REPORTER: “Ultramantis, how does it feel to be atop the rankings for the 2nd week in a row?

Y2K: “I’d say we’ve found our 12th member of the drug ring on his team. There’s no way that Scar could have defeated my entire team without help!”

Dragonlord: “Stop crying Assassin! You got beat by pure Aethran dominance, any Titan could do the same.”

Ultramantis: “If you two are finished marking your territory; the question was for me. My team understands the expectations of winning and what is required to meet them; that said, I expect to be atop the rankings the entire season.”

Panther Warrior: “That will only last until you meet us Week 4.”


REPORTER: “Y2K, how do you respond to talk of your entire team at risk of being replaced if your performance doesn’t improve?”

Y2K: “I’ve heard no such thing. My superior would inform me if such were the case.”

REPORTER: “Follow-up, you’ve started with a 4-12 record; how do you plan on getting on track again?”

Y2K: “I’ve made some adjustments to our lineup and spoken with our team regarding effort.”

Icarus: “Effort at losing you mean.”

(all laugh, except Y2K – who is staring a hole in the side of Icarus’ face)


REPORTER: “Panther Warrior, who is better: Pandamonium or Scar?”

Panther Warrior: “Pandamonium; no contest.”

Ultramantis: “After our Week 4 match-up please ask that question again. We shall see how the answer has changed at that time.”


REPORTER: “Dragonlord, your team rebounded in a big way Week 2. Can you keep that success going?”

Dragonlord: “It will be tough. All the teams in this league are filled with tough competitors. It will take a massive effort to make it to the playoffs; especially since we’ve suffered setbacks due to injury.”

REPORTER: “Follow-up, what does the addition of The Saint do to your roster?”

Dragonlord: “He is a capable replacement; we look to continue our success in the coming weeks with him leading the fight.”


REPORTER: “Icarus, your team was the pre-season favorites to win the championship. Where do you feel you are at this point?”

Icarus: “I’d say we have a long way to go yet. We’re making some adjustments this week and we’ll see where that leaves us.”

Ultramantis: “Well said Captain Evasive. What he meant to say was that he faces us next week and expects another loss.”

(Icarus surges to his feet and lifts Ultramantis into the air by the throat; GBL security moves in to separate them)

Icarus: “We can start right now if you want.”

(Ultramantis punches him square in the face; he drops to the floor as the GBL officials race to get between them and force them apart. Ultramantis dusts himself off)

Ultramantis: “As I said before, we shall see about that.”


GBL OFFICIAL: “Thank you ladies and gentlemen for coming today, that will conclude our press conference at this time.”

Really like the addition of the press conference. It will add some depth to the league.

The Sundragons better give Maul a raise. Had it not been for him, Scar would have likely repeated his last performance.

The Assassins with yet another loss. They better get it together quick.

Vain is performing exceptionally well. I really like the character, not as much as Steele Freak mind you, because Freak is a beast in the ring. Interestingly enough, I have them together in my 2119 fed as the new Beauty and the Beast.

agree with my man D! Scar looked like he would've rolled again if not for Maul stopping the bleeding. Team Armageddon is the team to beat, off to a quick start! Really entertaining results. All the added stuff with press conferences, injuries, and comments really add a realism to this, just like a live sports show! fun stuff fans!

Y2K: “Assassins of course.”

Scud: “We’ll find out next week. We match-up really well against them. I think it will be a good test for us.”

Ultramantis: “Just say you’re going to beat them and be done with it. Everyone is going to beat them.”

Scud: “We’re going to win.”



REPORTER: “Quetzal, will Lycosa’s injury this week hamper your chances to win your next match?”

Quetzal: “Not in the least. He’s ready to go.”

Icarus: “You better hope so. There will be no excuses when we beat you next week.”

Quetzal: “You aren’t on our level. You’ll see.”



REPORTER: “Icarus, how did it feel to make Ultramantis eat his words from last week?”

Icarus: “Maul was monstrous; he really saved us. Drake was also phenomenal. It felt great.”

Ultramantis: “You got lucky!”



REPORTER: “Y2K, rumors abound about a NEW Assassins team in the works if you can’t find success. Are you concerned about your position?”

Y2K: “Look, I told you last week that I haven’t heard anything about that. They would tell me if they were planning something that big; I’m the freaking Captain of the team.”

Ultramantis: “They wouldn’t tell you that they’re going to fire you until the last moment moron.”



REPORTER: “Dragonlord, The Saint is 0-1 so far. Is he meeting your expectations?”

Dragonlord: “Absolutely. He delivered a weakened opposing team Captain to me to finish off. That’s exactly what we want.”



REPORTER: “Tyrro, you got your first win this week. What were the keys to that victory?”

Tyrro: “Pi and Solstice were the keys. Without them, we would be no better than the Assassins are right now.”



REPORTER: “Panther Warrior, you lost a heart-breaker to the Armageddon. How do you recover from that?”

Panther Warrior: “We beat the Marauders next week.”

Ultramantis: “It won’t be that easy.”

Panther Warrior: “No? I doubt you will even make it close!”
