WWA continues it's hot streak in Atlanta...Tremendous action and man it brought me back to the the 80's and classic Crokett NWA stuff when the RnR Express and Magnum came storming into the ring to the huge pop from the crowd to stand tall against the Russians
I can not wait for Dr Death and Gordy vs. Gang and Bundy..slobber-knocker for sure!
I love the cocky Zybesko coming right into the WWA crowning himself
Huge win for Smothers, could we see Tracy get an opportunity at some gold?

Another great night at the Omni and Tracy Smothers came up huge beating the Masked Superstar in an Atlanta Street Fight. That was a great battle. I really like that pairing of Dan Spivey & The Warlord, they could cause a lot of trouble in Atlanta. The Rock n' Roll Express & Magnum T.A. vs. Ivan, Nikita and Boris Zhukov - awesome! Magnum shook the building with that Belly to Belly Suplex on Nikita. I love to see Chief Joe Omega in the territory and that piledriver battle between Larry Zbyszko and Mad Dog Vachon should be fun. Bonus points for the Mad Dog speak. Good stuff.

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. I agree that Tracy Smothers deserves a spot in the National singles title chase but they may have to wait with the 3-way feud between Rich, Dibiase, and Mulligan at the moment. I am definitely looking forward to the Magnum/Nikita and Zbyszko/Mad Dog feuds.---WWA officials have announced a huge card for LA #58.66. WWA presents LA #58.66 Auditoro de Tijuana; Tijuana, Mexico ....We go south of the border for the first time in WWA history as the best in the WWA take on the best the UWA has to offer....Fans have jam packed the arena to cheer on their luchadores as we have two huge co-main events on offer tonight with a total of 5 title matches....Let's go to the ring to get the action started....---Our opener has the debut of The Bodydonnas as they take on the historic Guerrero Family duo of Hector/Gory. Sunny caused a distraction that led Skip/Zip to nail Hector w/ THE BODY DONNA (Top Rope Powerbomb by Skip followed by a Top Rope Elbowdrop by Zip/Finisher Rating +1) to get the win. Skip/Zip/Sunny high-tailed it to the back to escape the irate Guerreros. ---For the World jr championship, Super Crazy def. Bobby Shane to win the title!! Super Crazy hit his MOONSAULT finisher after getting out of Shane's JAPANESE SLEEPER to score the pinfall. The crowd blew the roof off the building as SC was announced as the new champion. --- Trish Stratus/Malia Hosaka def. the famed Apache Girls (Fabi/Mari) after Trish dropped Mari Fabi w/ STRATUSFCTION to retain the North American Women's tag team championship. --- Blue Demon Jr was able to overcome a brutal assault by Johnny Valentine to pick up the win w/ EL PULPO. The Valentines jumped the legendary luchadore before the match causing the crowd to become riotous. Greg had to retreat back to the locker room for his safety as Johnny continued to work over BDJ. However, BDJ was able to mount a comeback that culminated in the win. Huge pop from the crowd for the finish. --- Great Goliath/Black Gordman def. Jimmy Snuka/Magnificent Muraco by DISQUALIFICATION after Capt Lou Albano nailed Gordman with a foreign object. The challengers were all over the champions from the start and looked to take the titles before Albano stepped in to prevent that from happening. The crowd were firmly behind the challengers even though they are rudos. Snuka/Muraco retain the WWA tag team championship in their V1 defense. ---The crowd was hot for our first Co-Main Event as they had heard about Lou Thesz' antics back in LA and let him know they disapproved when he was introduced. The crowd gave UWA champion, Dr Wagner Jr a huge welcome as he came to ringside. However, it was Thesz who would go on to win the match over Wagner Jr, winning w/ the GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP to win the title. However, huge controversy afterwards as Thesz accepted the belt from the referee and promptly dropped it on the chest of the downed Wagner Jr before leaving the ring. ---Our second Co-Main Event saw the popular Antonio Rocca defend the Americas' Championship against the iconic Mil Mascaras. The crowd gave both men a standing ovation during introductions and both signed autographs for the kids before the bell rang. Mascaras looked to have won the match several times after hitting his double finishers but each time Rocca was able to get ta shoulder up. The match went over 30-minutes that finally saw Rocca hit Mascaras w/ the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER to secure the win and retain the title in his V7 defense. Afterwards, both men shook hands to close the show as the crowd gave both another standing ovation.

Very cool to see the WWA take it south of the border to join the UWA for a big event. I loved seeing various Lucha stars on the show and what a main event with Mil Msascaras just coming up short in his bid to regain the Americas title from Antonino Rocca. Incredible match. Lou Thesz really disrespected the UWA title after winning it from Dr. Wagner Jr. I'm not sure what Thesz was thinking there but man is he heeling it up. My favorite bout had to be seeing longtime L.A. territory stars Black Gordman & Great Goliath make a bid to win the WWA tag titles from Jimmy Snuka & Don Muraco. Great show from start to finish and I almost forgot to mention Super Crazy winning the world junior title from Bobby Shane. Awesome.

I agree with cruefan68 what a great event, hoping this possibly can become a yearly spectacular..I would love to see that happen. From top to bottom another blockbuster Got to say I could imagine the place erupting when Super Crazy won the Jr Title..and I can also imagine the heat the crowd gave the Valentines on their attack and the monster heat that Thesz received by dropping the belt...Thesz is becoming one of if not the best heel on this board of any fed..no disrespect to anyone else but man it is great story telling. How about Rocca and Mascaras...instant classic again..this reminds me of the classics Flair and Steamboat had in the late 80's for the NWA..masterful stuff and for ANYONE that thought Rocca was not going to last as champion...he is proving a lot of people wrong. Not to be out done, Huge win for Trish and Hosaka to retain their gold..and speaking of huge wins, by hook or by crook the Body Donna's baby! Chris Candido god rest his soul is the man! Gabe what can I say the WWA brand no matter the event takes place, just keeps topping itself...cant wait to see what happens next GREAT JOB

WWA presents Atlanta #9.67 The Omni; Atlanta ....Tonight, we get the Midnight Express defending the National tag team championship against the Rock-n-Roll Express....Magnum TA also makes his in-ring debut against Boris Zhukov....Let's go to ringside....---In the opener, Mad Dog Vachon scores an easy win over Chief Joe Omega w/ the PILEDRIVER. Afterwards, Mad Dog grabs the house mike and declares the real 'King of Da Piledrivah'[/b] is here. This brings Larry Zbyszko out as the two have a stare down and start jawing at each other. --- Tracy Smothers continues his impressive singles run with a win over Butcher Vachon, winning w/ the JAWJACKER. WWA officials have lines Smothers up for the next title shot at #13.75. --- The Gilberts def. Sam Houston/Mike Graham after Eddie drops Sam w/ the HOT SHOT. The Gilberts keep up their attack after the bell but quickly bail when The Armstrongs hit the ring. --- Bob Roop capitalizes on a mistake by The Warlord to get the win w/ the SHOULDER BREAKER. Warlord misses a turnbuckle charge, striking the ringpost with his shoulder leading to the finish. ---The fans are hot for Magnum TA as he gets a win over Boris Zhukov after overcoming interference from Nikita Koloff. Magnum drops Zhukov w/ the BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX to get the win. However, the win is short-lived as Nikita nails Magnum w/ the RUSSIAN SICKLE. ---In the Main Event, the Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette def. the Rock-n-Roll Express to retain the National tag team titles after interference from the Koloffs, allowing MX to hit the ROCKET LAUNCHER on Robert Gibson. The Russians do a number on R-n-R as Cornette hustles MX to the back. Magnum TA is out but gets dropped by Nikita's RUSSIAN SICKLE. In the end, the heroes get draped in the Soviet flag as the crowd is riotous to end the show. Quick ResultsMad Dog Vachon def. Chief Joe Omega Tracy Smothers over Butcher Vachon The Gilberts (Eddie/Doug) def. Sam Houston/Mike Graham Bob Roop over The Warlord Magnum TA def. Boris Zhukov Main Event: National tag titles: Midnight Express over Rock-n-Roll Express to retain the titles.

Nikita Koloff lays out Magnum T.A. twice in one night with the Russian Sickle - brutal. The war between Magnum and the Rock n' Roll Express and the Russians is really exploding. Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express of all teams benefit from the Russian interference to retain the National tag titles. Bob Roop over The Warlord was huge and something tells me the Gilberts vs. Sam Houston & Mike Graham was a darn good match.

WWA presents LA #59.68 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ....We return to the Olympic after the huge Tijuana card....The main event has Jim Londos taking on Ox Baker....Also on the card, is a return match for the World junior title and the Fantastics take on the Sheepherders....Let's go to the ring....---The opener sees Curt Hennig score a cheap win over Billy Red Lyons, winning after raking Lyons eyes on a SLEEPER HOLD attempt before dropping Lyons w/ the HENNIG PLEX. ---The ad hoc team of 'Playboy' Buddy Rose/Sweet Brown Sugar def. Scott Casey/John Pulsar after Rose lands BOMBS AWAY on Pulsar. ---In a return match for the World junior championship, Super Crazy def. Bobby Shane w/ the MOONSAULT to retain the title in a good matchup. --- Johnny Valentine def. Magnificent Muraco as Johnny prepares for his title shot on the next LA card. The two went toe-to-toe but Valentine lands the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER to get the win. ---The Fantastics and the Sheepherders go to a wild DDQ as they brawl around ringside and up the aisleway. The referee loses control of this one early and it got worse from there. ---In the Main Event, Jim Londos def. Ox Baker in a bloody battle, winning w/ a Sleeper Grip. Ox dominated early by taking the match to the floor often. However, once Londos got going, he was hard to stop as he wore Ox down with his double finisher. The finish came as Ox missed a desperation turnbuckle charge and Londos applied a Sleeper Grip to get the win.

Great main event between Jim Londos and Ox Baker with Londos scoring a key victory. The Fantastics vs. The Sheepherders is a war I will never tire of. Johnny Valentine looking in fine form as he prepares for his Americas title shot as beating Don Muraco is no easy task. Great also to see Super Crazy retain the World junior title turning back Bobby Shane.
