming close with their finishers. Kingston was isolated and ground down as Ultramantis Black, Crossbones and Jacobs hit him with their finishers. However, he managed to make a tag to Cannon, who came in to clean house but instead was stun gunned by Hayne. Jacobs accepted Hayne’s tag and caught Cannon with a springboard dropkick to score the pinfall.
As Kingston covered Jacobs after the sliding D, all the other wrestlers stormed the ring and a brawl broke out. The referee, unable to control the melee, signalled for the bell.

Good stuff rolling out here, I like seeing Larry Zbyszko over Gordy and it looks like the returning Gorgeous George is a bit more nasty...
