....Once again, thanks for the comments cruefan68 and Humanoids4eva . I thought that maybe things needed a little boost so you'll be seeing a lot of the 8-man feud until the current year ends at #50....
....Tonight's card is headlined by Pampero Firpo/Wild Bull Curry defending the WWA tag team championship against The Valentines....We will also see matches from the fallout of last week's main event....Enough talk, let's go to the ring....
---Our opener sees the continuation of the lower carder feud between Bruiser Costa and Scott Casey. Casey is able to hit his BULLDOG finisher to get the win over his nemesis.
---Tony Atlas faced King Kong Bundy in another feud continuation as Bundy was never able to get going in the match. Atlas hits an impressive PRESS SLAM & SPLASH for a nearfall. However, the fans gasped as Tony powered Bundy up for a Vertical Suplex and held him there for several minutes. This was enough as Tony gets the pinfall in an impressive win.
---Ox Baker/Mask Superstar faced Antonio Rocca/Don Leo Jonathan in a match from the fallout from last week's main event. This one gets dirty early as Baker starts biting DLJ and misses an early HEART PUNCH. The technicos rally back and look to have the rudos in a bad way as Rocca hauls Superstar up for the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER. However, The Destroyer hits the ring and nails Rocca with a foreign object. The referee calls for the bell but it's clear the rudos aren't interested in wins and losses as they continue to pummel the technicos. Finally, Pepper Gomez and Mil Mascaras chases the heels from the ring.
Afterwards, as Destroyer is retreating to the locker room, Pampero Firpo comes out and practically bumps Destroyer. Firpo is still upset that Destroyer cost him a shot at being a double champion and tells Destroyer he hasn't forgot that.
---Pepper Gomez stays out for his match against Blackjack Mulligan as the two put on a heated and intense match. In the end, Mulligan wears Pepper down with repeated CLAWHOLDS before pinning Gomez with a SuperPlex.
---The Hennigs vs Mr Fuji/Mr Saito has turned into a bitter feud very quickly as Larry Hennig faces Mr Saito in singles action. Mr Saito wins a hard-hitting, tough match as he hauls Hennig up for his third SAITO SUPLEX of the match.
---We are set for our Main Event as Pampero Firpo/Wild Bull Curry defend the WWA tag titles against The Valentines. Great bout that was marred by interference at the finish. Greg Valentine was trapped several times in the wrong corner and took a beating to the tune of 7 tokens. However, Greg would make the hot tag and Johnny fought back. The finish saw Firpo lock on his EL GARFIO finisher but he was near the ropes. The Destroyer took the opportunity to belt Firpo with a loaded headbutt!! Johnny recovered and hit the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER for the win and the belts!!
