-CHARM CITY UPDATE-
-SEASON TWO got off to a solid start with it's first Anniversary show!
-BRODIE LEE tagged with newcomer GRIZZLY REDWOOD and shocked the field as they won the tag team title shot later in the evening against the BRISCOE BROTHERS. Even though they came up short they should be considered a serious threat to the tag straps.
- The self-professed "Drumline Daddy" ARCHIBALD PECK made his debut as well last night and gained somewhat of an upset over SARA DEL REY. No question this one isn't finished by a long shot but Peck was able to get his hand raised even if it was with the help of his lovely majorette VERONICA.
-TIM DONST has chosen to fly solo this season as he searches for his true self. He gained some clarity with a very hard fought win over the serpent OPHIDIAN.
-The ants came marching in as they looked very impressive against THE BATIRI. Watch out for these young masked men as they look to take Charm City by storm.
-DELIRIOUS resurfaced and was matched against fan favorite EL GENERICO. No one had seen the bizarre Delirious since the end of season one and he still seems a bit confused. After his loss to the generic luchador he viciously attacked him. Is he still under someone else's control or is this simply his true nature?
-ICARUS was very tough as he unexpectedly got the best of CHUCK TAYLOR. The match was oddly one-sided and you have to wonder if Taylor was ready for what his former partner was ready to dish out.
-BRYAN DANIELSON is now one step closer to his goal of becoming the Heavyweight champion as he earned the first title shot against EDDIE KINGSTON. The Dragon appears ready to make the most of his chance.

1) Green Ant defeated Kobald by DISQUALIFICATION @ 6:25 when Kodama & Obariyon attacked Green Ant who had the Chikara Special locked in.
Kobald was ahead on points..if one were to score that way until Green Ant dodged a leap from the top rope and applied his submission move. The two remaining Batiri pounced and stomped and kicked away until Fire Ant and Soldier Ant hit the ring to even the odds. A pier six developed but the brothers in paint were able to isolate Green Ant. They hit a Flying DDT on to a folding chair in the ring. Green Ant was motionless until security helped break it up.
2) Dasher Hatfield pinned Tim Donst with the GRANDSLAM @ 11:45.
Donst was in control for most of the match. He missed a Deathjump and Hatfield quickly took advantage and finally finished things off with the top rope powerslam. for the win.
3) The Roughnecks defeated The Osirian Portal when Grizzly Redwood pinned Ophidian using ROUGHNECKED @ 15:40.
A five-star match the deserves a return between these two. In the end after numerous multiple falls for both teams. The end came after the tag finisher was hit.
-CCW Crusierweight Title Match- 4) Jigsaw (c) defeated Icarus with the JIG N' TONIC @ 17:01 after Chuck Taylor interfered.
Icarus was very close to capturing the crown but once the ref got in the way of a turnbuckle whip he was unable to spot Chuck Taylor entering the ring and exchanging fists with his former partner. This gave time for Jigsaw to recover and as Icarus backdrop Taylor out of the ring he was caught with a Superkick into the masked man's pet hold.
5)Sugar Dunkerton pinned Archibald Peck (w/ Veronica) with AIR DUNKERTON @ 5:35
Dunkerton almost had a quick win until Veronica distracted the official. This caused Sara Del Rey to come to ringside and and she chased her all the way back to the locker. This time Peck was distracted and his got his with two Converses to the face. Sugar then hit Air Dunkerton again and got the pinfall.
6) Claudio Castagnoli (w/Larry Sweeney) defeated "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush with the RICOLA BOMB @ 4:05.
The Swiss superstar made surprising short work of the Man of a Thousand Holds. Sweeney took the mic and issued a challenge to the winner of the Kingston-Danielson Main Event. Sweeney then called out Commissioner Cox who told Sweeney that his man would get the loser of Tonight's Main Event for a chance at a title shot.
7) Obariyon & Kodama (w/Kobald) and Fire Ant & Soldier Ant Fought to a DOUBLE-DISQUALIFICATION @ 7:52.
Green Ant was unable to join his teammates for the match but after a wild brawl resulted in both teams getting disqualified he rushed to the ring with a chair to clean house. The Batiri were hoping to spike Fire on the chair just as they did to Green at the start of the night.
-CCW Heavyweight Title Match-
8) "War King" Eddie Kingston (c) beat "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson by COUNTOUT @ 18:01.
An exciting match that saw Kingston take things to the outside. He landed a Backdrop Driver on to the concrete and Danielson's head bounced badly on the surface. He was out cold. The ref convinced Kingston to roll back into the ring and had no trouble counting out the challenger. Danielson needed assistance to the back and looked in rough shape.

Kingston vs. Danielson sounded like a war and what a finish. Claudio Castagnoli with a nice win so it looks like him versus Danielson for the next title shot. I enjoy reading your fed results and i am looking forward to upcoming shows.

-Appreciate the comments cruefan68. Glad to know people are following.
-CHARM CITY UPDATE-
*The rivalry between The Colony and The Batiri took an interesting turn at "Vulgar Display of Power. Green Ant was carried to the back and the tag match between Soldier & Fire against Kodama & Obariyon ended in a no-decision. After the match the demons looked ready to take out Fire Ant as well. Score this round to The Batiri.
*Tim Donst was unable to put a winning streak together as he took the loss to Dasher Hatfield. Donst was pouting on the way back to the ring and really seems to be fighting himself in the ring.
*The Roughnecks continue to roll and edged The Osirian Portal in a fantastic tag match. A re-match was already demanded by the Egyptian clan for next card.
*Jigsaw held on to his title, just barely over Icarus. It certainly helped that he received some indirect help from Chuck Taylor who appears ready to take the fight right back at his former partner.
*Archibald Peck took the loss to the other half of The Throwbacks in Sugar Dunkerton. This Peck is one odd character and he needed some consoling after his defeat.
*Claudio Castagnoli is ready for his title shot as he made quick work of Mike Quackenbush. Right now the Swiss stalwart seems ready to take the gold.
*Eddie Kingston showed that he'll do anything to hold on to his title from brawling into the crowd, using chairs or dropping his opponents through tables. Once again Bryan Danielson comes up short in his quest for a belt.

1) Kodama beat Soldier Ant by DISQUALIFICATION @ 8:45 when he continued to pound away on his opponent and pushed the ref to the floor.

2) Tim Donst pinned "Kentucky Gentleman" Chuck Taylor with the SDT @ 5:20 after Icarus interfered.
Donst was back in the win column with a little help from Icarus. Donst distracted the official and Icarus threw white powder into Taylor's eyes. He turned around blinded and fell into the SDT.
3) The Throwbacks defeated Los Ice Creams when Sugar Dunkerton pinned Ice Cream Jr. after the GRANDSLAM DUNK @ 17:02.
A very good match where the masked Mexicans gave out quite a bit of punishment. The end saw the ref restore order and march El Hijo Del Ice Cream to his corner only to allow another huge double team move that ended the match and gave The Throwbacks the win.
4) Delirious pinned Sara Del Rey with SHADOWS OVER HELL @ 6:52.
The masked man continued his aggressive style and at times overwhelmed Del Rey with offense. He finished things off with a flying splash from the turnbuckles to get the win. After the match he continued his attack until EL GENERICO made the save.
-CCW Tag Team Title Match- 5) Jay & Mark Briscoe (c) defeated Ultramantis Black & Hallowicked when Jay pinned Hallowicked after a SPIKE JAY DRILLER @ 13:25.
The dark masked duo isolated Mark and worked him over with several high impact moves. He recovered and made the tag which led to all four men battling in the ring. Mark sent Mantis to the floor with a clothesline and then nailed Hallowicked with some redneck kung fu. Then he and his brother set up their opponent for a vicious spike underhook piledriver to retain the belts.
6) El Generico pinned Obariyon with a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER @ 4:45.
A missed dive by the face painted demon left him wide open to attack. Generico finished things off with a jumping brainbuster. Almost immediately following the pin Delirous had hit the ring with a chair. He smashed Generico numerous times until Sara Del Rey, Mike Quackenbush, and The Colony cleared him from the ring.
7) The Osirian Portal defeated The Roughnecks when Amasis pinned Brodie Lee with the EGYPTIAN CONNIPTION @ 11:12.
The Portal seemed ready to take the fight to their opponents in this re-match. They even utilized the Snake Charmer to the delight of the fans which led to the finish and a win for the "Egyptians".
-CCW Heavyweight Title Match- 8) "War King" Eddie Kingston (c) and Claudio Castagnoli (w/Larry Sweeney) fought to a DOUBLE-DISQUALIFICATION @ 12:35.
Claudio overwhelmed Kingston early but as usual the champion fought back. Kingston used stinging chops and soon the match was on the floor. Both men went right at each other and soon the ref had lost total control.

CHARM CITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING February 12, 2012 Greenbelt,Maryland Greenbelt Community Center "13 STEPS TO NOWHERE" Season Two - Card #4 (#35)
*Commissioner Charlie Cox was out to run down tonight's card and he was almost immediately interrupted by Bryan Danielson. Danielson said that he deserved another shot at the Heavyweight title held by Eddie Kingston. The fans were behind his request and after some thought Cox agreed. But it would be in Bel Air on March 16th at "STRENGTH BEYOND STRENGTH". This announcement then brought out Larry Sweeney and Claudio Castagnoli. Sweeney was irate and said that the only reason Claudio doesn't have the belt right now is because Kingston got himself disqualified. He deserves another crack more than him. Cox then agrees to a Triangle elimination match - last man standing is the champion. The fans cheer as the wrestlers head back to the locker room after some jawing.
-FOUR WAY ELIMINATION- TOP CONTENDERS MATCH- 1) Tim Donst defeated Icarus, El Generico, & "Kentucky Gentleman" Chuck Taylor @ 12:25 to win the title shot at Jigsaw.
*Icarus pinned El Generico with the WINGS OF ICARUS @ 6:15. *Tim Donst pinned Icarus with the STO @ 9:45. *Tim Donst pinned Chuck Taylor with the SDT @ 12:25.
A match filled with plenty of fast paced action. Donst appeared more confident than ever and looks ready to maybe take the title tonight.
2) Grizzly Redwood defeated Johnny Gargano @ 10:50 when he rolled through a CROSS BODY BLOCK from the top rope.
Gargano, making his CCW debut had trouble with the confident Redwood. He was only able to rally late and got caught on a body press from the top rope and ended up on the losing end.
3) The Osirian Portal defeated Los Ice Creams when Amasis pinned Ice Cream Jr. with the TWIST OF FUNK @ 7:03.
The Portal were in control for most of the match. After the fall, The Roughnecks charged the ring and tossed Amasis to the concrete. They then doubled Ophidian and Lee hit three Power Bombs on him with Redwood directed traffic. CCW officials hit the scene and broke up the attack.
4) Sara Del Rey defeated Archibald Peck (w/Veronica) by COUNTOUT @ 8:35.
Peck delivered almost no offense in this return match. Del Rey dominated the action and beat Peck senseless. Veronica tried to intervene but she was chased away by Del Rey. The finish saw Del Rey hit a German suplex through a table! Peck was easily counted out and needed help to get to the back.
5) Delirious pinned Green Ant with the PANIC ATTACK @ 9:25.
The Ant put up a game fight but eventually could not subdue the wild masked man. During the match Ultramantis Black was out at ringside and nodded his head in approval at Delirious' victory.
6) Obariyon & Kodama (w/Kobald) defeated Fire Ant & Soldier Ant when Obariyon pinned Soldier with the FLYING DDT @ 16:45 after Kobald interfered.
Another chapter in the Colony/Batiri feud. This time the demonic trio pick up the duke. Kobald tripped up Soldier and he fell right into the DDT.
7) Hallowicked (w/Ultramantis Black) pinned "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush with the GRAVEYARD SMASH @ 14:45.
A very good match that saw Black distract Quackenbush enough to allow his charge to gain the three count. After the match Mantis took the mic and offered Delirious a chance to sit down and discuss his future with the Order.
-CCW Crusierweight Title Match- 8) Jigsaw (c) pinned Tim Donst with a CROSS BODY off the top rope @ 11:20.
Jigsaw was able to barely maintain his title with some high risk moves. Donst froze a bit after he realized he lost and then suddenly snapped. He stomped away and hit the Donstitution several times. He then started to work on the mask and this brought out several wrestlers - old rival Mike Quackenbush for one. Donst wandered away towards the back as medics helped Jigsaw.
