NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #3[/u] Tijuana, Mexico May 21, 2119
IRON MIKE DIBIASE def. SUPER CRAZY
These two kicked off Outburst with an incredible contest, as if the Mexican Light-heavyweight title of DiBiase's was on the line. The last man to hold that belt went all out, as did Super Crazy. Both landed and missed ridiculous moves off the top and to the floor. Neither wanted to go down but after an awesome match DiBiase came out on top (Super Crazy 3 coins, DiBiase 5 coins).
DELIRIOUS def. LES THATCHER
Former MWE Light-heavyweight champion battled it out with Delirious. Another real good back and forth contest. Thatcher went to the floor but missed and Delirious won with the Chemical Imbalance II.
DON MURACO & BOB ROOP def. PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK
London and Kendrick are 0-3 in the new NAWA. This match was pretty even with neither team able to take control. It was the Asiatic Spike of Muraco on Kendrick that ended the match.
CHRIS HERO def. JERRY LYNN
Another big-time win for the only man to ever hold the ECW heavyweight title. The Hangman's Clutch put Lynn away. A good momentum builder for Hero as he hits the Cauliflower Cup Tournament next week against George Hackenschmidt in the first round.
BOBBY EATON def. VAL VENIS
A wild one here as the fight went outside in a hurry. Jim Cornette and April Hunter got into it on the floor. Eaton dominated Venis all the way to the win.
DALLAS PAGE def. DAN SEVERN
Both of these men will be in next week's Cauliflower Cup Tournament. Page saw an opening and nailed the Diamond Cutter for the win. Severn attacked after the match and tried to choke Page out. Lou Thesz came into the ring and the Beast slid to the outside.
MIDNIGHT EXPRESS def. EDDIE GILBERT & BUFF BAGWELL
Cornette's men meet up with more members of Hot Stuff Incorporated. The Express worked over both men and after Cornette interferred beat Gilbert to win the match. April Hunter took off after Cornette and the two raced to the back.
LOU THESZ def. MASKED SUPERSTAR II
Lou Thesz may have signed for this match to try his hand against a giant in the ring as he heads to the Cauliflower Cup Tournament next week, hoping to find himself in the final against Andre the Giant. Thesz eventually got things going his way with a lot of dropkicks. Masked Superstar II was tough to put away but the Thesz Press eventually did the job.
KILLER BEES def. NEW AGE OUTLAWS
Another great tag team battle here in the NAWA. The Outlaws were all over Blair and Brunzell, but the Bees are tough to beat. They kept fighting back over and over and pulled off the upset with the Bee Sting on the Road Dogg.
BOB ORTON JR. def. THE MOUNTIE
These two have started a mini-feud after events involving the NAWA champion Bob Orton Sr. They went in and out of the ring over and over. Orton got the superplex applied for the pin.
BILL DUNDEE def. RICK RUDE
Another wild match with a lot of fighting on the floor. Eddie Gilbert tried to help Rude but was dropkicked to the floor. Dundee made the cover and grabbed the win over the Ravishing One.
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] THE AXE ATTACK def. HARLEY RACE & BUDDY ROGERS (ch)
An unbelievable match. The champs dominated from start to finish but somehow lost the belts. Both Heenigs took a beating. They kept coming back. Curt Hennig Perfect Plexed both opponents. Then he landed the Axe on Rogers and scored the three count to stun the former title holders and the crowd.
Rogers couldn't believe what happened, and apparently blamed Race for not getting in the ring. Words were exchanged, and once again these two Legends started fighting. They couldn't be broken up and fought to the back.

THE CAULIFLOWER CUP Toronto, Ontario May 28, 2119
FIRST ROUND[/u]
ANTONINO ROCCA def. RICK RUDE
A nice opener as Rocca controlled all the action. Rude almost grabbed a win when he rolled thru after catching Rocca off the top rope. He couldn't follow up and Rocca put him in the Argentinian Backbreaker. Rude couldn't get out and neither Eddie Gilbert or April Hunter at ringside were able to help him out.
ANDRE THE GIANT def. THE MOUNTIE
Being in his homeland didn't help the Mountie. World champion Andre the Giant was in complete control. The Mountie did manage to make one cover on the Giant, but Andre wasn't in danger of losing. He slammed the Mountie off the top rope and then crushed him with the big splash.
OX BAKER def. TED DIBIASE
A great match and the fans seemed to side with DiBiase when Baker came out with Kevin Sullivan at ringside, meaning he must be joining the Army of Darkness. These two went all out, a tremendous back and forth fight. All sorts of action outside the ring. Both men were running out of steam as DiBiase headed for the top rope. Sullivan got on the apron distracting the ref, and slid a foreign object to Baker. He nailed DiBiase as he came off the top rope and grabbed the pinfall.
GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT def. CHRIS HERO
Chris Hero put up his usual great fight which brought him many upset wins and titles around the world. He couldn't match up with the Russian's power but withstood the bear hug enough to take a couple near falls. Hackenschmidt didn't falter and won with the bear hug.
JOHN PESEK def. YUKON ERIC
New World TV champ Yukon Eric against a former TV title holder in John Pesek. Another great back and forth match that stayed inside the ring. Pesek took a pounding but generally had more control of the match. Eric showed how hard he is to beat but finally the double wristlock ended it (Eric 5 coins).
ED LEWIS def. DAN SEVERN
One of the great wrestling matches of all-time. The Beast came in with a bad attitude and a dislike for Lewis just because he is friends with Lou Thesz. These two put on a clinic in counter wrestling. Non-stop back and forth they went. Each man somehow kept the match going no matter how much trouble they were in. It was Lewis pulling out the win with the headlock (Lewis 7 coins, Severn 5 coins).
DALLAS PAGE def. BOB ORTON SR.
A big win for DDP over the North American heavyweight champion. For awhile neither man could capitalize when the opponent was down and ripe for the pickings. Orton kept fighting back until the Diamond Cutter ended his evening.
KILLER KOWALSKI def. LOU THESZ
A shocking win despite Kowalski being the Intercontinental heavyweight champion. Thesz was a big favorite to win it all and it was his plan to do just that in order to get a world title match. Instead Kowalski crushed Thesz with his power advantage. A few big moves put him down for the Claw and it was all over.
NWA WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] ADRIAN STREET (ch) def. IRON MIKE DIBIASE
First title defense since Street stole the gold from Danny Hodge after plenty of interference from Miss Linda. These two were pretty much dead even all the way. Street spent a lot of the match on the outside. It was Street eventually winning with the Crucifix.
QUARTERFINALS
ANDRE THE GIANT def. ANTONINO ROCCA
Rocca put up the good fight against the champ. Rocca showed incredible toughness and guts until a sitdown splash finally finished him off (Rocca 7 coins).
GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT def. OX BAKER
A great power match here that was right down the middle. Kevin Sullivan tried to help when Baker was in the bear hug but was decked by the big Russian. A big collision sent both men down but Hackenschmidt then put Baker in the bear hug for the win.
JOHN PESEK def. ED LEWIS
More great mat wrestling action. Pesek slowly took over the match and kept Lewis in trouble. Many slams and submission attempts later Pesek won with the toe hold.
DALLAS PAGE def. KILLER KOWALSKI
A huge win for DDP over the I-C champ. He scored a quick pinfall after a neckbreaker to reach the semifinals after having downed the North American champ in the first round.
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] THE AXE ATTACK (ch) def. DON MURACO & BOB ROOP
A super fast match as Curt Hennig quickly puts Muraco down and slaps on the Perfect Plex for the pin.
SEMIFINALS[/u]
ANDRE THE GIANT def. GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT
The Russian Lion has had really good matches in the past with the Giant. Not this time. It was all Andre as he powered his way to the win with the big splash.
JOHN PESEK def. DALLAS PAGE
To the winner goes a match against Andre the Giant. That was the prize and it was the Tiger Man that took it. Page fought hard but went down to a submission hold.
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] MIDNIGHT EXPRESS def. RIKIDOZAN & ANTONIO INOKI (ch)
A spectacular tag team title match as Jim Cornette's men for the first time become the world champions. Rikidozan found himself in a lot of trouble but Inoki carried the fight. Lane and Condrey were both down plenty of times but Jim Cornette helped out a little and great teamwork kept them in the match. Lane caught an enzugiri on Rikidozan that put him down for the three (Rikidozan 4 coins, Condrey 5 coins, Lane 3 coins). The Midnight Express had five previous title shots, all of which were against the Road Warriors. The champs held the titles for four months and made seven title defenses.
CAULIFLOWER CUP FINAL[/u]
ANDRE THE GIANT def. JOHN PESEK
At first it looked like the Tiger Man wasn't going to last against the Giant. He soon showed he could hang with the champ though and even had both his submission moves on at one time in the match. Pesek was tough as well as Andre worked him over for a long time. A bear hug is what finally ended the match (Pesek 4 coins).

NAWA WRESTLING OUTBURST #4[/u] Bayamon, Puerto Rico June 4, 2119
DELIRIOUS def. IRON MIKE DIBIASE
A great opener to Outburst. A ton of action in and out of the ring. This one was real even and came close to the time limit. Despite missing some high risk moves, Deliriuos kept the offense coming. DiBiase then couldn't slow the masked man down, but proved he's hard to beat. Delirious used the Bizarro Driver twice and then the Praying Mantis Bomb two times before getting the pin. (DiBiase 4 coins)
ED "STRANGLER" LEWIS def. GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT
A huge contrast from the first match of the night. This one was all on the mat and equally had the fans riveted. Hackenschmidt ended up dominating after an even start. Lewis fought out of the bear hug and this one just kept going. Again the time limit almost came about but with both men down Lewis put the headlock on and never let go until finally the Russian Lion went down (Hackenschmidt 5 coins, Lewis 3 coins).
PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK def. EDDIE GILBERT & BUFF BAGWELL
A real exciting tag team bout as the fans were livid when April Hunter kept interfering early in the match to help Hot Stuff Incorporated. Paul London was isolated and took a massive beating, including the Hot Shot and the Buff Blockbuster. He hung on and got the tag. Kendrick beat Gilbert with the Sliced Bread #2 (London 5 coins).
JERRY LYNN def. VAL VENIS
A real fast match as Venis never got anything going. Lynn was on fire and quickly beat Venis with a top rope hurracanrana. He hit from behind by April Hunter and then double teamed until Bill Dundee and Bobby Eaton ran in the ring.
NEW AGE OUTLAWS def. BILL DUNDEE & BOBBY EATON
The Outlaws needed a win after losing to the Killer Bees on the last edition of Outburst. Dundee took his lumps. Billy Gunn to used the standing leg drop up Eaton to get the pin.
RICK RUDE def. BOB ORTON JR.
Another excellent matchup that was more of a fight. April Hunter would not stop interferring, but Orton Jr. totally dominated the Ravishing One. Orton was non-stop offense in and out of the ring. Somehow Rude stayed alive and a suplex from the outside back in ended up getting him the win (Rude 5 coins, Orton 3 coins).
LOU THESZ def. DAN SEVERN
This one was over in no time at all. For all Severn's talk in recent weeks, Thesz just stepped in the ring and put him with no trouble at all. A takedown and Thesz Press left Severn beaten and stunned.
BOB ROOP & DON MURACO def. THE KILLER BEES
A big-time tag match with both teams looking for North American tag team title matches. B. Brian Blair never got out of the ring. Muraco and Roop systematically took him apart. Blair wouldn't go down and took the Hawaiian Hammer and the Asiatic Spike, but Roop put him away with the toe hold.
HARLEY RACE def. BUDDY ROGERS
An all-out street fight. The action never stopped, and started before the bell. Neither could hold the other down long enough to go for a finisher. The brawl spent a lot of time on the floor, but it was Race piledriving the Nature Boy to score the big win.
NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP[/u] DALLAS PAGE def. BOB ORTON SR. (ch)
Bob Orton Sr's remarkable run as North American champion comes to an end. He gave Page a good fight though, kicking out of the Diamond Cutter. Page had this match in hand though and landed his favorite move again to take the title.
Page was immediately attacked by Ted DiBiase, Don Muraco and Bob Roop. The Million Dollar Man said it doesn't matter who has the title he's going to take it.
