Fist Pump Wrestling - Midweek Mayhem Getting the audience all warmed up today, JD Michaels takes on Frank Dalton. Cementing their place as FPW’s top level jobbers, and each hoping to make it to mid-card one day, Michaels and Dalton put on an entertaining show. Dalton eventually wins with a Cross Body Block and receives a pair of ladies pants thrown by an enamoured audience member on his way back to the locker room. Maybe the ladies love those little denim shorts? Winner: Frank Dalton
Next up, The Jacksons take on The Grappler and The Spoiler. Always entertaining, The Jacksons’ high energy performances have won round the FPW audience, despite their less than glowing win/loss record. They add a win to their record tonight by hitting More Bang For Your Buck and pinning The Spoiler. Winners: The Jacksons
The Terrible Turk versus Mr X. Most FPW audience members would have put money on The Terrible One giving Mr X a sounds thrashing for a quick win… but the masked enigma is full of surprises! After unloading with a flurry of punches and a Big Elbow, Mr X feels he has the upper hand! But his confidence is short lived as the Turk traps him in a stranglehold. The audience can see Mr X turning purple beneath his mask as he refuses to tap out. Our courageous hero struggles across the ring and gets a fingertip to the ropes, the ref calls for the Turk to release the hold but he refuses! As the Turk continues to hold Mr X tightly in his grasp, the referee calls for the bell – the Terrible Turk has been disqualified and Mr X is the winner! The Turk eventually drops the barely breathing Mr X to the ground and exits the ring to a chorus of boos from the audience. His manager, Abdullah Farouk, congratulates him on a job well done. The dastardly pair do not consider the official win/loss record a measure of success; they consider administering a sound beating and leaving an opponent gasping in pain to be a victory. Winner: Mr X
Struggling in what appears to be a tragic losing streak, ex-Gladiator Champion Brad Armstrong squares up to Jigsaw in the ring. The crowd are hopeful that their idol can gain a bit of momentum with this entertaining match and turn around his recent run of bad fortune. Sadly, this is not to be, and after both competitors impress the audience with their displays of athleticism, a Jig ‘n’ Tonic puts Armstrong away. Armstrong is visibly distraught and the crowd are sympathetic, having never really warmed to his masked opponent. How will he recover? Will he be able to get it together in time for his Gladiator title re-match this weekend on Friday Night Fist Pump?
Winner: Jigsaw
Coming up soon - all the action from this week's Friday Night Fist Pump!

Your very unique brand continues to entertain...
Great to see the Jackson Bro's picking up an important win... And even though Armstrong is a hit with most of the fans, I was pleased that Jigsaw came out on top of their encounter...
Fun stuff!

He's going through a rough patch at the mo by the looks of it!

But Jigsaw hasn't really 'lit up' the federation as I initially hoped. I find that with some people, maybe they don't catch my imagination for some reason. His time may come though!

Fist Pump Wrestling - Friday Fist Pump “Oh have we got a sensational night for you!”
*** Dark Match *** HBWA’s new signing ‘Party’ Marty Jannetty makes his FPW debut tonight! Accompanied to the ring by his Wyld Studdz tag partner Ravishing Randy Rose, Jannetty hopes to impress the audience with a win over Ron Hutchison. Neither wrestler disappoints – Ron Hutchison does exactly what he is paid to do and convincingly sells each of Jannetty’s moves; Jannetty brings a ‘party’ atmosphere to FPW with hand claps and wildly telegraphed clotheslines; and Randy Rose gets the audience riled up with his ‘Wyld’ dance at ringside. Hutchison puts Party Marty over and is pinned after a stunning Rocker Dropper. Jannetty jumps out of the ring into Rose’s arms and the pair celebrate! The audience, some of whom are still finding their seats, applaud uproariously – the evening has got off to a great start! Winner: ‘Party’ Marty Jannetty
As the camera pans round the building before the real card starts, it zooms in on a figure in the audience – the mysterious ‘ant man’ is here again!
Next up, The Terrible Turk v. Bruiser ‘The Body’ Costa. The Body is in singles action tonight and he is all alone – his Cauliflower Alley Kids tag partners are not at ringside. Following the terrible Hot Coffee accident last week, Frank Dalton and Ron Hutchison are steering clear of Bruiser Costa, calling him a ‘dangerous liability’. There’s no coffee tonight as The Turk goes to work on Costa, his manager Abdullah Farouk screaming instructions from the apron. The match ends in almost a replica of The Turk’s midweek match against Mr X – he doesn’t release a stranglehold and the referee calls for the bell, announcing Costa as the winner by DQ. The Turk looks satisfied with his performance. Winner: Bruiser ‘The Body’ Costa
The Chests (Bob Armstrong and Mike Graham) v Kendrick and London. The Chests are performing their customary pre-match displays of physical prowess, bumping chests and flexing their biceps when, straight from the bell, London catches Bob Armstrong unawares and rolls him up for a quick pin! Armstrong and Graham plead with the referee for an immediate re-match, which is granted so as not to disappoint the crowd. The Chests thrill the spectators with a variety of spectacular tag moves, including the devastating Double Chest Bump, but sadly these FPW Management favourites cannot put their rivals away. Frustrated, Mike Graham grabs a tub of Chest Hair Wax from The Chests’ gym bag at ringside, leaps onto the apron and hits Kendrick round the head with the weighty tub. Kendrick hits the canvas, dazed, and The Chests are disqualified. As The Chests walk back to the dressing room, Mike Graham shouts back, “Kendrick, you’ll never draw a dime!”. Winners (twice): Brian Kendrick and Paul London
After a couple of recent wins, Volstead and Sheppard seem to be finally finding their place in Fist Pump Wrestling. This week they take on Tag Team Champions The Katz in a non-title match. Battle Kat and Tiger Mask are representing The Katz today, with their partner Jushin Thunder Liger at ringside for (silent) moral support. Volstead and Sheppard have really bought their A-Game today and continue their winning streak, pinning Battle Kat clean in the centre of the ring following a Congressional Leg Sweep. Volstead and Sheppard are booked for a post-match interview but don’t stick around, after looking at their watches anxiously they mumble something about having a ‘prior engagement’ and slip out of the building… Winners: Volstead and Sheppard
*** Gladiator Championship re-match ***
Reigning Champion (for one week) Larry Sharpe defends the title against the original Gladiator, Brad Armstrong. The audience are concerned for Armstrong, having witnessed his defeat at the hands of Jigsaw on Midweek Mayhem, and he looks shaky as he enters the ring. Triumphant music plays and it looks like the title has gone to Sharpe’s head as he struts to the ring in a diamante encrusted robe, flicking his platinum blond hair and proclaiming himself “The new Nature Boy”! With the audience in full support, Armstrong pulls himself together and defeats this wannabe with a Flying Head Scissors, reclaiming the FPW Gladiator Championship. The crowd go wild! Winner: Brad Armstrong
Sharpe picks up his robe from the floor and shuffles back to the dressing room, head hanging low. He hangs his ‘Nature Boy’ outfit back in the wardrobe and his occasional tag partner, Mr X, consoles him. “Never mind mate, maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. …It is a great robe though…it would be a shame not to use it again…”
Following his run of special exhibition matches with touring talent from other territories, the ever-serious William Muldoon takes on his FPW colleague Val Venis. The frowning Muldoon comes to the ring with no music and no razzmatazz, as is his custom. Venis enters in his towel with the usual smiles and gyrations for the crowd, who scream and whistle as if at a Chippendales show. Muldoon goes in hard with a series of technical holds and suplexes but Venis counters each move and eventually wins – in style - with the Money Shot. This is a huge win for Venis, who has struggled to push above mid-card since signing to FPW! As Venis performs some celebratory hip swivels in the ring, to the delight of the crowd, Muldoon’s composure wavers and for a moment a look of distress appears on his face. The camera pans in on Muldoon, head in hands, as Venis grinds around him. Winner: Val Venis
After the match, Muldoon tells FPW Management he will be taking some time off.
Having exhausted FPW’s lower ranked wrestlers, Buddy Rogers announces he is looking for a more ‘credible’ opponent. Step forward…. Justin Credible! During his time in FPW, Credible has made a name for himself as a tough opponent and, to be honest, a bit of a t*sser. But Rogers makes short work of him this week and wins with the Figure Four Grapevine. Buoyed by his strong performance, Rogers grabs a mic after the match and makes a claim that he can beat anyone on the FPW roster. Who will he take on next week? Winner: Buddy Rogers
Special Tag re-match
After the messy (and some would say frankly unjust) ending to last week’s match, Nick Bockwinkel and 'The Gorgeous Greek' Jim Londos team up to vanquish Frank Gotch and Rick Rude. There’s no glad-handing from the crowd favourites this week as they stride purposefully towards the ring and get down to the serious business of exacting revenge on Gotch and Rude. After a brawl of a match, Bockwinkel traps Rude in the Figure Four Leglock. Gotch tries to interfere and break it up but Londos holds him back and Rude taps out. Bockwinkel and Londos have won! The crowd cheer! Predictably, Gotch is furious. He slaps Rude round the back of the head and storms back to the dressing room, where he tears up Bockwinkel’s clothes and rips up a bunch of Jim Londos promotional photos. The rest of the roster, used to this kind of behaviour from the diva-like Gotch, leave him to it. Winners: Nick Bockwinkel and Jim Londos
Hope to see you all for more hot action next week – get your tickets now!

But, I'm looking forward to see what other names will be entered into the competition... Great stuff! Cheers Pariah! It'll give me a chance to have a look at some of that 'International talent' that's out there. There's a few names not announced yet so keep 'em peeled! Black is a good pick though and I'd love to see him sign to H.B.W.A full time.
