Card 200 PPV – Champions of the Galaxy IV
Live From Cetus
Commander Sam vs.
Iron Sheik- This is one of the few feuds that have held over from the “Earth Xplosion Tour”. Commander Sam has returned to the GWF for one for run and to defend Americas honour galaxy-wide. He made his return on Card 194, coming to the aid of American Forces, US Male and Pride when they were triple teamed by Iron Sheik, Yokozuna and Ludvig Borga.
Commander Sam dominated the Iron Sheik with his trademark power offense before putting him away with the ATOMIC DROP.
WINNER: Commander Sam by pinfall at 4:05
Phoenix Rising (Matador of M83 and Janus the Overman) vs.
Future AD (Austin Aries and Byan Danielson)
- This was Janus’ debut match in the GWF, and he certainly made the most of it. He dominated Austin Aries in the opening minutes and almost scored a victory with the GORDIAN KNOT, but Danielson made the save. This was a good tag match featuring some exciting back and forth; however, Phoenix Rising controlled the majority of it. Janus the Overman was able to get Bryan Danielson to submit to the GORDIAN KNOT around the 15 minute mark. Matador kept Aries from making the save.
WINNERS: Phoenix Rising by submission at 14:51
Tables Match (one of my personal dream matches)
Sabu vs.
Payback- Sabu ducked a roundhouse punch and landed one of his own. He gave Payback a piledriver and then slid two tables into the ring! he set them up on top of each other and rolled Payback on top. Sabu then climbed to the top buckle and dove off... and connects!!!!!! - BOTH men go crashing through the two tables!!!! Sabu puts his arm over Payback for the cover.... NO!!! He kicks out! (PIN 3/roll 5).
TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT (+3)!! ... NO!!!!! Payback again kicks out!!!!! (PIN 6/roll 7)
The two exchange a few moves before Payback reverses a piledriver attempt by back dropping Sabu over the top to the outside and then following it up with a Suicide Moonsault!
The Fans love it!!!!
Payback takes Sabu to slams his head into a table at ringside. He rolls Sabu into the ring and then gives him a Belly to Belly Suplex over the top ropes and through that table!! Payback then takes a broken piece of the table and uses it as a battering ram on Sabu. Payback leans a table against the ring post and tries to whip Sabu into it... but the move is reversed! Sabu then grabs a chair and gives Payback an Arabian Facebuster!!!
A Slingshot legdrop back inside the ring and the cover.... NO!!! Payback kicks out!
Sabu then applies the CAMEL CLUTCH. Payback is struggling to get free... and somehow he manages to get a leg on the ropes to break the hold. (PIN 7/ roll8). Sabu then sets up a chair for the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT... but misses!! (rolled a 4). Payback responds with a Table Splash and Payback Time...Sabu is in trouble!!!
Another table brought into the ring and Sabu is driven through it by a Table Splash. The cover.... NO!!!!!
SABU KICKED OUT!!!! (PIN 6/roll 7)
The two stars take turns smashing broken table pieces over each others heads, before Payback hits another Payback Time!
He sets up a table outside the ring and places Sabu on it. Payback with a suicide dive... but Sabu moves and Payback goes crashing through the table!!!
The two superstars are battered and bruised yet they continue to fight! After a few more back and forth moves, Payback hits a Pump Handle Slam and goes for EXVENGE... and misses!!! (Rolled a 5). They exchange moves and again Payback misses the EXVENGE (roll 5).
Both men are down!!!
Sabu is up first and lands the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT (+5). It’s over.
WINNER: Sabu by pinfall at 23:16(Promoters note: This was EVERYTHING I had hoped it would be)
Gerald Newton Interviews:
John CenaJohn Cena came out to a positive reaction from the fans. He recently won an 8-man tournament to win a one (1) year GWF Active Roster Contract that includes matches against the IP Champion and GWF Champion (his W-L record will determine if they are title bouts). He had a few things to say to the GWF:
1- GWF… The CHAMP is HERE!!! (loud, positive reaction from fans)
2 – Talked about looking forward to facing the top talent in the Galaxy here in the GWF
3 - Said he has “Done it all” in every promotion he has wrestled for… and GWF will be no different!
4 – Cena announced he will make his “active roster debut” on Card #201!
GWF Tag Team Championship Match, No DQ
-
Spike/Paralyze(c) vs.
The Terrible Two (Monolith and Xiongmao), accompanied by Vin Strutter
This is a re-match from Card 190 – Galactic Bash; where The Terrible Two were DQ’d for using the highly controversial PANDAMONIUM on Spike; keeping the Aethrian out of action since then. In the meantime Paralyze has battled Monolith in two hard fought slobber-knockers; with each wrestler winning once. This feud has reached a boiling point; and tonight’s match is No DQ. Spike and Paralyze have DOMINATED the GWF Tag Team Division for the last 2+ years and Vin Strutter claims that will end tonight.
WOW What a slobberknocker!!! These two teams of BIG men slugged it out. The Terrible Two dominated the opening minutes of this match and kept Spike in the ring accumulating 4 fatigue tokens before he was able to tag in Paralyze (the 4th being a megaphone shot to the head by Strutter that busted him open)!! Paralyze would enter and turn things in the Champs favour. He even landed the PARALYZER on Xiongmao, but the big man was able to put his foot on the ropes to escape the pin.
More back and forth action saw both teams accumulate many tokens, with near falls a plenty. By the end of this hard hitting match, everyones PIN was a 7 or higher with the exception of Monolith (his was a 2).
The end saw Spike re-enter the fray and connect with a surprise power slam on Xiongmao to score the pinfall.
WINNERS: Spike/Paralyze by pinfall at 18:18 – retain titles
Manitou vs.
Lance At-Las- Similar to Wolf, Lance has struggled and languished in mediocrity for most of his GWF career. Since Card 190 – Galactic Bash, Lance has had an attitude change and seems to think he is the “Greatest in the Galaxy”; and vows to prove it by calling out/challenging Manitou to this match at the GWFs premier event. Manitou hasn’t been in action since his BRUTAL title match with Alexander the Grater at Card 180 – Last Man Standing. Lance has taken issue with Manitou’s ability to “seemingly come and go as he pleases”. Lance called Manitou every name in the book to lure him back for this match; and even attacked Manitou’s friend Vanity! Manitou has told Lance to “Be careful… if you piss me off, I’ll make you famous!”
These two stared each other down to start and Lance mouthed off causing Manitou to hit a massive choke slam for a fear fall!!
A big boot led to a Bear Hug by Manitou that he seemed to hold for a while before dropping Lance to the mat and hitting a clothesline off the top rope.
More power moves by Manitou including a trademark running spear, and standing dropkick (an impressive feat from a 6’10, 300lbs monster!!) before he landed the SIT DOWN POWERBOMB for the win. A DOMINANT return. Lance had NO offense.
WINNER: Manitou by pinfall at 5:29GWF Interplanetary ChampionshipStud Williams(c), accompanied by Phantasy vs.
Endgame, accompanied by Thantos
- This was supposed to be the Stud vs. Thantos re-match from Card 190 – Galactic Bash. It was then changed to a IP title match when Stud Williams won the IP title (and became only the 3rd Grand Slam Champion in Federation history) on Card 195. Then, after Thantos was destroyed by GWF Champion Alexander the Grater on Card 196, it was revealed that he had a neck injury and would be out of action for 10-12 months!!!
Thantos petitioned the GWF to allow him to choose who would take his place since he had signed the contract; and promptly revealed his Protégé – “The Next Big Thing” – ENDGAME!
Endgame defeated Wolf soundly and also dominated Davey Storm in recent weeks. He has had tryout matches in the GWF before, but Thantos has promised success since he has taught Endgame a NEW Submission finisher – the ROLLING FIGURE FOUR!
Stud Williams ducked a forearm smash and landed a crescent kick right on Endgames jaw for a near fall. This was an excellent and forth match, with the two Superstars trading moves and pinfall attempts. Stud Williams would survive the UNTIMA LEAP, and during an exchange in the ring, caught Endgame with a boot to the face and the STUD SLAM for a 3 count. Phantasy was able to hit a low blow on Thantos to keep him from interfering.
WINNER: Stud Williams by pinfall at 12:03 – retains title. Tag Team Grudge Match
Montana Machismo/Star Warrior vs.
Omega/Adrian “Harm” Harmon- This has been building all year. Ever since Montana Machismo debuted he has had an issue with Omega; and has joined forces with Omega’s wayward son – The Franchise Star Warrior!!
Warrior injured Harm after a stunning upset loss, and destroyed his knee. Harm has been told he shouldn’t wrestle as he could blow out his knee (it’s been replaced); and Omega has agreed to set into the ring for this ONE LAST TIME.
The fans went ballistic when Omega came to the ring with Harm. Cetus’ favorite son was honored back on Card 167 here, “Omega Night”.
Boo’s and even Garbage was tossed at Montana Machismo and Star Warrior as they strutted to the ring.
Omega started things off in the ring… against his son; Star Warrior.
The opening minutes belonged to the “bad guys”. Star Warrior and Montana Machismo used frequent tags to keep Omega isolated in the ring and on the receiving end of a lot of punishment. Omega was able to make a hot tag after about 8 minutes of punishment. Ham entered against Star Warrior and was a “house of fire” until a well-timed “low blow” evened the score. Warrior would land a NOVA LAUNCH while Montana Machismo attacked Omega, and this one was history.

Special Attraction Match:
Rob Van Dam vs.
Party Harty- There were plenty of rumors heading into this special attracting match that RVD was not happy with what he was getting paid for this event. While fans had visions of an instant classic in their heads, RVD apparently had visions of dollar signs in his…
Three moves by Party Harty before he landed THE BOMBED SWAN on an un-interested looking RVD who made no attempt to avoid the maneuver or even kick out! (snake eyes roll) Fans boo’d and threw trash as he walked to the back saying he was the “Whole F’N Show” and deserved to be paid more.
WINNER: Party Harty by pinfall.
MAIN EVENT MATCH
GWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Alexander the Grater (c), accompanied by Vin Strutter vs.
Big Superstar- For the fourth (4th) year in a row, Big Superstar was in a GF title match at the biggest event of the year, and as the challenger for the second (2nd) time.
Superstar came out to his usual fanfare as the crowd nearly blew the roof off the arena – he received an even louder ovation than Omega did! Grater came out doing his usual shtick of “whose the man!?!?!?” while Vin Strutter strutted around like a peacock.
Alexander the Grater first won the GWF title from Big Superstar back on Card 167, back when Superstar had a minor injury… he was fully healed tonight. The two big men fought tooth and nail, hitting each other with everything they had, both inside the ring and out. Grater would kick out of the SUPERSTAR DROP, and Superstar would escape the GRATER BOMB.
After thrilling the fans with a wild brawl for about 20-25 minutes, Grater would give Superstar two consecutive power bombs on the concrete floor before pinning the fan favorite in the center of the ring to retain the title with a CLEAN VICTORY.
Grater would stand victorious in the ring holding the title high yelling “Whose the Man!?!” and “He ain’t nothing!!”
WOW. Grater continues to dominate the GWF…
WINNER: Alexander the Grater – retains GWF Championship
