Bad news / good news.
The bad news is, I have to pull the plug on my LWF as I had been running it. I just don't have the time I'd like to have to run a weekly promotion, plus PPV's, and dealing with the workload of keeping up ratings, etc.
The good news is, I think a couple of times a month is do-able.
Watch for news of an LWF Reboot COMING SOON!

***REBOOT***REBOOT***REBOOT***
The Legends Wrestling Federation enters a new era, with a new and different concept. Rather than weekly competition, building up to pay-per-views, the LWF is going another route.
Presenting ... LWF MONTHLY TOURNAMENTS!
Here's what we'll do. On the first Monday of the month, the LWF will present the first round, eight matches, on Legends Television, along with a marquee main event. Then, the following Sunday, the remainder of the tournament will be held, along with matches for the World Heavyweight and Tag Team titles, all on PPV. The winner of the tournament will challenge for the World Heavyweight Title at the next month's PPV.
To sweeten the PPV pot for you, there will also be a Number One Contenders Match to determine the challenger for the World Tag Team belts at next month's PPV.
From time to time, we will also present the Women's and Minis World Championships.
As an extra incentive to the tournament wrestlers to do their best (as if the World belt isn't enough!), the Final Four of the tournament will return at the next month's tournament and get another shot. Also, the loser of the World title match isn't finished, as he will also be an automatic tournament entrant, and get an automatic Number One seeding. So, basically, the Top Five go to the next tournament and receive the top five seedings. And, that means there are guaranteed to be 11 new competitors in each month's tournament.
And, along those lines, the loser of the World Tag Team title match will be back the next month to face another team in a Number One Contenders Match to face the champions next month!
The first tournament starts on Monday, October 3 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Here are the pairings:
ZODIAC (w/ Mr. Fuji) vs. RICK MARTEL NIGEL McGUINNESS vs. HULK HOGAN BRUISER BRODY (w/ Abdullah Farouk) vs. KILLER TIM BROOKS (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) GIANT BABA vs. GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT MIL MASCARAS vs. The ROCK JACK BRISCO vs. STING SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM (w/ Lou Albano) vs. BRUNO SAMMARTINO LOU THESZ vs. GEORGE SOUTH
Also on Monday, in a Six-Man Tag match involving Sunday, October 9's champions and challengers, RIC FLAIR teams with the FABULOUS KANGAROOS (w/ Wild Red Berry) against World Champion STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN and World Tag Champions The ROAD WARRIORS (w/ Paul Ellering)!
As our Number One Contenders tag team match Sunday, the VALIANT BROTHERS (w/ Bobby Heenan) square off against the SHEEPHERDERS (w/ Larry Sharpe)!
Stay tuned for more info as the dates get nearer. We hope you will like this exciting new concept. After all ... it's ... LEGENDARY!

I like this concept even though I am going to miss your weekly shows you have to do what you do best. What about the other Champions you have though? are they going to go the same route?

Ric Flair gets the first World title shot by virtue of being the Continental American champion. After that, though, that belt will be retired, as will the World Cruiserweight title. The new format I'll be using doesn't seem to lend itself to much more than the World Heavyweight and Tag Team titles, as the very nature of competition will result in high wrestler turnover. Mainly, the less I have to keep track of, the better. Thank you for your support!

It's a shame you've ended the weekly shows, but you must promote in the way that makes you happy. The Tournament format will be Fun to follow and it'll be interesting to see how it will effect the Wrestlers Contending for the Gold and the Wrestlers who defend their Championships...
My Picks are...
GIANT BABA over Killer Tim Brooks SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM over Lou Thesz MIL MASCARAS over Jack Brisco HULK HOGAN over Zodiac
RIC FLAIR over Stone Cold Steve Austin
ROAD WARRIORS over Fabulous Kangaroos
NEW ZEALAND SHEEPHERDERS over Valiant Brothers

What would make me happy is doing it weekly like I was doing, but I gotta sleep sometime. With this format, it'll cut down on paperwork and rotate wrestlers in and out a little faster.
Crimson, good picks, but we'll see how the dice roll. I may add that the quarterfinals will be followed by the semifinals and the finals, so feel free to pick your winners there, too.
Hint: By your picks, the semis would have Hogan vs. Baba and Mascaras vs. Graham.
