Normally you buy the media and not the method of delivery. This is true of all film and music etc. The CD is only the method of delivery and you have purchased a licence to own that recorded media. Interestlingly, this does not apply to the games industry, where you are purchasing the disc itself. How and where this applies outside of the UK and to printed wrestler cards I have no idea. In fact having said that, I don't know why I'm bothering! so throwing a question out there. If you purchased online, you can easily make cards yourself since pics and stats are there that you purchased. As long as you aren't making copies for others.... Just throwing out a question here

Got my set in the mail yesterday - I decided to let the alcohol from Happy Hour wear off prior to posting my comments on the change to color.
I have to admit to being apprehensive about the change, being an old-school kind of guy. After having the color cards in my hands, however, any apprehension I had went out the window. They look amazing! I may have tweaked some of the color schemes a little bit (Phantasy, for one, just didn't work for me), but overall I was blown away. Great job!!

Okay got mine, read through the booklet. Here are my opinions.
1) Like the color but I knew I would. Someone said that the cardstock look better than the Online versions. Just from looking at some of the cards and comparing I would disagree. To me some of the cards seem to be a little blurier on cardstock. It's not alot of difference though. One possible issue I see with the color is bleeding on the white boarders. Other than the Official Unofficial GWFZ sets, this is the first time I've had bleeding from fronts to backs. Its not alot but some boarders have a slight blue or gray hue.
2) Booklet was nice. I think Tom missed out on the Paganax story. Since I've played aCe it wasn't a big deal for me but for those who haven't they are missing out. Somewhere on this board I posted my thoughts on the character and motivations. It wasn't long or drawn out and I think something similar could have been able to be squeezed in there.
3)Otherwise I thought the booklet was fine. It was an easy read and gave me what I needed other than I will want to go back through the other booklets to catch me up on the characters when I start 2125.
4)Werner did an AMAZING job coloring! Still have to say my favorites are Paganax and Bishop. Of older cards I love Paybacks background.
**Edit: 5) Love the back of the cards too

I am a huge fan of the B&W. After much debate I ordered the color edition to see how they were. I have had them for 3 days now and after looking at them I have made my decision. I hate the color cards. I have also made up my mind that if an option for B&W for this set and any further sets I will not buy another Filsinger Game product. The reason for this is that some people along with myself have voiced our opinion about the option for B&W and nothing has been posted one way or another on this forum. And I do not mean from members on this form. And before anyone says it I do not use Twitter or Face Book or any of those other medias. So if something was listed there I do not know. And for those of you who may say I am not serious you don't know me so don't say I am not serious. If the option for a B&W set is not offered I am done. And I will add that I have bought every set from every fed that Filsinger Games has ever offered.

He's under no obligation to post his thoughts or reply to any discussions here. I don't know what the future is for B&W in this game, but if I were in Tom's shoes, I'd have to think that a color option will bring in more fans than the ones I'd lose from staying black and white in an iPhone world.

It is all good and well that you make your opinion know here, but if you really want Tom to know how you feel, you can always write him at Fed HQ via snail mail or via email. Check out the main page contact link here: www.filsingergames.com/cotg/contactus.php. If i were a business owner and someone was going to discontinue purchasing from me, i would want to hear from him/her directly so that i would be able to talk to him/her directly about their dissatisfaction...and see if there was anything i could do to keep their business while still moving in a direction i felt my business is going to go to succeed.

okay...now for the review...
First off, the color cards and the new card stock are absolutely FABULOUS! I have been waiting since 1987 for this set...now i cannot wait to finish 2124 so that i can start playing with them. The back side is impressive as well...i love the various color schemes for the borders. The Art just jumps off the cards!
On the direction of Legends 2125 story line...i was unsure how i would like the "limited" direction in the book as i play 98% by the story lines Tom writes...but i like it a lot too. There is enough of the traditional GWF Team with the main feuds and the Infinity Challenge really gives that "something" different that has been absent in the last few editions.
On a scale of 1 - 10 for the cards...10 no other set even comes close...even my favorite stuff from Larry Snelly. And a card based on a Chuck Carter start is always a treat!
for the storyline... 8.0...kind of a let down on Drury's secret...could have been something wayyyy better, the Infinity Challenge makes up for that a bit...Thantos, Bishop Hell & Paganax coming in...how can you not like it.
Overall 9.0...it is going to be very fun to play this set out!
BTW...i absolutely love Strafe, she literally has come to life in COLOR. Payback's background is solid as well and Endgame just has that "epic" feel to his card...I think it is his time to shine with Monolith out.

Disagree here Mark. This is the Filsinger Games official message board. His name is on it. He should have an idea what is happening here. It's up to him to check in and give us some thought or not.
