LEGENDS TELEVISION presents LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
ANNOUNCERS: Jim Ross, Gordon Solie & Mike Tenay, with Bill Apter conducting interviews
TONIGHT: Aftermath of Rumble Royale 2011.
At the interview stage, Bill Apter congratulated Red Bastien, winner of the Rumble Royale and new Number One Contender to Hulk Hogan’s World Heavyweight Title. As Bastien and Apter spoke, Killer Tim Brooks, the last man eliminated, walked by on his way to the ring and had some words for Bastien. Bastien told him, “Anytime, anyplace.”
MISTER X beat KILLER TIM BROOKS (Vintage Mayhem Bootleg) by disqualification when Brooks used brass knuckles on him, and the referee caught him. Even after the bell, Brooks kept pounding on the masked man until Bastien ran in and chased him off. Bastien then took the mic and said, “Brooks, I said I’d take you on anytime, anyplace. Let’s make it NEXT WEEK! You won’t be able to get away with this with me!”
After the commercial break, the announcing team confirmed that General Manager Bill Watts signed Red Bastien versus Killer Tim Brooks for next week.
TED DIBIASE (Black Glove) (w/ Virgil) beat SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (Bootleg) (w/ Captain Lou Albano) with a Spinning Neckbreaker.
RIC FLAIR (Bootleg) beat BRUNO SAMMARTINO (Bootleg) with a Small Package.
Apter was joined in the ring by Kevin Sullivan, Mr. Fuji, Women’s World Champion Jazz and The Zodiac. Sullivan debuted last night in the Rumble Royale. Video was shown of Londrick (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) double-dropkicking Sullivan out over the top rope, followed by Zodiac and Fuji charging the ring and tossing the two cruiserweights over the top and out of the match. That was followed by footage showing Sullivan, Fuji and Zodiac wiping the floor with Londrick backstage. Sullivan questioned the mental capacity of Kendrick & London in going after what Sullivan termed his “Faithful.” “As you can see, Bill Apter, I am surrounded by the dark forces of the universe. In Zodiac, I have the power of the moon, the stars and the heavens above. In Jazz, I have the power of voodoo, the Witch Queen of New Orleans.” Jazz interjected, “B*tch queen, baby!” Sullivan paused, turned to Jazz and took her chin in his hand. “My dear Jazz, you bring a unique mix of power and beauty to my Faithful. BUT … if you interrupt me again, I will remove your larynx with my teeth. Do you understand me?” Jazz, reacting as if Sullivan were squeezing her jaw, could only nod her head in pain, and he let go. Sullivan continued. “As I was saying, Bill Apter, I also have Mr. Fuji, who brings me the mysticism of the Far East. Our goal is to dominate the Legends Wrestling Federation. We will not rest until I am World Heavyweight Champion. Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, (Terry) Gordy and (Steve) Williams, anybody who holds a belt in this Federation is on notice that you are about to meet with dark forces unlike any you have ever encountered. Our domination starts tonight. You see, Jim Cornette has made the mistake of signing his reckless young tag team to a Six-Man Tag Team match against the Faithful. We don’t know who their partner is, and we don’t CARE who their partner is. The Faithful will claim our first three victims tonight. And, Cornette, Jazz will not hesitate to make it FOUR!”
RICK MARTEL (Bootleg) beat LES THATCHER with a Running Cross Body Block.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH -- WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES
ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) (w/ Paul Ellering) beat VALIANT BROTHERS (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant) (w/ Bobby Heenan) when Hawk beat Johnny with a Vertical Suplex. The Road Warriors will now challenge World Tag Team Champions the Miracle Violence Combination for the belts at the February 20 Pay-Per-View.
NON-TITLE MATCH
World Cruiserweight Champion FRANK GOTCH beat JACK BRISCO (Bootleg). Brisco went for a Cross-Body Block off the top rope, but, in doing so, he accidentally wiped out Referee James Beard. Brisco went for the cover, but there was no one to count. When Brisco went to revive Beard, Gotch attacked him from behind and applied the Gotch Toehold. Beard recovered to see Brisco tap out.
MR. FUJI, KEVIN SULLIVAN & The ZODIAC (Bob Orton Sr.) (w/ Jazz) beat LONDRICK (Brian Kendrick & Paul London) (w/ Jim Cornette) & STING (Crow) (Bootleg) when Sullivan beat Kendrick with a Boston Crab.
HACKENSCHMIDT beat VERNE GAGNE (Bootleg) with the Russian Bear Hug finisher.
LEGENDARY MAIN EVENT -- NON-TITLE MATCH
Continental American Champion STEVE AUSTIN (Bootleg) beat ANTONIO INOKI with the Stone Cold Stunner finisher.
