Thanks CC and Dustin!
2087.14.14 – Kobe Battle Arena, Neo-Kobe Asteroid, Asteroid Belt
Commissioner Carter opens the show and announces that the Gladiators of Aethra have been suspended for four cards and fined $10,000.00 each for their actions at the Great Galaxian Bash. The suspension will run at the same time as their current suspension so the Gladiators will not miss any additional time. Carter tells up that the Space Croppers, Greek Gods and the returning team of Vanity & Killer Queen have spots in next cards Tag Team Title Tournament.
Match 1: Thantos v. Beast-Rider Rider thrills the fans with a small fury exhibit from his zoo on Neptune. No one is giving him a chance tonight considering he is not full recovered from injuries suffered at the hands of Vanity & Killer Queen and that he is facing the Gamesmaster. Rider sends Thantos into the ropes to start the action off but Thantos counters a piledriver with a backdrop. Thantos rams a chair into Rider’s leg at ringside and then plants Rider in the middle of the ring with a full power slam for a 1 count (R10/P5). It is all Thantos. Rider counters a body slam and tries a figure four but Thantos kicks him off and crushes him with a full nelson suplex (ch) for a 1 count (R11/P6). Thantos rams Rider’s face into the ringside table and then mounts the corner for a deathjump smash right into Rider’s boot. The crowd explodes. The advantage is short lived as Thantos regains control at ringside. Later, a full powerslam sends Rider to the floor. Thantos drops Rider at ringside with a chairshot across the back and Rider cannot recover and is counter out of the ring.
We are in the back with the Society of Death who are making their return after a 10 card suspension. Krakan is ready to compete and makes his way to the ring.
Renegade is with a dazed Beast-Rider backstage. Medical staff arrive and Rider tells Renegade not to worry about him and get out to the ring.
Match 2: Renegade v. Invincible Krakan Nice ovation for Renegade from ringside during the introductions. The fans have not forgotten to hate Krakan during his absence. Krakan shows little ring rust avoiding Renegade’s charge into the corner and rolling the Space Cropper up for a quick 1 count (R9/P3). Krakan takes control and nearly ends it with a full nelson suplex (R7/P4). A Krakan Skullcrusher forces Renegade to the floor and action turns around when Renegade counters a falling double hammer with a punch. Renegade cannot take advantage of the opportunity and Krakan regains control and downs Renegade with a Krakan Skullcrusher for a 2 count (R8/P5). Renegade counters an illegal choke hold and Irish whips Krakan into the corner and follows in for a tackle but Krakan moves aside and Renegade hits the corner at top speed. Krakan hooks the leg for the three count (R3/P6).
The Flying Titans are watching the action from the back and are disappointed with the outcome. Pit Viper is fired up and cannot wait to get his hands on the Society of Death tonight!
Match 3: Executioner v. Massif Massif destroyed Executioner on the first card of the Asteroid Tour but Executioner has looked impressive with wins over both Space Croppers and is now full recovered from the injuries suffered at the hands of Wolf earlier this year. Massif overpowers Executioner from the bell but Executioner counters a backdrop with a piledriver. Illegal foreign object and Massif goes down hard. Cover for 1 (R11/P3). A bloody Massif stumbles into a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE and Executioner gets the three count (R4/P6). The crowd is all over Executioner after the bell.
We look back at 2087.03.03 and the Society of Death attack on Pit Viper including the FALLING FACE SLAM onto the arena floor!
Match 4: Pit Viper & Pulsar w/Lord Nexus v. Ghengis Khan & Mutant w/Invincible Krakan The crowd is electric during the introductions. Viper and Khan both miss moves perhaps due to nerves or ring rust and Viper takes control with a running slingshot. Both team make tags and the Society of Death cuts off Pulsar from his corner. Viper is able to finally tag in when Pulsar counter an illegal choke hold and Viper downs Khan with a Titan Drop for a 2 count (R8/P5). VENOM BLAST. Mutant makes the save. Full nelson suplex and Viper hooks the leg but Mutant makes the save. Pulsar is in and the Viper tags back in but Khan is able to counter a punch in the face and Mutant takes out Viper with an illegal choke hold for a 2 count (R6/P4). TEMPLE GRINDER and Viper submits (R5/P5). Where was Pulsar? Viper is furious after the match and shoves Pulsar but Lord Nexus steps into between his fellow Titans and cooler heads prevail.
We look back recent battles between Comrade Terror and Commander Sam and we are told that their third Hardcore Titan Death Match will take place at Cosmic Clash! We then look back at recent Lumberjack Matches between Death Knight & Omega.
Match 5: Omega & Commander Sam v. Comrade Terror & Death Knight Two of the hottest feuds in the Galaxy come together in this one. Omega starts against Terror and is quickly overpowers. Omega counters a clothesline with one of his own and both men go down. Terror works over Omega at ringside and then connects with a deathjump. ATOMIC WARHEAD. Sam makes the save. Terror tosses Omega to the floor and when Omega crawls back in Terror ends the match with an ATOMIC WARHEAD (R5/P8).
We look ahead to Cosmic Clash which will feature the tournament to determine the new Galaxian Tag Team Tournament and Commander Sam v. Comrade Terror in a Hardcore Titan Death Match. As well, the Galaxian Title will be defended when the wrestlers involved in the finish in tonight’s main event meet inside a Cosmic Cage!
Match 6: Galaxian Title Tirion Triple Threat Match – Exo-King (ch) v. Star Warrior v. Lord Nexus. King draws great heat demanding that the fans kneel before him. It is bedlam at the bell with all three men exchange blows. Nexus is tossed to the floor by King and when the champion turns around Warrior connects with a Running Star Blast. Cover. Nexus with a flying elbow smash onto Warrior. Nexus flips Warrior to the floor with a flying leg scissors but Warrior drags Nexus outside and Irish whips him into the steel post. Back inside, King whips Warrior into the corner but Warrior catches King with an elbow to the chin. Karate chop sets up a NOVA LAUNCH. Nexus breaks up the cover with an elbow smash on Warrior. Nexus hits a deathjump splash onto both Warrior and King! The crowd is on fire. Nexus tosses Warrior to the floor and hits King with a TITAN DROP. Warrior pulls Nexus off. Warrior rebounds off the ropes and hits Nexus with a cross body block and hooks the leg. King breaks up the cover. Lots of three way brawling. Galaxian Champion Star Warrior confronts Commissioner Carter in the back and tells him he does not feel right about Lord Nexus being shut out of the Galaxian Title Match. Warrior tells Carter that if it was not for the Society of Death, the outcome of the Tirion Triple Threat Match might have been different. Carter agrees and asks Warrior what he wants to do about that and Warrior asks Carter to make tonight’s Galaxian Title Match a Tirion Triple Threat Match instead of the Cosmic Cage Match. Carter nods and agrees but before Warrior leaves Carter tells him to wait a second. Tonight’s Galaxian Title Match will be a Tirion Triple Threat Match between Warrior, Exo-King and Lord Nexus inside a Cosmic Cage!
Match 3: Pulsar & Pit Viper v. Death Knight & Thantos The fans are behind the Titan Team from the opening bell and the Titans wisely cut of Knight from his partner. If there is any dissension between the Titans they are not showing it tonight. Viper downs Knight with a knee drop and tags in Pulsar who hits a WHIRLWIND for a near fall (R9/P7). Omega tags in to a solid reaction from ringside but is overpowered by Renegade. The Space Cropper tosses Omega to the floor and then falls onto the Omega at ringside with a falling body block. The crowd is all over Renegade but he dominates the action. The match goes to the floor again and Omega rams Renegade’s head off the ringside table. Massif tags back in and works over Renegade at ringside. Renegade eats the ringside rails and the referee comes out to get the action back inside but Renegade shoves the referee to the floor to get at Massif. The bell sounds and Renegade has been disqualified. Renegade is not pleased and is not interested in a post match handshake.
Lord Nexus confronts Galaxian Champion Star Warrior in the back. They are face to face and Nexus extends his hand and says thanks. Warrior shakes Nexus’ hand and says it was just the right thing to do. Warrior goes to pull away but Nexus pulls him back and tells him to remember that inside the cage, it will be every man for himself.
Invincible Krakan and Mutant cross paths with Thantos in the back and Krakan is not happy. He tells Thantos this is his fault and it was his idea to team Khan & Executioner.
