C4! EXPLOSION - SATURDAY 8/23/14
We are back once again for another great night of C4! action live from the Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, OH. Your hosts are Mark Lowrance and Paul Ellering.
Mark and Paul welcome us to the show and talk briefly about tonight's big Top 4 matches to determine who fights for the respective World titles next week on C4! On Fox. Now it's time to recap our kickoff matches in a highlight package.
TAICHI D. LACEY AT 11:11 WITH A FLYING CROSS BODY BLOCK PAUL - Great back and forth action to kick off the night, with neither lady able to sustain an advantage. Taichi calls an audible so to speak, and catches Lacey completely off guard with the Cross Body Block for the win
ALERE LITTLE FEATHER D. AMBER O'NEAL AT 0:35 WITH ALERE DUST PAUL - The Indian Warrior Princess on the warpath tonight as she sends Amber into the corner immediately, nearly snaps her neck with a turnbuckle charge, and hits Alere Dust immediately for the shocking win. A new C4! Women's Record 35 seconds
PENNY BANNER D. ROTUNDA AT 12:15 VIA COUNT OUT PAUL - Rotunda still trying to put it all together, she's tough to keep down but has a hard time stringing offense together to mount a sustained attack. Penny, realizing she can't hold her down, gets her outside the ring and takes a big gamble with a Flying Bodypress. She mashes Rotunda to the floor, hurting herself in the process, and Rotunda unable to beat the 10-count this time.
NIKOLAI VOLKOFF D. GIANT AZUMA AT 4:56 WITH A BACKBREAKER DROP PAUL - This one started in a stalemate as each fighter tried to outfight the other. Volkoff, realizing his strength could not match Azuma, heads to the top rope, hitting Azuma just right with the Cross Body Block and using his weight against him to score the pin.
HAWK D. ABRAHAM LINCOLN AT 8:30 WITH A FLYING CLOTHESLINE PAUL - My former colleague Hawk finally finding the win column this week, but it wasn't easy with Abe Lincoln in there. Abe matching strength with Hawk numerous times and tying him up in various holds and locks that Hawk could not figure out. Hawk hangs in there, waits for an opening, and hits the Flying Clothesline for the win.
MINISTER OF WAR D. JIGSAW AT 2:11 WITH THE EYE CLEAVER PAUL - Fairly even match that saw Minister pull the Eye Cleaver out of nowhere for the win
Mark sends it backstage to Gene Okerlund and Amber Gertner. Gene and Amber welcome us to the show. Amber is with Madusa Miceli. Madusa says that Strafe will be a tough opponent, and she hears she comes from a line of Gladiators. Madusa says she has defeated a long line of gladiators and tonight will be no different. We go to Gene who is with Harley Race. Harley wonders aloud if perhaps Strafe and Rush are related. Harley says no matter, tonight after they both lose, they can go whine together. Gene sends it back.
Mark Lowrance introduces Amber Gertner, who is also our ring announcer, to kick off the live program.
KRISSY VAINE V. RHIANNON Rhiannon in total control from beginning to end, winning quickly in 2:28 with the Banshee Wail
DAIZEE HAZE V. KELLIE SKATER Skater took early control and went for Skate And Destroy quickly, which Daizee kicked out of. Daizee took control at that point, wearing down Skater before hitting two consecutive Mind Trips for the win at 3:31
AWESOME KONG V. RAIN After an early flurry by Rain, Kong took over with strikes and high-impact offense. Kong back on the winning track with a series of punches that rocked Rain. Kong finished off Rain with body shots, crumpling her to the canvas and forcing the referee to stop the match at 6:36
KENJI V. HENRY IRSLINGER Kenji explodes all over Irslinger at the opening bell, hitting a quick leg sweep which stunned Irslinger. In almost one fluid motion, Kenji went to the top rope and hit a Moonsault Press, which Irslinger barely kicked out of. Undaunted, Kenji locked in a Knee Bar, causing Irslinger to tap for the submission victory in a C4! Men's Record 1:09
BRUTE V. ONE MAN GANG The fans were waiting for this one. Despite nursing injuries, OMG started strong and brought the crowd to their feet with his two handed throat lift of Brute, whose startled expression told the whole story. OMG rocked Brute with big right hands, but could not bring him down. Brute reversed a turnbuckle whip into a back drop and took over, eliciting a roar from the crowd by sending OMG into the ropes and catching him in a choke slam on the rebound. Brute then nailed a Decapitator, a piledriver, and a running clothesline, but OMG kicked out. Several fists, another piledriver, and another Decapitator later, OMG still wouldn't stay down, but now had been cut slightly. OMG headbutted his way out of the corner, but Brute would not be denied, hitting a final piledriver for the win at 8:16
WOLF V. RIKIDOZAN Wolf dominates Rikidozan, stuffing an early single leg takedown attempt and hitting a running clothesline and two Savage Face Claws to win in 1:41
We go to intermission. Mark and Paul talk about the upcoming Top 4 Contender matches, where the winners are almost assured a shot in the title matches next week on C4! Explosion On FOX! Paul picks Peggy Lee Leather and Madusa Miceli to win for the women, and Harley Race and George Hackenschmidt for the men. We head back up to the ring.
MERCEDES MARTINEZ V. PEGGY LEE LEATHER Mercedes got the better of an early brawl with chops and forearms. Peggy began to wobble under the extended attack, but would not stay down. Mercedes continued hitting brutal chops until Peggy finally went down, and a final brutal chop sealed the deal at 3:47
GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT V. DELIRIOUS Despite injuries, Hackenschmidt started strong, rocking Delirious with forearm uppercuts. After a particular nasty one, Delirious screamed in George's face, stunning him enough to nearly score the upset with the Cobra Stretch. Pressing the advantage, Delirious hit a strong Top Rope Dropkick and a Praying Mantis Bomb immediately after, but George kicked out again. George kicked out a third time after another Cobra Stretch and Chemical Imbalance II, and was showing he was clearly hurt. Dodging a Senton Splash, George grounded Delirious briefly with scientific wrestling. Delirious then reversed a standing switch and hit a huracanrana, another Cobra Stretch, and another Praying Mantis bomb, and still George would not be pinned. Delirious sends George out of the ring, smashes his head into a table, then hits a Flying Bodypress to the outside. Back in the ring, a still hurting George reversed a Spin Kick into a Heel Hook, and then a Keylock Armbar to try and even the score. Three slams and another Heel Hook later, Delirious was hurting, but had the werewithal to hit a Running Back Elbow off the ropes. George quickly turned it around and began his first lengthy offensive attack with scientific wrestling, finally slowing down Delirious. Delirious used his agility to escape a back hammerlock, send George into the buckles and hit a running clothesline that took George down. Delirious then hit another Praying Mantis Bomb for which George had no answer. Both fighters get a standing ovation. Time 9:44
MADUSA MICELI V. STRAFE Strafe starts fast and nearly steals one with the Widows Peak Piledriver. A Flying Shoulderblock and Ground Zero later, Madusa kicks out again. Madusa then kicks out of Terminal Height as Strafe ramps up the intensity. With Madusa showing signs of being hurt, Strafe hits two Strafe Shots and another Terminal Height and scores the win at 2:34
HARLEY RACE V. RUSH Rush beats down Harley in the early going. Harley hits a headbutt that doesn't even faze Rush, and he hits Adrenaline Rush for a quick near fall. He hits it again for another near fall. The third time doesn't work either, but they're taking their toll on Harley. Harley stuffs a choke attempt and hits another headbutt, a forearm, and a suplex that brings Rush down. Harley goes to the top rope, but Rush recovers, throws him to the mat, and hits Adrenaline Rush again, and Harley kicks out AGAIN. Fans now on their feet, and Harley is clearly hurt. Rush hits a final Adrenaline Rush and Harley cannot kick out this time. Rush wins in 4:16
We go to Mark and Paul, and Paul says I know what you're going to say, I didn't get any of my picks right, but that speaks to the level of competition here in C4! and the fact that anything can happen. We head backstage to Gene Okerlund who is with Strafe and Rush. Gene congratulates both on their victory. Strafe says there was no doubt in her mind, and no one can stand up to the Aethrans. Rush says that's right, even the great big tough Harley Race had no answer for me, and next week we make Aethra proud by winning the World titles. Gene sends it back to Mark and Paul.
Mark and Paul are joined by C4! owner Spike, who commends all the athletes tonight on great performances and the fans as well. Big pop from the fans. Spike produces a large envelope which contains a letter from the Ratings Committee. First of all, Giant Azuma and Lacey, due to their losses tonight, are off the Active Rosters, and their replacements will be announced this coming week on a special edition of C4! Blast Zone this Thursday night. Also, it is now official - the Ratings Committee has sent to me the current ratings for both Men and Women, they have been inspected and signed off on by both Jim Cornette and Tammy Lynn Sytch, and they are final and official. The two fighters who will compete next week for the C4! World Women's Championship at C4! Explosion On FOX will be....
STRAFE and..... MERCEDES MARTINEZ
And the two fighters that will be competing for the C4! World Heavyweight Championship at C4! Explosion On FOX will be....
RUSH and..... DELIRIOUS
Mark asks Paul for predictions. Paul says Rush outweighs Delirious by 60 pounds and has about 4 inches on him. Delirious has to start fast, and wear Rush out by keeping him moving to have any chance. Rush has to corner and pound Delirious and exploit that power advantage. Paul thinks Rush is too much for Delirious and picks Rush to win
Paul then says Mercedes and Strafe are about even in his book. Both have mean streaks, both are tough, and neither will back up for any reason. Strafe was just a little more dominating than Mercedes this weekend, and he gives the match to Strafe, but not by much.
Mark thanks all of us for being here, and for Paul Ellering, Gene Okerlund, Amber Gertner, and Spike, he's Mark Lowrance, and we'll see you on Thursday for Blast Zone. Good Night!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 28 - C4! BLAST ZONE - The most explosive wrestling talk show in the universe
We are inside an empty Dayton Convention Center for this edition of Blast Zone. As theme music ends and camera pans around, we hear the voice of
MARK LOWRANCE - You're looking right now at an empty Dayton Convention Center, but in two days it is expected to be a near-sellout for the very first episode of C4! On FOX. We're here to talk about that and other things C4! Related on The Most Explosive Wrestling Show In The Universe, C4! Blast Zone
(We go to a talk show type set, Mark Lowrance is seated behind a desk, and Paul Ellering and C4! Owner Spike are sitting on a couch)
Hello again everybody, I'm Mark Lowrance alongside my broadcast partner and legendary manager of The Road Warriors, Paul Ellering, as well as C4! Owner, Spike. It all comes down to this Saturday, as both championships will finally be decided after three weeks of elimination bouts....Spike, let's start with you, how do you see these bouts going SPIKE - I think Delirious has had a little tougher road to get to this point, and let's be honest, a lot of people didn't expect him to even be contending, but with that being said, he's giving up 5-6 inches and 60 pounds to Rush. I tend to agree with Paul, Delirious needs to wear him out with speed and agility, otherwise Rush wins. If given the chance, Rush overpowers him and takes the title PAUL - Rush reminds me of Hawk, lean, strong, fast, with a mean streak. I too believe in this case, the good big man beats the good smaller man MARK - OK, the ladies' bout. Paul, you first PAUL - Strafe has been trained by, and is a member of, the Aethran Fight Club, which includes, Brute, Paralyze, Warhammer, and Minister Of War, among others. Mercedes Martinez, I believe, can match her intensity, but if it gets down to grit and guts, I pick Strafe. SPIKE - I have to go with Mercedes Martinez. She can match the meanness of Strafe, and is a better wrestler. If she stays focused and doesn't let Strafe draw her into a brawl, she wins MARK - Now I understand, Spike, that we have photos of the two championship belts? SPIKE - Yes we do! (Belts are shown) The men will fight for the C4! Universal Heavyweight Championship, and the women will fight for the C4! Universal Women's Championship. I chose those names for the titles because my goal for C4! is for it to have universal appeal to everybody, all wrestling fans young and old, male and female. Jim Cornette and Tammy Lynn Sytch will be presenting the belts to the winners. MARK - Those are good looking belts if I do say so myself PAUL - I think so too SPIKE - Well thank you MARK - At this time we're joined by Rush and Strafe, the two members of the Aethran Fight Club who, along with Brute, Paralyze, Warhammer, and Minister Of War, are at a local steakhouse. Rush and Strafe, thanks for joining us RUSH - It's your pleasure to have us STRAFE - And don't you forget it RUSH - Is that owner there? MARK - Yes, he.... SPIKE - My name is Spike, and I suggest you remember that for the future BRUTE - Aw, whaddaya gonna do, put us to bed without dinner (All of AFC laugh) RUSH - Alright look, we was jokin' before but now we're not. That little masked twerp, what's his name......Delirious? Well, he must be Delirious if he thinks he's got a chance against me STRAFE - You know what else? That goes double for Mercedes Benz, or whatever her name is MARK - Rush and Strafe, I would suggest you kindly refrain from the disparaging remarks BRUTE - Or you're gonna WHAT? Ya know what, just to make sure we get a fair shake, we're gonna be watchin' Rush and Strafe at ringside, and we got tickets, so if you, Spike, don't like it, that's just tough. SPIKE (Stands up) - You know what Brute? What you probably didn't figure out is that as the owner of this company, I get reports on ticket sales every day, and my lead ticket agent called me to tell me what you did BRUTE - So what? SPIKE - So, what I did is call a friend of mine who happens to know you very well. He knows you so well, he practically begged me to sit next to you BRUTE (Smiles) - Must be one of my fans! SPIKE - Actually.......no, but you can meet him anyway (Massif walks onto the set as Brute nearly chokes on his dinner and the other Aethrans get upset) MASSIF - The only thing you're going to do is mind what's left of your manners. This is going to be decided fair and square, straight down the middle, and just so you know, I'm bringing friends too (Wolf, Star Warrior, Clinch, and Shoot come out with Delirious, who is growling at the sight of Rush) WOLF - Let me translate this for you Rush (grabs Delirious by his mask tassells). Don't ever think it's going to be easy with us around, or you'll be Wolf's favorite snack - RAW MEAT! Delirious, what's going to happen Saturday night when you fight Rush? DELIRIOUS (Makes a slow slashing gesture across his throat with his thumb, then points at Rush while growling) BRUTE - NOW JUST WAIT A MINUTE! SPIKE - NO, YOU WAIT A MINUTE! Rush and Delirious will be in a fair fight, as well as Mercedes and Strafe, and..... MERCEDES MARTINEZ (Wearing a little black dress, walks onto the set) - It's OK boss, I got this. Strafe, this is going to the streets, MY world, and know this lady, I'm cutting you down. Ain't no Maybelline queen gonna run over me, and that's all I got to say about THAT! I'll see you Saturday SPIKE - Cut the feed, Mark (Mark does so). As the owner of C4! I pledged to give the fans the wrestling action they were sorely missing. These matches are going to be decided in the ring, one on one, fairly, whether anyone likes it or not. If they think they're going to stack the deck, they've got another thing coming. MARK - Let's go to a commercial and have everyone take a seat, and we'll be right back (Back from commercial, and Mark is now with Paul, Spike, Wolf, Massif, Shoot, Clinch, Delirious, and Mercedes Martinez) MARK - We're back with more Blast Zone, and as you can see we've had quite a few visitors tonight, if you're just joining us, here's what you missed (Highlights roll of AFC at the steakhouse and everyone coming onto the set) WOLF - Delirious doesn't express himself very well, so I'll speak for him. Rush, this man has a voice. It's not a speaking voice, but a voice nonetheless. My friends, the Wolf Pack, will be there to make sure you stay out of this. This WILL be fair for BOTH Delirious and Mercedes (All applaud) MARK - Mercedes and Delirious, we wish you both the best of luck in your matches Saturday MERCEDES - Thank you! DELIRIOUS (Grunts) MARK - And with that we're about out of time for this edition of Blast Zone. For Paul Ellering, Spike, Wolf, Massif, Shoot, Clinch, Delirious, and Mercedes Martinez, I'm Mark Lowrance, and we'll see you at the Dayton Convention Center this Saturday night. So long everybody!

C4! ON FOX - SATURDAY 8/30/14
C4! On Fox opens with an aerial panoramic view of Dayton, OH from a helicopter. As voice over narration begins, highlights are shown as “Lose Yourself” is used for background music.
Dayton, Ohio. It's known as The Birthplace Of Aviation and The Gem City. It's home to the Wright Bicycle Shop and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Entrepreneur John H. Patterson and poet Paul Laurence Dunbar came from here, and companies such as GM and National Cash Register were located here at one time.
Dayton was a professional wrestling hotbed in the 70's, as the original Big Time Wrestling made regular stops at Dayton Hara Arena, featuring such notables as Pampero Firpo, Bobo Brazil, and The Sheik. During the cable TV explosion of the 80's, Georgia Championship Wrestling stopped here regularly, and all the major wrestling federations have had pay per view events here at one time or another. It is with these memories of his childhood that an enterprising gentleman and wrestling fan, known only as Spike, decided to bring back wrestling as he knew it to the town he grew up in.
“I was tired of corporate, scripted wrestling. I wanted to go back to the days of knock down, drag out, hard nosed competition. The kind that answered the question, two guys are gonna fight, who's gonna win, and I think I've found that. I have wrestling legends Jim Cornette and Tammy Lynn Sytch helping me, and they are both instrumental in this as well”
Naming his federation C4! Wrestling, for competition, combat, chaos, and carnage, Spike assembled the greatest talent he could find in the world and the known universe, and Dayton took to it immediately.
Tonight, after three weeks of qualifying, it's come time to name the first champions of C4. Backed by the Aethran Fight Club, Strafe looks to become the first C4! Women's Champion, and her fellow fight club member, Rush, hopes to hoist gold right alongside her. But it will not be easy, as a very determined Mercedes Martinez and the masked Delirious stand in their way. The Aethrans will be backed by their fellow brethren Brute, Minister Of War, Warhammer, and Paralyze. To make sure things stay fair, the legendary Wolf has assembled his own team to back Martinez and Delirious, consisting of Shoot, Clinch, Massif, and himself.
It's all come down to this – Martinez vs Strafe, Delirious vs Rush, the Aethran Fight Club vs The Wolf Pack – It's C4!, it's on Fox, and it's NEXT!
We go inside a packed Dayton Convention Center in Dayton, OH, for C4! On Fox. Our hosts are Mark Lowrance and Paul Ellering.
Mark and Paul welcome us to the show. Mark and Paul talk about the championship matches tonight. Mark says it is interesting that when talking about AFC vs Wolf Pack, you have to look at tonight's matches and you'll see some interesting matchups that could bring faction members against each other down the road. Paul says Mark is correct. You have Wolf, who could be the #1 contender tonight if he defeats Harley Race, and you also have Brute right behind him if he defeats George Hackenschmidt, and Minister Of War is right behind Brute if he defeats Kenji, so yes, it will be interesting to see how well the unity of the AFC holds up if they are forced to face each other in the near future, as well as The Wolf Pack.
Mark says for tonight's title matches, the Wolf Pack and the AFC will be surrounding the ring. Spike has already given Jim Cornette and Tammy Lynn Sytch the authority to fine and/or suspend anyone who interferes in the matches in any way, shape, or form.
Mark says before we came on tonight, the great fans here in Dayton were treated to some kickoff action, so let's recap that right now in video highlights.
AMBER O'NEAL VS SCORN PAUL – Scorn making her debut on the main roster, and it was not one she preferred I think, here she sends Amber into the turnbuckle and somehow the ref gets in the way and gets clotheslined by Scorn, and Amber, trying to fight back, hits the ref by accident, who immediately calls for a double disqualification, leaving Amber and Scorn looking at each other and wondering what happened.
TAICHI VS ROTUNDA PAUL – Rotunda needing this one to stay on the active roster, and as always, hard to bring down but on the other hand, hard for her to get anything going offensively. She holds her own for a while, but Taichi's striking begins to take its toll, and this beautiful flying bodypress to the outside flattens Rotunda for the countout victory at 11:13, which kicks Rotunda off the active roster.
KELLIE SKATER VS KRISSY VAINE PAUL – Kellie establishing dominance early, Krissy having her moments as well, but it's Kellie with Skate And Destroy for the win at 5:24
ULTRAMANTIS BLACK VS ABRAHAM LINCOLN PAUL – Black making his debut tonight, Abe tying him up early and wearing him down with his old school offense of holds and locks, not letting Black get rolling. Black finds an opening and stuns Abe long enough to hit the Praying Mantis Bomb out of nowhere for the victory at 2:57
JIGSAW VS NIKOLAI VOLKOFF PAUL – Jigsaw giving up over 175 pounds right off the bat, but did not go down without a fight. Nikolai using heavy offense to ground the smaller fighter, and after two Backbreaker Drops, victory is his in 5:33
ONE MAN GANG VS HENRY IRSLINGER PAUL – Gang continuing to have problems with smaller, faster wrestlers than himself as Irslinger gets him reeling with Flying Headlocks. Gang manages to get Irslinger outside the ring and cut him open on a table, but Irslinger fights through and Gang taps to a Scissors Hold at 9:25. Irslinger not cut real bad and he's going to be fine.
Mark says let's go to some earlier footage from today. We see a Hummer stretch Limo and a Limo bus arrive at the same time. The Aethran Fight Club comes out of the Hummer and the Wolf Pack comes off the bus. Security manages to keep them apart as they hurl obscenities and threats at each other, nearly coming to blows.
We're back live and we go to the ring with Jim Cornette and Tammy Lynn Sytch. They have the respective world championship belts on their shoulders. Title matches will be 30 minute time limits, and any interference will NOT be tolerated. If by chance either or both matches should be contested to a draw, the Ratings committee will decide who fights for it next, and with that, let's introduce our ring announcer for tonight, Amber Gertner. Amber is wearing a little red dress, much to the liking of the males in the crowd, and we're ready to kick off C4! On FOX
RAIN VS ALERE LITTLE FEATHER Rain starts fast, hitting ALF early and scoring a near fall about 90 seconds in with the Rain Drop. Rain stays in control with heavy offense keeping ALF on the mat. Rain brings ALF outside, sends her into a table, then back into the ring. Four minutes in and ALF has executed zero offense. After weakening ALF with an STF, a second Rain Drop secures victory for Rain at 4:20
PEGGY LEE LEATHER VS PENNY BANNER After spending the first 30 seconds in collar and elbow, Peggy goes for an elbow, which Penny dodges. Penny takes Peggy down and applies a Boston Crab. Penny hits a flying shoulderblock and goes for a Small Cradle, which Peggy kicks out of. Penny drops Peggy with a clothesline off of a rope whip. Penny with dropkicks that daze Peggy, and after a final dropkick that sends Peggy down, Penny applies a tight Boston Crab for the submission win at 2:31. Dominating, somewhat of an upset win for Penny, not letting Peggy have any offense whatsoever.
DAIZEE HAZE VS RHIANNON Off of collar and elbow, Rhiannon sends Daizee into the turnbuckle and is immediately met with an atomic drop and a Yakuza Kick from Daizee. Rhiannon shakes it off, reverses a headscissors attempt, and hits a neckbreaker on Daizee. Rhiannon hits a fallaway slam for a near fall. A mid-ring collision flattens both fighters. Rhiannon recovers first, grounds Daizee with hammerlocks, then scores a shoulderblock off of a rope whip. Rhiannon scores a back drop off of another rope whip, and Daizee is in trouble. A rapid series of punches drops Daizee to the mat, and Rhiannon scores the pin at 3:44. Third match in a row that was essentially a squash, as the extent of Daizee's offense was a Yakuza kick.
RIKIDOZAN VS HAWK Hawk, to the shock of many, hits an armdrag to start the match. As Rikidozan comes up, Hawk hits a clothesline, a knee, another clothesline, and a top rope clothesline that has Riki hurting. Hawk scores another flying clothesline for a near fall, and Riki is reeling. Riki dodges a dropkick and takes over with a headbutt, which just makes Hawk flex and growl. Undaunted, Riki brings down Hawk with a single leg. Bringing Hawk back to his feet, Riki goes for an arm twist, and Hawk counters with another clothesline that snaps Riki's head and floors him. Hawk hits a pair of suplexes for another near fall. Hawk presses on with two clotheslines and a dropkick. Riki tries for the surprise victory with the small package, and Hawk kicks out with authority. After some chops, Riki tries a rope whip and gets floored by Hawk on the rebound. Two hip tosses and a clothesline later, Hawk is in control, but Riki is not staying down now as he tries to mount a comeback. A clothesline and a press slam by Hawk, and Riki gets back up, although unsteadily. Crowd getting into Riki's resiliency. Riki tries another surprise small package off of a rope whip for another near fall. Riki sends Hawk out of the ring and bounces his head off the steel guardrail, now gaining the advantage. A vicious chop drops Hawk, and Riki nearly scores the win. A chop uppercut floors Hawk, and Riki snatches victory from the jaws of defeat at 7:36
KENJI VS MINISTER OF WAR Kenji attempts a clothesline off the opening bell, but MOW dodges, hits a clothesline in the corner, then follows up with a dropkick and a choke that brings Kenji to the mat. MOW nearly scores the quick win with Aethran Massacre. MOW sends Kenji out of the ring and sends his head into the guardrail. MOW brings Kenji in, then sends him out again, and Kenji appears hurt as he drags himself back into the ring. MOW with a flying shoulderblock, the Murder Weapon, and an Eye Cleaver, further weakening Kenji. Kenji nearly scores the pinfall after rolling through a flying bodypress, but MOW kicks out. Kenji hits the Titan Drop for another near fall. Kenji sends MOW out of the ring, where MOW sends Kenji's head into a table. MOW tries a double axe handle off of the ring apron and Kenji hits him square in the face with a chair, rocking MOW. MOW shakes it off and sends Kenji's head into the guardrail once again, drawing a DQ from the referee. In a fit of rage, MOW tries to clothesline Kenji, who ducks, causing MOW to hit the referee. Jim Cornette comes to ringside with security, who place MOW in cuffs. Cornette announces that MOW is suspended for five weeks and is to be removed from the building immediately! Crowd pops! Time 4:44. Kenji suffered a cut due to the second table attack, but walked to the back under his own power. Is this a sign of things to come for the Aethran Fight Club?
BRUTE VS GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT George controlled early with headlocks. Brute powered out of a headlock and used a vicious chop to send George to the mat. Brute went immediately for the Decapitator but George kicked out. George reversed a turnbuckle whip into one of his own, but Brute caught him with a reverse atomic drop. George escaped a shoulderbreaker into a neck crank, which Brute promptly powered out of. It was Brute's power vs George's ability. George absorbed some heavy offense, scored a takedown, then hit Brute with a forearm in the corner. A heel hook and a waistlock suplex brought Brute down, and George went for the Russian Bear Hug, which Brute escaped. George established offense with scientific wrestling that kept Brute grounded. George scores again with a backdrop off of a rope whip. After sending Brute into the corner, George attempts a charge. Brute dodges the charge and schoolboys George, but George kicks out. Brute sends George out of the ring and George sends Brute into the guardrail, earning a DQ in the process. Time 8:34. After the DQ was announced, George attacked Brute and left him laying, showing absolutely no fear of his much larger opponent.
It is now time to determine our champions. C4! Owner Spike comes to the ring with Jim Cornette and Tammy Lynn Sytch, who are carrying their respective championships. Spike says thanks to all the great fans who have been here tonight for the very first C4! On FOX, and the next one is already in discussion as we speak. Great pop from crowd! Spike says it is now time to determine our first World Champions and their first opponents. The #1 contender matches will be 15 minute time limits, the championship matches 30 minutes. For this week only, the championships can be decided on a disqualification or countout, so he advises the fighters to be careful with how far they go. Absolutely no interference will be tolerated whatsoever during ANY of these matches, or you risk indefinite suspension, and speaking of indefinite suspension, for his attack on the referee, Spike is upholding Jim Cornette's ruling and Minister Of War is on immediate suspension for five weeks. Now let's determine some champions, shall we?
#1 CONTENDER'S MATCH – MADUSA MICELI VS AWESOME KONG Madusa came in confident, having beaten Kong once. Kong had vengeance in her eyes as they were introduced. A quick lockup ended in a stalemate, then Madusa quickly hit Kong with an enzuigiri and a huracanrana, taking Kong down. Madusa then sent Kong into the corner and nearly took her head off with a running clothesline. Madusa hits a Bridging German Suplex, but Kong kicks out. Madusa immediately goes for another one and Kong kicks out again. Madusa sends Kong to the outside and a violent brawl erupts. Kong gets the better of it, and hits Madusa so hard she crashes into the referee, causing the referee to DQ Kong at 1:58. For good measure, Kong picked up Madusa and laid her out with a Spinning Backfist before leaving.
#1 CONTENDER'S MATCH – HARLEY RACE VS WOLF Like the last match, Harley came in confident, having pinned Wolf before. Wolf, who got the loudest pop of the night, stared straight at Harley while growling. Off of collar and elbow, Harley tried to end it early, sending Wolf into the corner and hitting a running clothesline. Harley then hit a quick Piledriver for a near fall. Harley then hit a pair of suplexes for another near fall. Harley then applied an Indian Deathlock, but Wolf would not submit. Wolf escaped a shoulderbreaker attempt and staggered Harley with a vicious kick to the head. Harley shook it off, and the two stood in the center of the ring trading blows, with neither giving an inch. Harley kneed Wolf in the gut, causing him to slump over in pain, then nailed a diving headbutt as Wolf tried to recover. Harley sent Wolf out of the ring, but Wolf sent Harley into the guardrail and took over. Back in the ring, Harley ate a Wolf Skullcrusher and dodged a dropkick, while nailing another diving headbutt. Harley staggered Wolf with forearms, then a vertical suplex. Wolf managed to send Harley into the corner, only to eat an Atomic Drop as he charged. Wolf ate a punch to the face and was sent to the corner. On the ensuing charge by Harley, Wolf hit him with knees, then hit a Neckbreaker for a near fall. Wolf rattled Harley with several Skullcrushers for another near fall. Wolf hit a flying bodypress, but Harley rolled through for a near fall. Back out of the ring they went, and again Wolf sent Harley into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Wolf sent Harley into the corner and hit a tremendous running clothesline that rocked Harley. Harley punched Wolf, and Wolf, nonplussed, rammed Harley's head into the turnbuckle. Wolf sent Harley into the corner again, but was dropped with knees. Harley quickly scored with a Piledriver and this time, Wolf has no answer. Harley wins at 12:16. The fans applaud a great match, and even Harley gives a nod to Wolf after the match.
We go to intermission as Paul and Mark review some of the highlights leading up to tonight's Women's Title Match. Strafe has defeated Rhiannon, Rain, and Madusa Miceli. Mercedes Martinez has defeated Krissy Vaine, Daizee Haze, and Peggy Lee Leather to get here. Mercedes is giving up 5 inches and 35 pounds to Strafe. Strafe has a slight power edge, with agility about even.
Before the championship matches started, the Aethran Fight Club made their way to ringside, minus the suspended Minister Of War. The Wolf Pack then made their way to ringside.
C4! UNIVERSAL WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP – STRAFE VS MERCEDES MARTINEZ Strafe struck quickly, hitting a vicious chop, a suplex, and a Aethran Coup Cannon. Strafe went for a rope whip and a flying tackle, but Mercedes hit her with a Stun Gun. Mercedes hits a Saito Suplex and a spinebuster and sends Strafe to the corner, but gets hit with knees upon charging. Strafe hits a powerbomb and a scissor kick along with a clothesline, and Mercedes won't go down. Mercedes hits a running back elbow off of a rope whip, and begins a brutal chop attack that staggers Strafe. Mercedes goes to send Strafe into the corner, gets reversed, and hits Strafe coming in with a knee, sending her hard to the mat. After several brutal forearms, Mercedes tries a rope whip, and Strafe runs her over with a shoulderblock on the rebound. Strafe then hits the Aethran Coup Cannon for a near fall. Strafe hits Terminal Height for another near fall. Strafe hits Ground Zero and still, Mercedes won't stay down as Strafe shows frustration. Strafe hits a second Ground Zero, and this time Mercedes has no answer. Time of the match 5:05. Strafe is your new C4! Universal Women's Champion. Strafe celebrated with the Aethran Fight Club in the middle of the ring as Mercedes was helped out of the ring.
We now go to a highlight package of the events leading up to tonight's Men's Title Match. Rush has defeated Abraham Lincoln, Rikidozan, and Harley Race to get here. Delirious has defeated Jigsaw, One Man Gang, and George Hackenschmidt to get here. Delirious gives up 4 inches and 60 pounds to Rush. Rush has the edge in both power and agility
C4! UNIVERSAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – RUSH VS DELIRIOUS Delirious hit a quick kick to start, but Rush shook it off, nearly folded Delirious in half with a Piledriver, and scored a near fall with The Tempest. Rush hits The Tempest again for another near fall. Rush follows up with the Aethran Coup Cannon, another Piledriver, and a running forearm in the corner and Delirious is staggered. Rush sends Delirious into the opposite corner and misses a charge as Delirious moves. Rush crashes outside the ring. Delirious heads to the top turnbuckle for a flying axehandle, but Rush hits him in the face with a chair and takes over in the ring. A Springboard Decapitator and an Adrenaline Rush later, Rush scores the pin. Time 2:34. Rush is your new C4! Universal Heavyweight Champion.
The Aethran Fight Club celebrate in the ring with Rush and Strafe as the boos cascade down from the Dayton Convention Center crowd. We go to Mark and Paul, who are on the House PA System. Mark says that Spike has an announcement to make. Spike comes out with Harley Race and Madusa Miceli. Spike says with all due respect to Strafe, he is going to address Rush first. He congratulates Rush on his victory, but says he has some bad news; his first title defense will be against the gentleman to his right. Harley Race says you have seven days to enjoy the title, because next Saturday it comes to him. Spike says he now has worse news; in case you didn't get the memo, Minister Of War is suspended, and in even worse news......Brute is in the #1 Contender's Match next week! Brute and Rush begin arguing and have to be separated. Madusa says hey Strafe, don't worry about them, worry about her, because next week, she goes down too. Strafe is held back by Paralyze as she tries to come after Madusa.
Paul and Mark extend congratulations to Strafe and Rush on their victories and wrap up C4! On FOX. We'll see you Thursday for C4! Blast Zone.

The dice were funny this week! A double DQ, three single DQ's, and several squashes. Oh well, that's how the dice roll sometimes, I guess.

I run into some weird stuff as well when it comes to the dice. Such as Chaos losing to Renegade. Man were those the days.

C4! BLAST ZONE - THURSDAY 9/4/14 - The Most Explosive Wrestling Talk Show In The Universe!
MARK LOWRANCE - We welcome you to an empty Dayton Convention Center for another edition of C4! Blast Zone. I'm your host, Mark Lowrance, and tonight we'll talk about the events of last Saturday night's C4! On FOX which saw the crowning of C4!'s first champions
C4! Wrestling hit network television with a boom last Saturday night, as C4! On FOX eminated from right here in the Dayton Convention Center in front of 6205 great wrestling fans! The night saw the first C4! Universal Champions crowned, as Aethran Fight Club members Strafe and Rush defeated Mercedes Martinez and Delirious, respectively, for the C4! Universal Women's Championship and the C4! Universal Heavyweight Championship. Let's take you back to highlights from those matches
(Highlight reel is shown of Strafe defeating Martinez, Rush defeating Delirious, the post match interview in the ring, and Spike announcing Harley Race and Madusa Miceli as their next challengers, and the chaos that followed)
And if you thought THAT was interesting, Spike had another announcement for Rush.....
(Highlight reel is shown of Spike telling Rush that Brute was in the #1 Contender's Match this week and could be wrestling him for the title soon, causing Rush and Brute to argue and Paralyze and Warhammer having to separate them)
Wolf led a contingent of stars of his own in order to counteract any illegal activity that the AFC may have had up their sleeve. Wolf joins me now from his home. Wolf, what led you to do what you did in getting the contingent of stars to stand up to the AFC? WOLF - There are some folks out there who think I'm nothing more than a cold-blooded wild animal, and I am.....to most of my opponents. Basically, I hate Brute, he was trying to stack the deck, so to speak, so I decided to change the game and even things up. I was sorry to see Delirious lose, but at least it wasn't because of anything that goon Brute did. MARK - Wolf, I don't know if you're aware of this, but you and Delirious are scheduled to wrestle this week, with the winner possibly moving into the #1 contenders spot for a week from Saturday. WOLF - Yeah, I heard, and it is what it is, and I will beat Delirious and keep marching to the Universal Heavyweight Championship. It doesn't mean I hate Delirious, it's just time to conduct business, if you know what I mean. MARK - I certainly do know what you mean. Thanks for joining me today and good luck to you this Saturday WOLF - Thanks Mark MARK - Probably the most popular fighter on the C4! roster right now, the galaxy's original wild animal, Wolf. Let's take a break right now, we'll have other C4! news right after this!
(Commercial)
MARK - Welcome back to C4! Blast Zone, I'm Mark Lowrance. When talking about the Aethran Fight Club, you have to mention Minister Of War. Minister was suspended for five weeks on Saturday for striking the referee after his match with Kenji. Jim Cornette ordered him handcuffed and thrown out of the arena after announcing the suspension.
Due to Rotunda losing her spot on the Active Roster after yet another loss, and the Minister Of War suspension, owner Spike has announced that Portia Perez and Star Warrior will take their places on their respective rosters effective Saturday. Portia is a well traveled fighter who has had success wherever she has gone. Star Warrior is a multi time GWF champion and GWF Hall Of Famer. We wish Portia and Warrior good luck.
On the bubble this week are Abraham Lincoln and Amber O'Neal. A loss by either of them will result in their removal from their respective Active Rosters.
Henry Irslinger and Kenji suffered cuts in their matches last week. Both fighters have cleared medical exams and will be good to go for this Saturday.
To attempt to cut down on the number of disqualifications, Spike is meeting with Tammy Lynn Sytch and Jim Cornette. One idea apparently thrown around.....a cage around the ring, as all disqualifications so far have taken place outside the ring. We'll see if this comes to a vote or not and keep you posted accordingly.
This week on C4! Explosion, Strafe makes her first title defense against Madusa Miceli, and Rush defends for the first time against Harley Race. So be sure to join me, Paul Ellering, Gene Okerlund, Amber Gertner, and the big guy, Spike for C4! Explosion this Saturday night at 800PM on FOX Sports Ohio. Until then, Mark Lowrance saying so long everybody!
