Yes, (almost) always.
I prefer my wrestling based in reality and want my feds to follow suit. The only one I don't use the conversions for is Chikara because they promote men and women as being on the same level.
Personally, when I watch wrestling, when anyone, women or otherwise, defeat someone they are totally outclassed by, it loses credibility. For instance, when Kimber Lee (who I think is really good) recently defeated Donovan Dijak at a Beyond Wrestling show, it was totally unconvincing. I just did not buy it and don't think I ever would. Unless, she knocked him out with a tire iron.

Pariah , cruefan68 - As Pariah surmised, Truth Martini's appearance in the Rumble was a throw away elimination just for fun. No actual card was used. He and Jerry Lynn were added for flavor. Vegas - The Veda, Stokely, Cheeseburger angle does not involve major players but may have significant impact on the future of ROH Television. bookerbill - When I was thinking about the format for the Rumble write up, I thought an integrated list of entries and eliminations told the story of the match better. Sort of a timeline. I'm not even sure if I didn't "borrow" this style myself, so you are welcome to it. I had a lot of fun rolling out ASE and it sounds like you guys had fun reading it. Mission accomplished! Thanks for commenting!
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 28 Caprice Coleman def. Jay Lethal by disqualification Lethal came out with an obvious chip on his shoulder. He started the contest with a low blow on Coleman and it only went downhill from there for Caprice. Lethal’s MO was pure violence as he took the already abused Coleman to the floor and smashed him into the ring post. The ref’s warnings were met with defiance as Jay picked up a chair and bashed his opponent with it and glared at the official. The blatant nature of Jay’s actions assuredly led to the ref disqualifying him. Before Lethal could leave the ring area, Veda Scott came down with a microphone, wanting to get a word from him. “Jay! Jay, I’m sure our viewers want to know where this unfettered aggression is coming from.”Jay tried ignoring her but she blocked his path to the aisle. His lip curled and on commentary Kevin Kelly urged her not to put herself in harm’s way. “Jay, is there any chance this has something to do with Adam Cole currently holding the ROH World Championship, a title you held as the leader of Affluence? Does this mean that Adam is now the top guy…”“Veda Scott, you shut your mouth!”“But Jay, you and Adam have had a history of butting heads over the hierarchy in Affluence. You can’t be happy about him taking that top spot.”Veda smiled and held the mic up for a response from the seething Lethal. Steve Corino echoed his broadcast partner’s concerns for Veda’s safety: “Oh, Veda, don’t go poking the bear.”The tension was at the redline when Matt Taven came out. “Jay! Buddy. Why are you so wound up?” Taven cheerfully asked. “She’s just doing her job. Besides, it shouldn’t matter who the world champion is, as long has Affluence has the belt. Am I right?”Lethal did not appreciate Taven’s presence, as it was still in question whether he considered Matt a welcome addition to Affluence or not. “Hey, Jay, just chill out buddy. Don’t let these Melvins get into your head. I got a match right now but we can talk later. And don’t worry, I’m going to get that win back for you from when Michael Elgin beat you last time. Affluence baby!”Taven got into the ring with Lethal glared at him going into the break. Michael Elgin def. Matt Taven by pin Elgin was coming off a losing bid for the ROH World Championship held by Taven’s Affluence teammate Adam Cole. He got off to a decent start but Matt fired back getting a near fall with a rope hung neckbreaker that had the fans shouting ‘That was three!’. Taven appeared a step ahead for most of the match until Big Mike scored with a Buckle Bomb followed by an Elgin Bomb. Taven kicked out of the pin attempt but got dropped with a spinning backfist right after. Elgin got a measure of redemption against Affluence but would it keep him in title contention? ROH Update with Stokely Hathaway“Hello, folks. Ian Riccaboni here, filling in for Stokely Hathaway. Ring of Honor’s next iPPV, Glory By Honor, comes to you from Chicago Ridge. The feature attraction of the night will be our traditional Champions vs. All Stars 8-man elimination tag team match. We know the champions: ROH World CHampion Adam Cole, ROH World Television Champion Donovan Dijak, and ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon. But who will comprise the All Star team? You’ll have to stay tuned in the coming weeks as we make the announcements. But I can give you a hint: a brother tag team will be participating. Well, that’s all for this update. Join us next week for more information about Glory By Honor!” The Young Bucks def. The All Night Express by pin Having just lost the ROH World Tag Team Championship, ANX were looking to recapture their momentum against the slumping Young Bucks. Rhett Titus and Kenny King went to work double-teaming Matt Jackson. Matt fought back against King and was able to tag in his brother Nick. The Bucks showed their flawless teamwork and Titus had to make the save after Kenny was spiked with a Meltzer Driver. The action was back and forth at a fast pace. The Bucks were sharp on offense, hitting all of their signature moves. Titus survived one Indytaker but the second one ended the night for ANX. Kevin Kelly noted that it looked as if these two teams may be headed in opposite directions.

1.7 earns 4 1/2 stars. You were PENALized 1/2 star for allowing Joey Ryan to do his stupid gimmick.

These shows are supposedly doing great business. How about signing the promotion itself?

I've been meaning to mention that I really like the pairing of Drew Gulak and Cedric the Hitman for some reason. Just a couple of annoying troublemakers. I think they'll give the Mack a handful in the handicap match.

Another great KRU tour from Japan!
What I love most about these shows is the unique match ups you put together.
Bullet Club divided! Will we see Bullet Club and Bullet Club-Wolf Pack? Uh... never mind.

ALL-STAR EXTRAVAGANZA VIII September 24, 2016 Lowell, MA ROH color commentators Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino welcomed the viewing audience and announced that the show will kick off with the 16-man Honor Rumble with the winner getting a shot at Adam Cole’s ROH World Championship later in the night. HONOR RUMBLEOrder of Entry(+)/ Elimination(-) +Mark Briscoe+Kazarian-Kazarian (by M. Briscoe)+Nick Jackson+Silas Young+Jay Lethal-M. Briscoe (by Lethal)+Matt Jackson+Jay Briscoe+Raymond Rowe-M. Jackson (by Young)+Matt Taven-Taven (by J. Briscoe)-N. Jackson (by Rowe)+Hanson-J. Briscoe (by Young)-Lethal (by Hanson)+Truth Martini-Martini (by War Machine)+Caprice Coleman-Hanson (by Young)-Coleman (by Rowe)+Christopher Daniels+Jerry Lynn-Daniels (by Rowe)+Dalton Castle-Rowe (by Castle)-Young (by Lynn)+Michael Elgin-Lynn (by Elgin)+ACH-Castle (by ACH)+Chris Sabin-ACH (by Sabin)-Sabin (by Elgin)WINNER: Michael ElginNotes: There were two surprise entrants, making this an eighteen man rumble. The first was Truth Martini who came out wearing a ridiculous looking singlet and a gaudy headband. He was immediately eliminated by War Machine. The second surprise was former ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn. Jerry looked sharp eliminating the man who lasted longest in the rumble, Silas Young. Lynn then took a pounding at the hands of eventual winner Michael Elgin. The crowd did not appreciate Elgin’s treatment of the veteran. As noted, Silas Young lasted the longest amount of time and tied with Ray Rowe for the most eliminations at three apiece (not including Rowe and Hanson tossing Martini). Veda Scott came out to address the controversial comments she made about Stokely Hathaway last week on ROH Television. “My social media accounts have been blowing up this week asking me about the accusations I leveled against Stokely Hathaway. While I want to get this out in the open, I cannot go into too much detail for legal reasons. What I can say is this: after the Death Before Dishonor show in Las Vegas, the two of us accompanied other ROH staff and talent for a night on the Strip. Everyone was having a good time but Mr. Hathaway, who may or may not have had too much to drink, began invading my personal space and conducting himself in an inappropriate manner. It goes beyond that but I can’t…”Stokely Hathaway appeared and approached the ring with a purposeful stride. Veda backed into a corner. “None of that is true!” he bellowed. “And I didn’t touch any alcohol that night!”“Mr. Hathaway, you need to keep your distance,” Veda commanded. “You’re in enough trouble as it is.”Stokely was visibly upset and wanted the mic to speak in his own defense. Veda cringed and Stokely’s frustration showed. Like last week, Cheeseburger ran out and came to Veda’s rescue, taking position between her and Hathaway. Stokely pled with Burger, proclaiming his innocence. Cheeseburger held up his hand as if readying a palm strike. Stokely’s frustration was clearly turning into anger at this point. He moved to step around Burger but took a palm to his chest, knocking him back and to the mat. Hathaway shook his head to clear it and furiously pulled his shirt off, wanting to throw down. Cheeseburger alertly nodded, ready to take Stokely on. Cheeseburger w/Veda Scott def. Stokely Hathaway by pin Veda stayed at ringside to corner Cheeseburger for this impromptu match. Stokely used his size advantage to control the match but Cheeseburger did not waver. He had Hathaway in trouble with an Alligator Clutch but Stokely got the quick rope break. Hathaway then bailed out of the ring after taking an Ultra Huricanrana. As Stokely was trying to regroup, Burger hit him with a huge splash from the top turnbuckle to the floor. As Hathaway tried getting back into the ring, Veda grabbed his ankle. It did not prevent him from beating the ref’s count but it was enough of a distraction that it allowed Cheeseburger to land his Shotei Palm Strike for the win. The humiliated Hathaway picked himself up off the mat as Veda gave Cheeseburger a hug and led him back up the aisle. Boston Street FightROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPDonovan Dijak(c) def. BJ Whitmer by pin Truth Martini accompanied his man Dijak to the ring, favoring his back after his rough elimination from the Honor Rumble. Hobbled as he was, he did not put up much protest when the referee sent him back to the locker room. This was to be a one-on-one battle. The two bitter enemies exchanged offense with Dijak getting the upper hand with a crushing backbreaker. Whitmer rolled out of the ring to recover. Dijak followed and, in a vicious display of brutality, gave BJ four more backbreakers against the ring post. Pulling apart the barricade, Donovan suplexed his agonized opponent onto it. Dragging Whitmer back into the ring, Dijak gave him a belly to belly suplex and covered him for the three count. The utter destruction of Whitmer ended his campaign to regain the TV title and may have put him on the shelf for a while as he had trouble leaving the ring area under his own power. Kenny Omega def. Matt Sydal by pin Kevin Kelly mentioned that Omega and Sydal had a sensational series of matches in Japan and now Ring of Honor fans would be able to witness it live. Omega’s over-the-top entrance antics had the crowd cheering. Kenny’s opening offense was a quick powerbomb that resulted in a near fall. Omega had Sydal reeling with a string of blistering offense. With Sydal nearly out on his knees, Kenny pointed a finger gun at his head and brought the hammer down before hitting him with an executioner Hadouken to the face, ending the match. The roof was coming off the place as Omega’s wide-eyed gaze took in the crowd. As Kevin and Steve commented on the one-sided victory, Chris Sabin came down to ringside and pointed at Omega with double finger guns. Kenny turned, smiled, and nodded. Steve Corino asked if that was Sabin showing respect or Omega accepting a challenge. Kevin said, “I think it’s both.”ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPAdam Cole(c) def. Michael Elgin by pin Cole was not his normal cocky self as he stepped into the ring against his formidable challenger. The pressure was on for his first defense of the title. Cole cheap shot-ed Elgin at the Code of Honor then dropped him to a knee with a superkick. Seizing the opportunity, Cole went for the Panama Sunrise. Elgin got his shoulder up at 2 ¾ and the crowd let out their collectively held breath. Adam tossed Elgin out to the floor and got in some shots before returning to the ring, hoping to get a count out. Big Mike tried making a comeback but Cole cut him off and tried for another pin with the Florida Key. Elgin easily powered out but Adam stayed on him, going for the figure four leglock. He worked the hold looking for a submission. With his opponent’s base weakened, Cole once again went for the Panama Sunrise, this time securing the three count. The new ROH champion retained in convincing fashion. Ladder WarROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPreDRagon def. The All Night Express(c)Ladders of various sizes were arranged around the ring and the ROH World Tag Team Championship belts were suspended high above the ring. The participants came to the ring for the most dangerous match in Ring of Honor history. The opening volley was fast back and forth action. Kyle O’Reilly caught Rhett Titus in Armageddon as Bobby Fish set up a ladder and began to climb for the prize. Kenny King springboarded half way up the other side of the ladder to race Fish to the top. At the pinnacle, the pair traded blows and Fish was knocked from the ladder. As King grabbed for the belts, reDragon tipped the ladder, sending him crashing through a table at ringside. Fish and O’Reilly propped the ladder back up and Kyle made the climb this time as Titus was held in the Fish Hook Deluxe Edition. reDRagon regained the tag team titles with relative ease. Current Rankings:
ROH World Champion - Adam Cole
- Michael Elgin
- Donovan Dijak
- Chris Sabin
- Dalton Castle
- Jay Lethal
- BJ Whitmer
- Christopher Daniels
- Matt Taven
- Kenny Omega
- Matt Sydal

Pariah - I had a couple of angles that I built on going into All-Star Extravaganza but I didn't have the rest of the card settled. I've been wanting to do an Honor Rumble and this was the perfect opportunity. I've already started rolling up ASE and the Honor Rumble is in the books. Adam Cole will have a big challenge for his title defense. cruefan68 - So cynical about Veda! She could be shooting straight about Stokely's caddish behavior... Okay, I'm not fooling anybody. LOL. Though thinnly veiled, the picture is bigger than you may think. As for Kenny Omega, I'll be bringing him in once in a while as an attraction. While he's a great performer, I'm not a huge fan of his so no Bullet Club in my ROH fed. bookerbill - I do try to keep fresh things going on and have been creatively inspired as of late. There was a time when I felt this fed was getting stale and the dice were not supporting any of my plans. Now, I have a regimen of rotating new blood in and managing timelines for angles. I had a Moose/Affluence/Kenny Omega storyline that never got off the ground but otherwise things have been going according to plan. I think I have enough booking ideas stockpiled to last through the 2017 season. Thanks for the feedback, guys! All-Star Extravaganza will be posted this weekend and it should be exciting!

The American Wolves are rabid! They are sinking to SCUM's level. For shame.

Everyone on 1.5 pt.1 just seems so... mean. LOL. That's the only way I could think to put it. The heat of competition is making the talent really bring the pain.
