Maybe they're planning to use Cody as a transitional champion so they can put the belt on Kenny Omega when the inevitable Cody vs. Kenny match happens. Doubt that will ever happen. Omega is too much of a flake and can't get his visa issues squared away

TTX - Thanks. Pariah - Cole and Taven minus Mike Bennett & Maria is a Kingdom I could've got behind. New Kingdom is much better. Hoping to get cards for Vinny & TK soon. cruefan68 - Eddie Guerrero is one of my all time favorites. That spot definitely comes in handy when the dice stick you with a crummy DQ. Vegas - Thanks for the kind words, my man! As always I appreciate the comments!
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 30 Donovan Dijak w/Truth Martini def. ACH by pin ACH survived Dijak’s initial onslaught, including taking Feast Your Eyes twice. The smaller man began chipping away at his much larger opponent and Truth Martini was getting nervous at ringside. The ROH World Television Champion withstood ACH’s barrage of offense, finishing him with Feast Your Eyes. The usually confident Dijak wiped the sweat from his brow, scraping by in a close contest. The Addiction def. Jay & Mark Briscoe by pin Matt Taven joined Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino for commentary at ringside. Christopher Daniels demanded to know why his Affluence teammate was present. Taven replied that he wanted to “Make sure these two Melvins remain unbiased.” Corino wanted to clarify to Taven that he wasn’t a Melvin, just Kevin was. “Sure, Steve, sure,” was Matt’s response. Jay and Daniels started out trading offense with Briscoe going for an early Jay Driller. The Briscoes teamwork kept “The Fallen Angel” on the defensive until he mounted a comeback and got the tag to Kazarian. The Addiction used some of their patented double-team arsenal to secure the advantage and isolate Jay. Mark got the hot tag but Kaz cut off the fiery comeback and tagged Daniels back in. Mark tried turning the tide with some Redneck Kung Fu but Daniels made the defensive tag. Kaz took some shots before outmaneuvering Mark and setting up a pin with the Flux Capacitor. Jay made the save but Daniels tagged in and hit Angel’s Wings on Mark for the three count. The Briscoes momentum seemingly hit the wall with this unexpected loss. Kevin Kelly asked Matt Taven about what he thought of the win by his fellow Affluence members. “Not bad for a couple of old guys.” ROH Update“Ian Riccaboni here with your Ring of Honor update. I hope you plan to join us on iPPV this coming weekend for Glory By Honor XV from Chicago. The roster for Champions vs All Stars is set. For the Champions it will be ROH World Champion Adam Cole, ROH World Television Champion Donovan DIjak, and ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon taking on the All Star Team of Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin, and Jay & Mark, The Briscoes. As it has been in the past, should anyone eliminate the ROH World Champion, they will earn a future title shot. One can’t help but wonder if Jay Lethal will be looking to cross paths with his stablemate Adam Cole for a chance at gold and reclaiming the top spot in Affluence. House of Truth members Donovan Dijak and Chris Sabin will also be on opposing sides that night. These dynamics could certainly lend to some potentially interesting situations. You won’t want to miss it!”Chris Sabin def. Kenny Omega by pin This special challenge match came out of All Star Extravaganza, as Sabin and Omega looked to test each other out of mutual respect. The fans were expecting a 5-star much but did not get one. Sabin pinned Omega in under a minute with a German suplex. The crowd was shocked but not as much as Omega. The two followed the Code of Honor but it was obvious Kenny was not happy with the result. Conversely, Sabin was nonchalant about the win, as if the result had been a foregone conclusion.

Pariah , cruefan68 - I was SO hoping for Taven to win for the same reason you guys were. Taven has wormed his way into second in command of Affluence it seems. Internal turmoil will have to follow, right? bookerbill - Bravados? OI4K? Los Primos Rivera?!? I'm afraid the brother team to be announced is nothing so exotic. Read on for the predictable truth. Thanks for the comments fellas!
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 29 Silas Young def. Dalton Castle by pin “Wrestling’s Last Real Man” had little trouble dispensing with “The Party Peacock” as Silas used a backbreaker to set up the pin on Castle. Ring of Honor host Veda Scott came to the ring with a confident swagger. She had come out to answer the question that she was sure was on everyone’s mind - where was Stokely Hathaway? She explained that since she filed a complaint with Sinclair Broadcasting about her co-host, Stokely has been put on leave, pending an inquiry by the human resources department. Kevin Kelly commented from the announce position that everyone, including Veda, was told not to talk about the situation on air. Hathaway appeared through the curtain and stood in the aisle, glaring at Veda. As he took a step in the direction of the ring, Veda warned him to keep his distance. Stokely paused for a moment then continued to move in her direction. A burly man rushed out and grabbed Stokely from behind. Hathaway spun out of his grip and threw a punch that missed badly as the man ducked and fired back with a sharp hook, catching Stokely on the chin and dropping him. The man joined Veda in the ring as Hathaway shook out the cobwebs. Veda introduced the man as ROH head of security, and former Golden Gloves boxer, Joey Daddiego. In lieu of taking premature action with a restraining order, Daddiego has been assigned as Veda’s personal security detail during ROH events. Additional ROH security came out to escort Stokely away as Veda wanted assurance from Joey that that ‘creep’ wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near her. Joey nodded, pounding his fist into his palm. reDRagon def. War Machine by DQ On the heels of regaining the ROH World Tag Team Championship, reDRagon were tasked with facing the rugged team of Raymond Rowe and Hanson in this non-title bout. Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly kept Rowe isolated early but Ray made a comeback and War Machine crushed Fish with their finisher. Bobby kicked out of the pin attempt and Hanson dumped him to the floor and went out after him. O’Reilly baited Rowe into the ring to distract the ref as Fish picked up a chair and tossed it to Hanson. As Warbeard caught the chair, Bobby collapsed into the corner of the barricade holding his head as if struck. The ref fell for it and disqualified War Machine. The crowd was up in arms over the finish, chanting ‘Bulls**t!’. ROH Update with Stokely Hathaway“Ian Riccaboni here with your ROH update for this week. I’m still filling in for Stokely Hathaway but you’ll be able to see Stokely in action at Glory By Honor. That’s right! Your regular host recently had an impromptu match against Cheeseburger a couple of weeks ago but came up on the losing end. Not satisfied with how that match ended, Stokely wants a rematch against Cheeseburger with ample time to prepare. It should be something to see. Last week I hinted at who two of the participants for the All Stars team for this year’s Champions vs. All Stars match at Glory By Honor. Well, those brothers are none other than Jay & Mark Briscoe! He’s two more hints as to who we will see on the All Stars team: both are recent holders of the ROH World Championship. As a matter of fact, one of them beat the other for the title. Any guesses? Tune in next week for the announcement! That’s it for now. Stay tuned to ROH Television for more of the best wrestling on the planet!”Adam Cole def. Matt Sydal by pin Sydal was on point with the ROH World Champion, putting Cole in danger early with a Sydal Special. Matt worked hard, trying to earn a shot at the title and got a near fall with a Here It Is Driver. Cole was bleary as Sydal mounted the turnbuckle for a Shooting Sydal Press. Cole grabbed the ref’s pant leg causing enough of a distraction for Matt Taven to jump in the ring and superkick Sydal as he made his leap. Cole jumped at the opportunity and hit the Panama Sunrise for the win. Taven joined Cole in the ring and, with fingertips peaked in an ‘A’ formation above their heads, shouted “Affluence Bay-Bay!”

Ha, ha! I saw a couple of 'slow-paced' matches there with Baba and Bundy. I remember having some never-ending bouts between those two myself.

Woo hoo! Jimmy Hart is back to make Lance Russell's blood pressure go up! Love it!
Some crazy, eclectic teams in King of Trios coming up. Should be a wild one!
Loved the LU intro mixing in Sly Drury and the Eye of Tyr. (From one of your old story lines?) Can't wait to see what you do here!

Question for you, aceldamas ... Of you were rolling a match between SDR (Chikara intro version) and Donovan Dijak, would you implement the female conversions? Thank you for taking the time to explain your standpoint, my friend... Much appreciated! Yes. With the converted stats, SDR would still have a better chance to win than other women would. But her chances should still be limited. With MMA as an example, Rhonda Rousey at one point was stomping out every other women. But she still would have had no chance against Josh Barnett, Cain Valasquez, etc. Now, Sara against someone like Pinky Sanchez? She would have a much better chance of winning but it's still man vs. woman and there are certain realities involved with that. With similar skills and training, men are 99.9% still going to win. That being said, promotions like Chikara and Lucha Underground are far more stylized and fictional, where everyone is essentially a superhero. So the rules are out the window. That's probably why I'm not huge into those shows. I like wrestling to resemble a sport with a reasonable suspension of disbelief. So, I think it just comes down to what you want your fed to be.
