MARK – Good evening everybody and welcome to another edition of C4! Firefight. I'm your host Mark Lowrance alongside my broadcast partner, the architect of the Legion Of Doom, Paul Ellering
PAUL – Well said, my good man, well said
MARK (Laughs) – Thank you very much. New World Champions crowned last week will be making their first defenses in rematches this week. Wolf mowing down Minister Of War, but has to face him again this week.
PAUL – Wolf bringing out his animal instincts last week, if you will, powerbombing Minister outside the ring to set up the Savage Face Claw and take the title, I have to wonder if Minister is feeling any effects from that.
MARK – I wondered that myself, but the big news of last week, Denise Storm withstanding a horrible beating by Taichi and managing to pin her with Thunderstorm.
PAUL – Denise showing her toughness by, and let's face it, she just outlasted Taichi to win the match. Denise needs to come out strong and not let Taichi get on a roll this time.
MARK – Those and a lot of other great matches to come, but right now, as we take a look at the great crowd here in UD Arena (panoramic view is shown), let us tell you that C4! Firefight sponsored tonight by Buckeye Casino & Raceway, where the winners play. As always, the great crowd treated to some Kickoff Matches before we came on, let's go over them right now. First of all, Madison Eagles taking down Simply Luscious at 6:07 with Hell Bound (Highlight reel rolls).
PAUL – Nice back and forth match, Madison with the win.
MARK – LuFisto defeating Selina Majors at 1:59 by knockout
PAUL – Big win for LuFisto as she tries to reclimb the ladder in the Ladies' division, she backs Majors into a corner and knocks her out with a well placed strike that snaps her head back and into the turnbuckle. Selina knocked cold and had to be revived, but she's alert and talking.
MARK – Nicole Matthews defeats Bull Nakano by DQ at 3:31
PAUL – Not a lot of wrestling here at all, both ladies in the mood to fight, they head outside and it costs Bull as she takes the DQ.
MARK – Eddie Kingston debuts with a win over Konnan at 3:21 with Backfist To The Future.
PAUL – Kingston dominating the returning Konnan from beginning to end here.
MARK – Chaos Supreme over Tauran at 1:38 with Bow Of Defeat
PAUL – Another quick victory for Chaos, but he's not going to get away with that all the time.
MARK – Finally, HelSin and Icarus battle to a Double DQ
PAUL – HelSin really turning up his game since nearly being wiped off the roster a couple of weeks ago, as he and Icarus slug it out outside the ring.
MARK – And with that, let's head up to Amber Gertner for our first match
KELLIE SKATER VS ROTUNDA
A motivated Rotunda comes out strong with a Shortbread Punch which rocks Skater. Rotunda then hits the Turnbuckle Trap, mashes Skater in the opposite corner with a Running Clothesline, then hits THE FAT LADY SINGS for the pin in a Women's Record 1:11 – ½ star
LATASHA VS ALLISON DANGER
After a long lockup, Allison drove Latasha to the corner and began hitting shoulderblocks. Allison tried a sunset flip for a quick victory, but Latasha blocked it, lifted Allison, and violently slammed her to the mat. Latasha dominated from that point forward, hitting the Latasha Lance at will and finishing with DIVA DEVASTATION at 4:16 for the victory – 1 ½ stars
ANGELINA LOVE VS PENNY BANNER
A fantastic back and forth match that ended when Penny sent Angelina's head into a table twice, then wrapped her up in a SMALL CRADLE for the victory – 2 stars
ANTONIO INOKI VS BRODIE LEE
After some early back and forth, it was all Brodie Lee, as he slowly and methodically beat down Inoki, whose only flurry of offense came on a belly to back suplex which only served to make Brodie mad. A steady diet of BIG BOOTS paid off for Brodie, and the last one won him the match at 9:00 – 3 ½ stars
CURT HENNIG VS MASSIF
Hennig went right to work, hitting Massif with a flying forearm off the ropes. He sent Massif to the outside, and an enraged Massif whipped Hennig so hard into the rail he flew over it and into the aisle, earning him a DQ for his efforts. Massif then went over the rail and powerslammed Hennig on the concrete, until security broke them up. Time of the match 39 seconds – ½ star
ABRAHAM LINCOLN VS US MALE
Some fans were dubbing this an “All-American” match, for obvious reasons, and it did not disappoint. Abe takes the match with a THROAT LIFT SLAM at 7:36 – 2 ½ stars
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES
C4! WORLD WOMEN'S TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP – SHANN-RA © VS MERCEDES MARTINEZ

After missing an elbow drop, Mercedes got fired up and began hitting chops on the Jungle Princess, which successfully beat her down. NEW C4! WORLD WOMEN'S TELEVISION CHAMPION – MERCEDES MARTINEZ
C4! WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP – JOHN PESEK © VS TANCK
Tanck was expected to give John Pesek a lot of problems with his size and strength advantage, but despite giving up 100-plus pounds to his challenger, Pesek again found a way to win, this week showing a vicious side as well as his technical side. After a running elbow, Pesek hit the Double Bar Hammerlock on Tanck, which he managed to power out of. After sending Tanck to the outside, Pesek hit a beautiful flying press that mashed Tanck to the floor. Tanck beat the count back in, but clearly had been hurt. Tanck was counted out after being unable to answer the count at 2:34 – 2 stars
C4! WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – DENISE STORM © VS TAICHI
This was, as expected, a brutal match. Taichi struck early with a Muay Thai kick off the top rope that hurt Denise early, then went to work with strikes. Denise took over with a Reverse Atomic Drop and employed her power offense to score several near falls. A Running Back Elbow helped Taichi regain control, and she turned to her submission offense. An ARM TRIANGLE was escaped :by Denise, but a second ARM TRIANGLE was not, as Taichi regained her title in 7:18 – 4 stars
NEW C4! WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPION – TAICHI
C4! WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – WOLF © VS MINISTER OF WAR
This match started as a brawl and ended up that way, and in between there was actually some wrestling, considering the participants involved. The end came when Wolf attempted a corner spear, and missed, flying out of the ring in the process. MOW went after him, and a brawl ensued, resulting in the DQ of Wolf for not following instructions of the referee. After the match MOW attacked Wolf out of frustration, but Wolf managed to sink in the Savage Face Claw to the delight of the fans. Security managed to separate the two before any real damage could be done. MOW wins the match by DQ and Wolf keeps the title. Time of the match 2:51 – ½ star
MARK – Despite the controversy with the World Championship match, still a great night of wrestling action, as always brought to you by Buckeye Casino & Raceway, where the winners play. For Paul Ellering and the entire C4! Crew, I'm Mark Lowrance, reminding you to catch up with Blast Zone with Gene Okerlund this Thursday. Until then, good night everybody!
