Thanks guys. Just wanted to confirm that Gordy was the one who was clobbered so he advances on the DQ.
I have rolled out several of the upcoming bouts and I can assure you that no one was fatally injured in the tournament... so far

Bruiser Brody (12) v. Bobby Eaton (53) w/Jim Cornette
Brody cuts his way to ringside swinging his chain and it looks like Cornette may have wet himself. Eaton shows why he made it the round of 16 last tournament gaining the upper hand until Brody brawls his way back and starts to toss him around the ring. Cornette smashes Brody with his tennis racket drawing great heat from ringside. It is enough to side track Brody and the momentum goes back and forth from this point. Eaton picks up a 1 count with a stinging right hand (R9/P2) and then follows up with an ALABAMA JAM for a 2 count (R7/P4). Eaton has the advantage and crumples Brody to the mat with a high knee smash after rebounding Brody off the ropes. Eaton scales the corner and hits a second ALABAMA JAM to get the upset win (R5/P5). Up next . . . Killer Kowalski (21) v. Rick Rude (44) w/Bobby Heenan

I'm a fan of Bobby Eaton as well but him going over Bruiser Brody really blew me away. Is Cornette booking this tournament ;D
Anyway, great action Bookerbill and I'm really psyched for Kowalski vs. Rude.

Eaton was a solid worker back in the day for sure. I am hoping we will get to see the Midnight Express as part of the Best of Wargames DVD being put together this year by the WWE.
Killer Kowalski (21) v. Rick Rude (44) w/Bobby Heenan
The fans do not care for either one of these men but Rude cranks up the heat with his pre-match “real man” antics. The action is very closely contested early on with both men countering well. Heenan guides Rude telling him to keep the action in the ring and the ravishing one gets the first pin attempt with a top rope sledgehammer (R5/P3). Kowalski turns things around on the floor whipping Rude shoulder first into the ring post. The momentum has clearly shifted and Kowalski’s offence leads to a stomach claw but Rude punches free (R8/P2). Kowalski leads the match to the floor but Rude rams Kowalski into the announcer table and brings the bout back to the ring. RUDE AWAKENING. 1, 2, kick out (R7/P6). Heenan cannot believe it but Rude keeps his focus and presses the attack. Rude connects with a top rope sledgehammer and makes the cover for the three count (R5/P5). Kowalski joins fellow first tournament finalist Bobo Brazil on the sidelines.
Warlord (28) v. Magnum Terry Allen (37)
