Back at ringside, it is bedlam as the fans are refusing to settle down. We are backstage with Thantos who confronts Commission Carter demanding a rematch with Pit Viper. Carter immediately changes the subject and askes Thantos if he had anything to do with tonight’s attack on Beast-Rider and Thantos says whether Carter likes it or not, everything that happens in the GWF is because of the deception that Omega and his followers have spread and until Omega is finished Carter will continue to endure events like those that have taken place tonight.
Match 5: Gladiator Massacare v. Actagon Nice ovation for one half of the Galaxian Tag Team Champions. This is a preview of the main event for 2087.08.08 when the Greek Gods will defend the Titles against the Gladiators of Aethra. No Brute or Proteus at ringside to start off. Another awesome card! I'm loving the Exo-King stuff. I think Exo-King will be able to muster the win at the 8/8 event; I hope so anyway because the title match would be a whopper.

Wow, what a card!
It's only 2087 and Killer Queen is already a Giant Killer in your fed.
The Vanity and Renegade bits were great. The only thing better than seeing Vanity body slammed into an announcer's table is watching Renegade do the honors. But then a suspension? The commish should know better; that's not going to slow down Renegade.
I called that Exo-King match. It looked like a really close one though.

Having reached the half way point of the 2087 season I thought I would provide some thoughts on what has happened so far. You can call it my mid season report.
Item #1: Suspensions and Injuries I can see why Tom did not introduce a Commissioner to the GWF until there was a significant number of wrestlers to work with. No fewer than 5 competitors are currently under suspension (The entire Society of Death, Wolf and Renegade) and a total of 5 wrestlers (Pit Viper, Executioner, Vanity and the Greek Gods) are competing or have competed with injuries. In addition, Vanity & Killer Queen face a possible suspension on Card 11 and the Gladiators will hear their fate on card 13 and 14. With so many competitors unavailable, keeping the booking fresh has become a challenge especially when the dice do not co-operate (see the identical ending to the Nexus-Warrior battles to see what I mean).
Item #2: Exo-King is the King of the ring While Thantos has stayed in the background it is King who has become the face of the heels on the Holovision card after card. He is the one who has emerged from the pack and been involved in the main event angles. Thantos may be making the snowballs, but it is the King who is throwing them.
Item #3: The Gladiators are the ultimate destructive force They started slow and even had a locker room brawl against one another but in the end Brute and Massacre have rendered the tag team division to dust nearly crippling the Greek Gods in the process. Looking ahead, there is no doubt that the Gladiators will be spending some time under suspension and will likely be stripped of the titles. If that happens, Commissioner Carter may have just created himself more of problem by making the Gladiators mad. Who will stop them if that happens?
Item #4: No Star Warrior v. Thantos… yet How is it possible that the biggest feud in the official storyline has not developed in my fed yet. Yes they battled in tag team action on three occasions but the big singles match has not taken place. It was originally booked for Battle for the Belts but that was changed to a tag team match so the singles match would not take away from the significance of the finals of the two title tournaments. Over the last few cards, Warrior has been involved in the Title chase and Thantos has struggled even dropping a singles match to an injured Pit Viper. I want their first match to a big deal and so far opportunity has not presented itself.

Match 4: Commander Sam v. Comrade Terror The fans are exhausted after the last match but still have enough left to give it Terror when he gets on the mic and runs down living in the asteroid belt. It is back and forth early on. Terror rebounds off the ropes with a flying shoulder tackle and sends Sam to the floor with a flying skullcrusher. Terror comes off the ropes with a falling body block onto Sam at ringside and both men go down hard. Terror recovers first but both men beat the 10 count back inside. Terror tosses Sam to the floor and follows him outside starting a wild brawl. Sam shoves the referee to the floor when the official tries to break things up and is disqualified. We look back at Exo-King’s interference in Star Warrior’s matches with Galaxian Champion Lord Nexus.
Match 5: Exo-King v. Star Warrior Both men are surprised to find Commissioner Carter waiting in the ring. Carter announces that he has appointed a special guest referee for this match.
