You know I always love the action from the Olympic and man what a main event, a time limit draw between Antonino Rocca and Jim Londos over the Americas title. It doesn't get much better than that. Lou Thesz getting involved afterward and indicating he wants the title only adds to what is a great scene on top. Fred Curry over Sabu was a huge upset in my book. Jimmy Snuka & Don Muraco may have picked up a controversial win but they got the job done earning the next tag title shot. The Fantastics with a victorious return only to be ambushed by The Sheepherders, awesome.
Your booking style is really top notch and it is always fun reading your events. Keep those dice rolling.

To really no one's surprise ANOTHER fantastic card here, speaking of the Fantastics what a feud on the horizon with one of the most underrated tag teams The Sheephearders! What can you say another MOTY candidate in the Main event for the America's Title, I thought Londos was going to get it, props to Rocca for another defense...cant wait for the next chapter between these two
Well done as always Gabe!

Thanks for reading gents....that Rocca/Londos match was really fun to play and I'm itching to get Thesz into the title picture. Humanoids4eva , as far as TLD's, I normally set my time limit and then multiply by 10 to get the number of total moves to reach that time limit. Total moves includes chart situations and kickouts/submission escapes as well. It's not an elaborate formula but it works for me.WWA presents Atlanta #5.59 The Omni; Atlanta ....We are back in Atlanta for more WWA territorial action. Terry Gordy faces One Man Gang on top as Bob Roop vs Dan Spivey tops the undercard....Let's go to the ring....---In our opener, the Armstrong vs Gilbert feud continues to burn after Eddie Gilbert steals a win over Brad Armstrong. Gilbert hits the HOT SHOT and holds the tights for the finish. ---The Rock-n-Roll Express def. The Valiants in a one-sided bout, hitting Johnny Valiant w/ the DOUBLE DROPKICK for the finish. Afterwards, Ricky Morton answered The Russians' challenge, saying they will be waiting. --- Tracy Smothers & Masked Superstar face off as the two have been jawing at each other lately. Smothers already owns a singles win over Superstar and picks up another after he counters Superstar's SPINNING NECKBREAKER w/ the JAW JACKER for the win. Afterwards, Superstar goes ballistic, grabbing a chair at ringside, and bashing Smothers with it until Tracy was not moving. Security arrives and EMTs helps Smothers to the back. --- The Vachons def. 2 Cold Scoprio/The Patriot after Butcher distracts the referee, allowing Mad Dog to smash Patriot w/ his steel chain. Mad Dog hauls Patriot up for the PILEDRIVER for the tainted win. --- 'Dangerous' Dan Spivey overcomes the tough Bob Roop after Roop gets tangled in the ropes, allowing Spivey to take a cheap shot. Spivey hauls Roop up for the POWERBOMB shortly after to pick up the win. ---Our Main Event sees the continuation of the Miracle Violence Authority vs King Kong Bundy/One Man Gang feud as Terry Gordy battles One Man Gang in singles action. As expected, hard-hitting action between these two behemoths as Gordy is able to lift Gang up for the Bamm Bamm Slam in an impressive power display. The action goes to the floor where Gang takes control. Gang is able to hit Gordy with a Running Corner Splash into the ringpost that drops Terry like a rock. Back in the ring, Gang squashes Gordy w/ the 747 SPLASH to get the win. MVC are 0-2 in singles matches against their bitter rivals so far!! Quick ResultsEddie Gilbert def. Brad Armstrong w/ the HOT SHOT R-n-R Express over The Valiants w/ the DOUBLE DROPKICK Tracy Smothers def. Masked Superstar w/ the JAW JACKER The Vachons over 2 Cold Scoprio/The Patriot w/ Mad Dog's PILEDRIVER on Patriot Dan Spivey def. Bob Roop w/ the POWER BOMB Main Event: One Man Gang over Terry Gordy w/ the 747 SPLASH

Solid action from the Omni and that was a killer main event with OMG beating Terry Gordy. The Doc & Gordy vs. Bundy & OMG rivalry is awesome. Good to see Dan Spivey pick up a big win over Bob Roop. Spivey would make an interesting challenger to Tommy Rich if he can secure a title shot. Tracy Smothers is rolling and Masked Superstar is angry. Good stuff.

WWA presents LA #55.60 Grand Olympic Auditorium; Los Angeles ....The WWA returns to the West Coast as The Valentines defend the tag titles against Jimmy Snuka/Don Muraco in the main event. Lou Thesz vs Don Leo Jonathan and John Tolos vs Pampero Firpo highlight the under card. The Masked Killer Bees make their debut as well. Let's go to the ring....---The Masked Killer Bees make their debut by easily defeating Mr X/Mr Y, winning w/ the BEE STING (Double Leaping Hip Attack) in under 5-minutes. --- Ox Baker def. Ilio DiPaolo, winning w/ the HEART PUNCH. DiPaolo ran circles around Ox early on but go caught w/ a Clothesline. After that, Ox controlled the match until the finish. ---In a heated battle, Curt Hennig scores a pinfall win over Red Bastien, winning w/ the HENNIG PLEX. Afterwards, Larry Hennig makes it a 2-on-1 attack as the Hennigs team up for a Double Axe that sends Bastien to the floor. Billy Red Lyons is out quickly to prevent any further damage. This heated rivalry between the two teams continues at #57/64.....During intermission, Antonio Rocca and Jim Londos are out to promote their rematch for the Americas' Championship at #57.64. The crowd give the two a rousing cheer during their introductions and as they shake hands to close the segment. However, Londos gets jumped from behind by Ox Baker as Baker drops Jim w/ the HEART PUNCH. As Londos is stretchered out, Baker reminds Jim that they still have business to settle....---In a feud that has continued over from Season 1, Pampero Firpo def. John Tolos in a great battle. Tolos busted Firpo open w/ his FLYING KNEE DROP finisher and took the match to the outside. Firpo fired back taking the advantage by ramming Tolos into the ringpost. The two waged a battle for over 30-minutes before Firpo locked in EL GARFIO for the finish. --- Lou Thesz is finally getting what he asked for in a match against Don Leo Jonathan. Don Leo smacked Thesz across the face to open the match which got a big response from the crowd. An angered Thesz forced DLJ to the mat w/ a painful Hammerlock and kept up the pressure from there. DLJ didn't really have an answer for Thesz but fought hard in the match. Lou eventually hits his finisher back-to-back, winning w/ the GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP to secure the win. ---Our Main Event saw The Valentines defend the WWA tag titles against Capt Lou Albano's duo of Jimmy Snuka/Don Muraco in their V6 defense. Johnny/Greg started strong and nearly won the match early on after Greg hit Muraco w/ a Neckbreaker. The match settled in though the Valentines were firmly in control. Albano saved a sure loss after Johnny dropped Muraco w/ the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER by draping Muraco's foot over the bottom rope. Later in the match, Albano again saved his team as he helped Snuka make the ropes while trapped in Greg's FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK. The referee had seen enough an ejected Albano much to the delight of the crowd and the Valentines. However, with the distraction, Muraco nailed Greg w/ the Asiatic Spike. A quick tag to Jimmy saw Snuka get serious hang time for the SUPERFLY LEAP, giving the challengers the match and the tag titles!! The Valentines reign lasted for 176 days and is the longest WWA tag title reign. Albano is out to celebrate w/ his charges as the fans give a mixed reaction to the new champions. Quick ResultsMasked Killer Bees def. Mr X/Mr Y w/ the BEE STING Ox Baker def. Ilio DiPaolo w/ the HEART PUNCH Curt Hennig def. Red Bastien w/ the HENNIG PLEX Pampero Firpo over John Tolos w/ EL GARFIO Lou Thesz over DLJ w/ the GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP WWA tag titles: Jimmy Snuka/Don Muraco def. Another great night of action at the Olympic and holy cow what a main event. Captain Lou Albano twice saves Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka from defeat and after his ejection from ringside his men battle back and become the new WWA tag team champions. Congrats to Johnny & Greg Valentine for their record setting reign and now it will be interesting to see how Muraco and Snuka fare as the champions. I loved the statement made by Ox Baker assaulting Jim Londos after the agreement was made for the title rematch with Antonino Rocca. Baker sent a strong message to the "Golden Greek" there. The Pampro Firpo vs. John Tolos rivalry has been great and that was a big win for Firpo. Lou Thesz continues his climb to the top with a solid win over DLJ. Whoever holds the Americas title when Thesz is ready to challenge for it is going to have to take it to the next level. Very cool to see the Masked Killer Bees debut and yes, joebreakdown, I ask the same who is Mr. Y?

Like the gents before my post, I also ask who indeed is Y? How dare DLJ slap Mr. Thesz like that! Well the big man found out the hard way what happens...I love the way Thesz is being portrayed in the WWA, he will not be stopped and anyone in his way is going to find out you don't mess with the machine that is Lou Thesz What a statement by Ox Baker, I really enjoy him just causing chaos throughout the promotion and it seems just throwing that deadly HEART PUNCH to any and everyone he see's fit Really enjoy the team of Muraco and Snuka and Capt Lou leading the way.... who better..As stated by cruefan68 great run by the Valentines, hoping the feud between these two teams is far from over. Tremendous stuff as always..long live the WWA

Sorry gents, no great mystery concerning Mr Y. I just got lazy and used Mr X twice for the match. I do like using Thesz as a cocky heel with his "I'm better than you" attitude. However, a Thesz title shot will be a little bit down the line as I have a Johnny Valentine lined up for a title shot before Lou. If Johnny/Greg don't retake the tag belts, Greg will probably be heading to Atlanta along w/ another former LA wrestler to rekindle a wild and brutal Mid-Atlantic feud from the early '80s. Thanks for reading. ---We are 10 weeks into Year 02, so how about some rankings? WWA Rankings as of 03/10; Year 02 1. Antonio Rocca ( Americas' Champion) 2. Blackjack Mulligan (WWA: ATL) 3. WWA presents Atlanta #6.61 The Omni; Atlanta Tonight, the WWA is back in Atlanta as the Midnight Express defend the National tag titles against The Armstrong combo of Brad Armstrong/BG James. We also have the continuation of the Blackjack Mulligan vs Ted Dibiase feud plus the debut of Larry Zbyszko. Let's go to the ring!---The debut of Larry Zbyszko opens the show as he def. Sam Houston, winning w/ the PILEDRIVER. Afterwards, Larry draws the ire of the crowd as he berates the downed Houston. --- Butcher Vachon scores a dubious win over The Patriot as Mad Dog Vachon is able to sneak a cheap shot in behind the referee's back. Mad Dog blasts Patriot with his chains, setting Butcher up to use his HANGMAN finisher to steal the win. ---The Rock-n-Roll Express get a DISQUALIFICATION win over The Russians after Nikita runs into the ring and blasts Ricky Morton w/ his chains. R-n-R had Ivan in a bad way before Nikita caused the DQ. Afterwards, the heel duo laid out Robert Gibson as well and then draped the Soviet flag over the prone Express. This drew a huge jeer from the crowd and almost started a riot as police officers had to escort the Koloffs to the locker room. ---Our next match featured big man vs big man as Tony Atlas battled The Warlord. Tony was able to wear Warlord down w/ several OH HIS PRESS SLAM & SPLASH finisher. However, they were not enough to keep Warlord down. Tony caught Warlord charging into the turnbuckle w/ a Jumping Headbutt to score the pinfall. ---The Blackjack Mulligan vs Ted Dibiase feud is raging right now. The two go at each other but it's Dibiase who gets the upper hand. Mulligan is never able to apply his CLAW HOLD finisher during the match. Mulligan, uncharacteristically, goes to the middle rope but misses a knee drop. Dibiase is quick to follow w/ the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to get the submission win. Dibiase will be Tommy Rich's next challenger. ---Our Main Event saw the Midnight Express def. The Armstrongs (Brad/BG) after MX hit Brad w/ the ROCKET LAUNCHER to retain the National tag titles. It looked like the challengers were on their way to scoring an upset but Jim Cornette got involved, of course. Corney used a distraction to nail Brad w/ his tennis racket to set up the finish a few minutes later.
