The wait is almost over!
LEGENDS TELEVISION will launch on Christmas Eve at 12 noon with a marathon of every weekly Legends Wrestling Federation telecast, shown in their entirety and in order. Watch the development of the Federation from its earliest days at the Dallas Sportatorium into the worldwide phenomenon it has become since then.
The marathon will also serve as a countdown of sorts to the next level of LWF programming -- LEGENDARY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING! The combination of what were until now the rosters of World Class and Prime Time Championship Wrestling will create a lineup of wrestling talent unseen In the sport's rich history. These outstanding athletes will be on display LIVE every Monday night for three hours, 8 until 11 p.m. Eastern / 7 until 10 p.m. Central, with replays over the next 24 hours.
The first edition of LEGENDARY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING takes place from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday, January 3, 2011. A new championship, called the Continental American title, will be created with a one-night tournament featuring 10 of the brightest stars in the LWF. It has already been determined that one of the finalists will be one of the last two "brand champions," as World Class Champion The Rock goes one-on-one with Prime Time Champion Jack Brisco for a spot in the finals.
We might add that, not only will the tournament winner become the new Continental American Champion, he will also receive a title shot against LWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan on January 30 in Boston at the Rumble Royale PPV event! Talk about incentive!
Along with the tournament, the debut of LCW will also feature two of the best tag teams in the Federation in a title unification of sorts, as the Prime Time Tag Team Champions, Londrick (Brian Kendrick & Paul London), managed by Jim Cornette, meet ex-referee Bill Alfonso's destructive duo of Terry Gordy & Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, otherwise known as the Miracle Violence Combination, for the MVC's World Tag Team titles. You can bet that former World Champions, the Road Warriors will be in the wings awaiting the outcome of this battle!
Tournament brackets will be announced in the coming weeks. Get ready for the next level of professional wrestling coverage -- LEGENDS TELEVISION!

***RESULTS***
DARK MATCH NICK BOCKWINKEL beat JULES STRONGBOW (Bootleg) with the Bockwinkel Sleeper finisher.
LEGENDS TELEVISION presents LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
The leading title now under the World Heavyweight Title is the new Continental American Title.
NUMBER ONE SEEDING MATCH -- Winner goes to the Continental American Title tournament finals JACK BRISCO (Bootleg) beat The ROCK (Bootleg) with an Airplane Spin to go to the tournament finals. Coming in, Brisco was the Prime Time Champion, and Rock was the World Class Champion. With the consolidation of the two previous brands of the Legends Wrestling Federation, this match was a title unification of sorts, although the two titles coming into the match were basically done away with.
The winner of tonight’s tournament not only is the first Continental American Champion, he will also challenge Hulk Hogan for the LWF World Title at the Rumble Royale PPV on January 30.
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND ONE STEVE AUSTIN (Bootleg) beat MIL MASCARAS by disqualification. Austin brought a chair into the ring, but Mascaras got it away and, in a moment of uncharacteristic rage, hit Austin with it,, causing the DQ. Mascaras reacted like he was immediately remorseful, but Austin was having none of it, shooting the finger at Mascaras while staggering up the aisle.
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND ONE ANTONIO INOKI beat SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (Bootleg) (w/ Captain Lou Albano) with the Enzuigiri finisher.
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND ONE RIC FLAIR (Bootleg) beat HACKENSCHMIDT (w/ Zodiac) with the Figure Four Leglock finisher. As Flair was putting the hold on Hackenschmidt, Hack called for Zodiac to get in the ring and save him. Before that could happen, though, a tough-looking African-American woman walked down the aisle, gestured to Zodiac, and the masked man left ringside and followed her. With no avenue of escape, Hackenschmidt had no choice but to tap out.
After the commercial break, Bill Apter was backstage with the woman and Zodiac. The woman identified herself as Jazz, the “Bitch Queen of New Orleans,” and she said Zodiac is with her now because “the Master is coming.” Apter pressed for more details, but Jazz refused to say any more, only that this Master would arrive “soon.”
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND ONE VERNE GAGNE (Bootleg) beat TED DIBIASE (Black Glove card) (w/ Virgil) with the Gagne Sleeper finisher.
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND TWO STEVE AUSTIN beat ANTONIO INOKI with the Stone Cold Stunner finisher.
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND TWO RIC FLAIR beat VERNE GAGNE with the Figure Four Leglock finisher.
CONTINENTAL AMERICAN TITLE TOURNAMENT -- ROUND THREE STEVE AUSTIN beat RIC FLAIR with the Stone Cold Stunner finisher to advance to the finals.
LWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Champions MIRACLE VIOLENCE COMBINATION (Terry Gordy & Steve Williams) (w/ Bill Alfonso) beat LONDRICK (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) (w/ Jim Cornette) when Williams beat London with the Oklahoma Stampede finisher to retain the belts. Londrick got this shot because they were the reigning Prime Time Tag Team Champions, so this match unified the two titles. The World Class Tag Team Titles held by Giant Baba & Rikidozan were vacated three months ago when Rikidozan was unable to wrestle due to injuries suffered at the hands of the MVC. After this match, it was announced that, next week, former World Champions the Road Warriors will meet the returning Mr. Fuji & Toru Tanaka for the right to challenge MVC at the PPV on January 30.
LEGENDARY MAIN EVENT -- CONTINENTAL AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH STEVE AUSTIN beat JACK BRISCO with a Back Suplex to win the belt. As Austin celebrated, World Champion Hulk Hogan and manager Sir Oliver Humperdink appeared in the aisle and had an intense staredown with Austin as TV time expired.

LEGENDS TELEVISION presents LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING MONDAY, JANUARY 10, 2011 BRIDGESTONE ARENA, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
***RESULTS***
DARK MATCH NICK BOCKWINKEL beat JULES STRONGBOW (Bootleg) with the Bockwinkel Sleeper finisher.
LEGENDS TELEVISION presents LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
ANNOUNCERS: Jim Ross, Gordon Solie & Mike Tenay, with Bill Apter conducting interviews
RIC FLAIR (Bootleg) beat ROB VAN DAM with the Figure Four Leglock finisher.
VERNE GAGNE (Bootleg) beat JERRY BRISCO (Bootleg) with a Cross-Body Block.
RED BASTIEN beat GREG VALENTINE (w/ April Hunter) with a Flying Body Press.
Bill Apter brought out Steve Austin to present him with the new Continental American Championship Belt. As Austin accepted the belt, Mil Mascaras came out, accompanied by LWF Board member Salvador Lutteroth. With Lutteroth translating, Mascaras expressed deep regret over hitting Austin with the chair last week and apologized. Austin said to Lutteroth, “Tell him that it takes a hell of a man to apologize for the kind of thing he did, and tell him I’ll wrestle him again, anytime, anyplace.” Austin and Mascaras shook hands, and the Mexican duo left the ring. As Austin started speaking again, he was interrupted by LWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and his manager, Sir Oliver Humperdink. Hogan held up his championship belt to show Austin and suddenly nailed him over the head with it. As a trickle of blood flowed from Austin’s head, Hogan stood over him in triumph until Mascaras ran back out, and Hogan and Humperdink vacated the ring. Austin shrugged off all offers of help, opting to return to the back under his own power, even though he was wobbly all the way back.
JACK BRISCO (Bootleg) beat KING KONG BUNDY (w/ Bobby Heenan) with a Rolling Reverse Cradle.
NON-TITLE MATCH FRANK GOTCH beat LWF World Cruiserweight Champion NIGEL McGUINNESS (w/ Bobby Heenan) by disqualification. When Gotch put the Gotch Toehold finisher on McGuinness, Heenan ran in to pull him off, causing the DQ. Heenan got out before Gotch could put him in the hold.
LES THATCHER beat RICK MARTEL (Bootleg) with the Stump Puller finisher.
ANTONIO INOKI beat COWBOY BOB ORTON with a Belly To Back Suplex.
GIANT BABA beat STING (Bootleg Crow card) with a Baba Chop.
LEGENDARY MAIN EVENT -- NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH for the LWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) (w/ Paul Ellering) beat MR. FUJI & PROFESSOR TORU TANAKA (Bootleg) when Animal beat Tanaka with the Doomsday Device finisher. The real story took place during the match when Tanaka tried several times to tag out, but Fuji would tell him to stay in. Finally, when Tanaka tried to tag out one more time, Fuji threw ceremonial Sumo salt into his eyes and walked away! That made Tanaka easy pickings for the L.O.D.’s finishing move. As the Warriors celebrated, Fuji met Jazz and the Zodiac halfway up the aisle and exchanged bows and congratulations. The announcers guessed that this must mean the Fuji is “The Master” that Jazz referred to last week.

DARK MATCH NICK BOCKWINKEL beat JULES STRONGBOW (Bootleg) with the Bockwinkel Sleeper finisher.
LEGENDS TELEVISION presents LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
ANNOUNCERS: Jim Ross, Gordon Solie & Mike Tenay, with Bill Apter conducting interviews
STING (Bootleg Crow card) beat COWBOY BOB ORTON with the Scorpion Death Drop finisher.
VERNE GAGNE (Bootleg) beat BRUISER BRODY (w/ Abdullah Farouk) with the Gagne Sleeper finisher.
JACK BRISCO (Bootleg) beat RIC FLAIR (Bootleg) with the Figure Four Leglock finisher.
Interviewer Bill Apter introduced Mr. Fuji, Jazz and the Zodiac and then showed a clip from last week, when Fuji threw salt in partner Toru Tanaka‘s eyes and abandoned him to be destroyed by the Road Warriors. That was followed by Fuji meeting up with Jazz and Zodiac, leading to speculation that Fuji was the Master that Jazz has been talking about the last two weeks. Apter started by asking Fuji point-blank, “Are you the Master?” Fuji replied, “Bill Apter-san, it would be my honor and privilege to be the Master. My answer to your question is (pause) I an not the Master. The Master is yet to come. The Master will appear when he believes the time is right.” As the trio left, Apter pointed out that Jazz will face Penny Banner later tonight, with the winner challenging Women’s World Champion Trudi DeNucci for her title at the Rumble Royale PPV on January 30.
FABULOUS KANGAROOS (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) (w/ Wild Red Berry) beat GIANT BABA & ANTONIO INOKI when Costello beat Inoki with the Marble Bor Leglock finisher.
JIMMY SNUKA beat LOU THESZ with the Superfly Leap finisher.
HACKENSCHMIDT beat RED BASTIEN with the Russian Bear Hug finisher.
FRANK GOTCH beat LES THATCHER with a Rolling Kneebar. After the match, Gotch called for the microphone and asked the truck to play the clip of last week, when Bobby Heenan interfered in the match between Gotch and LWF World Cruiserweight Champion Nigel McGuinness. After the clip, Gotch said that if Heenan wants to be a part of the action, all he has to do is step into the squared circle and go one-on-one. Heenan and McGuinness came out, and Heenan said “Yeah, I’ll get in the ring with you … but only if it’s a Handicap Match, with me and Nigel against you.” Heenan added that, to give the “great” Gotch incentive, McGuinness would willingly put his belt on the line. LWF GM Bill Watts came out and made the match for Rumble Royale -- McGuiness & Heenan versus Gotch in a Handicap Match for the World Cruiserweight Title. Watts added, “Just to make it interesting, since Heenan wants the belt on the line, let’s have it so that Gotch can win the belt if he beats either McGuinness or Heenan.” Heenan started screaming, but Watts wouldn’t have any of it as he left the ring.
WOMEN’S WORLD TITLE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH JAZZ (w/ Mr. Fuji & Zodiac) beat PENNY BANNER with a Sitout Power Slam to win the title shot.
LEGENDARY MAIN EVENT BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat MIL MASCARAS by disqualification when Mascaras hit Studd with a chair. Immediately after the chairshot, Mascaras threw the chair down and put his head in his hands, as if he himself couldn’t believe what he had done, as if he were sinking to his opponents’ level.

VALIANT BROTHERS (Jimmy [Tag team card] & Johnny Valiant) (w/ Bobby Heenan) beat ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) (w/ Paul Ellering) when Johnny beat Animal with the Boston Crab finisher. LWF World Tag Team Champions Miracle Violence Combination (Terry Gordy & Steve Williams) and their manager, Bill Alfonso, sat at ringside and watched, as the Road Warriors are challenging them Sunday night at Rumble Royale. After the Valiants scored the win and were walking to the back while Hawk and Ellering tended to Animal and his injured back in the ring, Alfonso got on the mic and laughed about the Legion of Doom losing to “such a namby-pamby team as the Valiants.” Hearing that, Heenan and the Valiants stopped in their tracks and returned to ringside, with Heenan confronting Alfonso. “Listen, you toothless wonder, I never liked you as a referee, and I don’t like you now. You want to see what it’s like to meet a ‘namby-pamby’ team? Why don’t you forget about the Road Warriors and put those belts up against us?” MVC and the Valiants got into a fight, and the Road Warriors joined in, with all six wrestlers slugging it out into the crowd and every available LWF official trying to break it up.

Finally, he said that “The Master” will finally appear … not only AT the Rumble Royale, but IN the Rumble Royale match itself!
HACKENSCHMIDT beat RICK MARTEL (Bootleg) with the Russian Bear Hug finisher.
FRANK GOTCH beat BIG JOHN STUDD (w/ Bobby Heenan) with the Gotch Toehold finisher. LWF World Cruiserweight champion Nigel McGuinness sat ringside and provided guest commentary. After the win by Gotch, Gotch challenged McGuinness to get in the ring. Heenan hit Gotch from behind, and Heenan, McGuinness and Studd began a three-on-one attack on Gotch. Suddenly, Andre the Giant hit the ring, and Heenan and his men scattered. It was announced that Andre was joining the field for the 30-man Rumble Royale match Sunday night. Mike Tenay said, “Everyone else’s chances of winning the Rumble Royale just took a nosedive!”
TED DIBIASE (Black Glove card) (w/ Virgil) beat JIMMY SNUKA with a Fist Drop.
