Manitou won the gold. I didn't see that coming. I though Alexander had the title on lock. Even stranger...Vigilante beat Stud Williams AND Avalanche. Me = gobsmacked. Endgame was on a serious roll....until Muscle Freak smashed him. LOL A great sequence of cards my friend. I really like how you summarized the 10 cards to give me an idea of what went on without overwhelming me with excessive details. Looking forward to the next 10! Thanks bro!!! I'm about to post the next 10!

Wow, so much going on in this installment!
Mantis defeated Bryan Danielson - incredible!
Muscle Freak lost to Alexander the Grater on #212, but comes out of the tournament with the belt - awesome!
John Cena was on a run...until the triple threat match where Alexander the Grater chewed him up. LOL! In true Cena fashion, he got right back in the win column and started a new streak. Watch this guy - he will be contending for a title soon.
Not sure how Donst over Terror was an upset, but it was so nice he did it twice and banked $25K in the process.
Congrats to Macho Man for winning the IP Title on the night when the LOW talent exchange was announced - appropriate!
Big Superstar gets a big win over Alexander the Grater - something tells me that this is far from over.
Good to see Muscle Freak put Chaos down again! I loved him back in the day - good to see him still tearing it up!
All in all, another great series of cards. Looking forward to the next series my friend!

I loved him back in the day - good to see him still tearing it up! All in all, another great series of cards. Looking forward to the next series my friend! Thanks bro!!! Yeah this was a fun section to play back when I rolled it out. I see Donst over Terror as big upsets given how great Terror was for my fed back when I first got it way back in the day. Despite having done nothing of real note since I re-started my fed and began posting on here before, Comrade Terror is a 3X GWF Champion, 4X IP Champions, and the 1st ever HM Champion... Yea the Muscle Freak was/is on a HUGE roll, and I loved having him "own" Chaos the way he did defeating the Indestructible twice. I am so happy he evolved into the megastar that I envisioned when I created him. Savage and Cena will continue to figure in my Feds results for the rest of 2099! I finally have 2099 all typed up so after a few more posts everyone will be up to date with where I am rolling. Then regular posts can resume

It's great to see your back my friend and the action was very cool. Party Harty teaming with The Sandman is a great pairing even though they lost. Harty has Disasters number with winning, but man Disaster crushed him bad. You continue to have a very cool blend of wrestlers in your fed, fun stuff...

GWF 2099
Card 249 – Champions of the Galaxy V Preview
Franchise Brothers (Star Warrior and Alpha Force) vs. The Road Warriors - This match was signed a few weeks ago. Both teams are looking to advance in the Tag Team rankings and get themselves a title match. The Road Warriors had a 5-star classic against Spike/Paralyze back at Card 234 (MSG Supercard), while the Franchise Brothers have been dominating the planet Earth recently, representing the GWF as part of the talent exchange. A win here should propel either team into title contention.
Alexander the Grater vs. Bret “Hitman” Hart - It has been an up and down year for Grater. He lost the GWF Championship to Manitou early on, and at times has looked beatable; while others looking like the “Warship of Mass Destruction” that his manager Vin Strutter claims he is. Grater took offense to Bret and his father getting TV time back on Card 246 to announce Bret signing a GWF Contract, and attacked them with the savagery and brutality he is known for. Stu Hart is in the hospital, and Jim Neidhart is out with injuries. Bret has demanded that his first match as a GWF Wrestler be against Alexander the Grater. The “Excellence of Execution” will be out to avenge his family, and has previously defeated GWF Superstar Wolf in singles competition back on Card 190.
Lumberjack Match: Comrade Terror vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper - This has been brewing all year. Comrade Terror hates everyone from Earth and had an Open Challenge back on the MSG Supershow (Card 234) that Piper Accepted, and won by DQ. They also met in a brutal and bloody Dog Collar match back on Card 240 Galactic Bash that Comrade Terror won. This will put their feud to rest once and for all. Reptile Nation (Serpent Unman, Mangus, Reptillo and Tongsoon) will be the Lumberjacks for Terror, while Piper will have LOW stars DDP, Tim Donst, Cowboy Bob Orton and Austin Ares on his side.
GWF Tag Team Championship: Phoenix Rising (c) vs. Spike/Paralyze - This is the HUGE re-match between these two teams. This will be the third meeting between them in 2099 for the Tag Belts. Spike and Paralyze defended the gold against Phoenix Rising back on Card 210 – StarrClash, and then Phoenix Rising defeated The Gladiator duo back on Card 242 to end their historic 490 day, 70 week run as Tag Champs! Both bouts were stellar and this one should be no exception. Will the former Champs regain the belts they have owned since mid-2096 (including 2 separate year-long reigns) or can Phoenix Rising usher in a new era of tag team wrestling in the GWF?
Stud Williams vs. John Cena - “The Champ” has had a pretty good first year in the GWF. He defeated the reigning GWF Champion Alexander the Grater in a non-title match early on, and did win the IP title holding it for 8 weeks before Montana Machismo destroyed him for it. Most of his feuds were against top level talent with the Cenation leader coming out as victor most of the time. Stud Williams, on the other hand, has had a trying year. He started as IP Champ and failed to get any real momentum after losing the belt. He lost all his matches with Bryan Danielson (three of them), and just seemed to be “off his game” all year. Some have been speculating that the “Simply Remarkable” one may be nearing the end of the road. Blaming LOW participants like Cena, Stud Williams is looking to end this year on a high note and head into 2100 back in his old form.
Three Stages of Hell: Disaster vs. Party Harty 1st Stage: No DQ 2nd Stage: Tables 3rd Stage: Steel Cage - This will be one heck of a wild affair! Disaster has been DOMINANT in his rookie year, racking up a W/L record (Singles matches) of 18-3 to date. Two of his losses were against Party Harty, whom he did put out of action for 8 weeks at one point. Their feud has quickly become highly intense and very personal. This is the 5th match between them, with the current score 2-2! Harty’s high flying, reckless style seems to counteract Disasters power based attack quite well. Fans are chomping at the bit for this one. Neither combatant will likely ever be the same as under GWF Rules the match will go ALL Three Stages, regardless of who wins them.
GWF IP Championship: Montana Machismo (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - This match has been 100% decided by the dice. Both Superstars have been “on a roll”, with Montana Machismo defeating Alexander the Grater twice, cleanly, and also pinning John Cena in an old fashioned arse whooping to win the gold; both as part of an 8 match winning streak since Card 234. He has been unstoppable! Bryan Danielson has been winning all year highlighted by a 3-0 W/L record against Stud Williams in the process, and victories against the 2099 last Man Standing Ted Dibiase. Something has to give as there can only be one winner and one IP Champion, so somebody’s winning ways will come to a crashing halt at Champions of the Galaxy V.
DOUBLE MAIN EVENT
#1 – GWF Championship Match: The Muscle Freak (c) vs. Macho Man Randy Savage - This has been brewing since Card 230 – Last Man Standing: Lethal Lottery, in the “All titles on the line” match. Macho Man was pinned by Paralyze to lose the GWF IP title, and injured in the process. He blamed Muscle Freak citing that Freak was too busy protecting his GWF title to make the pinsave. Since then, Macho Man has been a constant thorn in Muscle Freaks side, interfering in matches and attacking the Champion at every turn. The Muscle Freak won the GWF title back on Card 214, in an emergency 16-man tourney, after Manitou’s injury and has not looked back. He’s defeated Chaos the Indestructible (twice) Manitou, and Ted Dibiase in Championship defenses, to name a few. Will the Muscle Freaks power based attack or Macho Man’s ariel/technical attack prevail. We will soon find out.
#2 – One Night Only: Andre the Giant vs. Big Superstar - The 8th wonder of the planet Earth, Andre the Giant makes his GWF debut for this one night, one match. Fans have been highly anticipating this for a long time. His opponent, Big Superstar, is a former 3x GWF Champion and his contract expires after Card 250 – CotGV. Superstar has been wrestling larger opponents in recent months to prepare for this bout, after taking time off to make movies. He has not seemed the same after losing the GWF title to Alexander the Grater back on Card 167. Will this in fact be his last ever GWF match? If so will he go out as a winner? These questions and many more will finally be answered on Card 250 – Champions of the Galaxy V, only on PPV!
