2087.19.19 – Deneb Sports Arena, Cyngus
It is an electric atmosphere in the Arena as thousands of fans have jammed the facility to see their home planet hero Comrade Terror battle for the Galaxian Title.
We look ahead to Galactimania where Omega will battle Death Knight in a strap match and Exo-King will face Massif.
Match 1: Exo-King v. Omega
King cuts a great promo about the high place Comrade Terror holds in his Court calling him the rightful Galaxian Champion. King’s ribs are still taped. Omega is out to huge heat. Omega is obviously shaken on the way to the ring. Omega responds to the pressure however and dominates the early action including sending King into the ropes and chopping him down on the rebound. King bails after a spinning neckbreaker (ch) and Omega dives between the ropes onto King at ringside drawing a nice reaction from the fans. King is finally able to capitalize on his size advantage and takes control of the action after blocking a body slam. Flying body crusher for a 2 count (R7/P5). Omega is tossed to the floor and when he crawls back in King is waiting with a DEATH VISE for the win (R5/P7).
We look back at the up and down year Commander Sam has had including his crushing defeat to Comrade Terror on 2087.16.16 in a Mensa Tables Match.
Match 2: Commander Sam v. Executioner
The heat for Sam is completely insane. Security is needed to restrain several fans who appear ready to actually kill Sam. It is all Sam from the opening bell. A reverse backbreaker sends Executioner to the floor and Sam comes outside starting a wild brawl. Sam maintains control and hits a SAM’S ATOMIC DROP for the win (R5/P5). Total squash and the fans are livid.
We look back at the attack on Massif last card.
Match 3: Massif v. Death Knight
The fans still have not calmed down after the last match as both men make their way to the ring. We are told Massif has not fully recovered from the attack at the hands of Death Knight and Evil Ones. Knight starts the match on fire including trapping Massif in a figure four leglock. Massif is able to escape an airplane spin and sends Knight airborne with a high back body drop coming off the ropes. Both men go for a clothesline and crash together in the middle of the ring. Knight is up first and mounts the corner for a deathjump smash and takes out the referee. COSMIC LANCE (no referee). Massif sends Knight into the ropes for another backdrop but Knight counters with a piledriver as the new referee arrives to continue the match. COSMIC LANCE. 1, 2, kick out (R7/P5). Massif counters an eye rake and hits an overhead toss. Cover for 2 (R7/P6). It is back and forth and Massif traps Knight in a grinding bearhug. Knight falls to the floor and Massif comes outside and gives Knight a Massif Power Slam through a table at ringside! The fans explode! Knight is counter out of the ring.
We go back to Battle for the Belts when a disqualification cost the Space Croppers the Galaxian Tag Team Title Tournament Finals and gave the Greek Gods the Titles.
Match 4: Winner gets a title shot - Space Croppers v. Greek Gods
The fans continue to give it to the competitors from earth and boo the Greek Gods out of the building. Beast-Rider brings a fierce looking creature to ringside that he handles with caution but the fans seem to appreciate. Renegade and Proteus square off at the bell and renew their intense rivalry from earlier this year. Actagon is in and sends Renegade into the ropes and both men go for a clothesline on the rebound and crash together in a heap. Actagon is up first and takes the Space Cropper to the floor and Renegade eats the rails. GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP and Renegade powers free (R7/P3) but Actagon applies the hold again. Renegade is out a second time (R8/P4). Proteus is back in with back to back full power slams. Proteus whips a bloody Renegade into the ring steps drawing great heat. Proteus rams Renegade’s face into the steel rails and the referee has seen enough and disqualifies Proteus. The Space Croppers face Ghengis Khan & Executioner at Galactimania for the Tag Team Titles. The fans could not be happier.
We look back at the recent battles between the Society of Death and Flying Titans
Match 5: Flying Titans v. Society of Death
The fans hate Earth so much that they actually back the Titans tonight since Ghengis Khan is part of the Society of Death. Pulsar steps in with Invincible Krakan and sends the Society of Death leader up and over with a high back body drop. Lord Nexus tags in and a dropkick off the buckles is enough to send Krakan to the floor. Nexus mounts the corner for a falling double hammer onto Krakan at ringside. TITAN DROP for a 1 count (R9/P4). Khan is able to tag in when Krakan counters a leg lift but Khan misses an atomic knee drop and Nexus connects with a dropkick off the buckles and hooks the leg. 1, 2, 3 (R2/P5). Snake Eyes! It is bedlam in the ring. Krakan has a chair and decks Viper at ringside while Mutant brawls with Pulsar. Khan and Krakan go to work on Nexus. Krakan chokes out Nexus with the chair and then holds up Nexus for a pair of TWIN THRUSTS by Khan. Krakan then hits a FALLING FACE SLAM onto the chair! Viper finally recovers and breaks up the attack with a chair of his own. Nexus is removed on a stretcher.
Thantos is with Comrade Terror and Executioner in the back. Thantos tells them that this will be glorious night in the history of the GWF. It was already seen the end of Lord Nexus and soon it will see the end of both Star Warrior and Wolf.
Lord Nexus is being transported off site to a medical facility for treatment and Pit Viper is in Commissioner Carter’s face demanding to know what Carter is going to do about this. Carter tells Viper he does not like his demeanor and when Viper threatens him again, Carter tells him he can take it up with the Society of Death next time they get in the ring. He is taking no action against them.
Match 6: Star Warrior v. Thantos
With the Comrade Terror part of Thantos’s group, the Evil Gamesmaster gets most of the support from ringside tonight. Warrior looks prepared for the reaction. It is back and forth for most of the early action with both men getting in offensive moves. A Running Star Blast flips Thantos to the floor and Warrior comes outside ramming Thantos headfirst into the steel rails busting him open. Warrior connects with four consecutive Running Star Blasts and covers Thantos for a 1 count (R9/P2). Thantos goes into the ropes but counters a backdrop with a piledriver. Huge pop! Satanic Skull Crusher. Thantos hooks the leg for the three count (R2/P2). Snake Eyes twice in a row! Thantos attacks Warrior with a series of stomps and then applies a MASTERLOCK. Commander Sam hits the ring drawing huge heat and breaks up the attack with a chair shot to Thantos. Warrior scales the buckles for a NOVA LAUNCH onto Thantos as Comrade Terror and Executioner come to the aid of Thantos. Sam holds them off with the chair and Warrior hits a second NOVA LAUNCH drawing huge heat from ringside. Security arrives and Warrior and Sam leave the ring as the fans pelt them with trash. Thantos needs assist leaving ringside.
We look back at Wolf’s Title victory over Comrade Terror.
We preview card 2087.20.20, Galactimania. The final show of the season. Galaxian Tag Team Champions Executioner & Ghengis Khan defend against Space Croppers, Lord Nexus, if he is able to compete, faces Invincible Krakan, Massif meets Exo-King, Omega takes on Death Knight in a strap match and just signed, Mutant faces Pulsar in singles action. As well, the Galaxian Title will be defended.
Match 7: Galaxian Title Match – Wolf (ch) v. Comrade Terror
Monster ovation for Comrade Terror as his comes to the ring. Wolf is booed out of the building but he could care less and is ready to fight. It is all Terror from the bell with the crowd roaring at every blow rained down onto Wolf. Wolf bails to the floor and drags Terror out with him whipping Terror into the steel ring post. Wolf tosses a bloody Terror to the opposite side of the ring and then attacks with a falling body block but Terror counters, catching Wolf and power slamming him through a ringside table! Back inside. ATOMIC WARHEAD. Wolf kicks out (R9/P4). ATOMIC WARHEAD. Wolf kicks out of the cover again (R9/P5)! The crowd cannot believe it! Third ATOMIC WARHEAD. 1, 2, 3. New Champion! (R4/P6). The crowd is celebrating. Comrade Terror is a two time Galaxian Champion! Wolf struggles to leave ringside a bloody Terror mounts the corner holding the Title Belt aloft while ringside goes insane!
